My wife and I had very high expectations for Seasons 52. We should have never had any!! This was our Friday night date night and since we both were tired, we decided to call in for we can take it to-go. Our orders: My wife: Salmon w/ potatoes and green beans My order: Lamb Lion w/ broccolini and mash potatoes To make a long story short and a short story long. My wife ended up getting sick to the point of vomiting due to the Salmon, she didn't even finish it. My lamb loin was borderline raw when I ordered medium well and was burnt. Sides were the only thing that was decent. As I write this review I am infuriated by the quality of food that is being served here. This place is amazing! We got the tuna tartare and seabass. The seabass is probably one of the best fish dishes we've ever had, and I highly recommend this dish to anyone who is having a meal here. The service and vibe are really good here too - waiters are attentive and super nice, and of course gave good food recommendations. However, the food is reasonably priced, and I love how they display the calories next to each menu item. When you enter, you're immediately greeted and taken to a table. I came here on a Friday afternoon during Happy Hour and sat at the bar and had a great experience. The service was excellent and the bartender, Bre, was very sweet and offered great suggestions! After the meal, while waiting for my car, I handed the valet three books, planning to retrieve them momentarily after a quick restroom stop. In the rush of the moment, I forgot them and left. When I returned the next day to pick up my books, the employee at the front told me flatly that there were no books. No apology. No attempt to check. Just a firm "no." Here's where it went from disappointing to genuinely appalling: I could see the spine of one of my books sitting directly behind her. When I pointed this out, she handed it to me without a word of acknowledgment. No embarrassment. No explanation. I asked about the other two. She shrugged, said she didn't know, and turned away to help someone else mid-conversation. Two books are still missing. But what stayed with me was the complete absence of accountability. The initial denial. The dismissiveness when caught. The refusal to even pretend to care. I won't be returning, and I'd encourage anyone hosting clients or guests here to reconsider. read more

For mains I had the surf and turf - 6oz filet cooked medium rare which cut like butter and tasted like heaven, and lobster tail which was nice. Potatoes and broccolini on the side. Was a delicious meal. They came by with their little parfait tour and explained all the options. I had the turtle cheesecake and devoured it in 3 bites. They had like 8 options of them. Came in last minute to celebrate my birthday upon my Mom's request who works in the area. I was in town visiting and she always speaks highly of Seasons 52, but I've never been. I loved everything. It was an early evening reservation so not many people, but the service was excellent and so was the meal. We were greeted at our table by Chef Eddie and his kindness and warmth really set the tone for the rest of the dining experience. I had the lamb entree and my mother had the salmon. This is one of mine and my extended family's favorite places to eat. The food is always delicious and they go above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions. The food is healthy and they use clean ingredients. We've been coming to this location and the location in Highland Village (prior to its closure) for over 10 years, I've been here for special events, family meals, and just dinner with my husband. We are never disappointed, and it's a go-to spot when I want to dine out with colleagues. My whole family was sad that the Highland Village location closed. While we live near this location, my parents live about an hour away and make the trek when they can. The reason I'm only writing this review now is because, while the service is always kind and accommodating, we just had an experience that went above and beyond. I have a gluten allergy so it's always challenging for me to find accommodating restaurants, but this week my husband and I went in before a procedure for him and his list of food options was cut down to a list that could fit on an index card. After ordering something (and customizing it to high heck) that we thought was safe, Chef Eddie came out personally to speak with us to make sure he understood the restrictions. We quickly realized the order wouldn't work, simply because Chef Eddie cared enough to come speak with us. He then spent several minutes with us to find something he could make for my husband that would be safe. I came here for the first time to have a farewell dinner with my coworkers. The restaurant was very stunning and enjoyed the vibe for sure. We were 6 of us and three of us were vegetarian. We asked for the vegetarian menu and the server forgot to give it to us so we had to ask another server for that (-0.5). We got the vegetarian menu yet the options were quite limited. So we had to order pasta and it was not the greatest one, I would say it was a little below average (-0.5). My other coworkers who had meat options enjoyed their items. Some co workers of mine and I have been having weekly HRW meals and this was on our list to try, and I'm sure glad we did! I love coming here bc I leave always feeling just right, never too full, and I know it's always healthy!!! We were seated promptly when we arrived and after perusing the menu, we quickly decided what we wanted! I wanted something warm, so I went with the chicken tortilla soup and the shrimp and grits, and boy, did neither of those disappoint! The chicken tortilla soup was so flavorful, and had the perfect amount of everything in each bite. I loved the little strips on top. The shrimp and grits was just as good. There were tons of shrimp on the plate along with bacon and chorizo, so it was super flavorful. I never know about grits though, it's always a hot or miss, and I love grits! There was no miss!!! Super yummy, creamy, and thick and paired perfectly with every bit of shrimp! Lastly, one of the main reasons we chose this place is bc they have 3 courses for lunch, meaning we got dessert! We got the perfect bite sized desserts that gave us just the little sugar rush we needed. I got the key lime and it was super refreshing and light and delicious! Wow... just wow. I see this restaurant in passing and I finally decided to try it out with family. You have to make a reservation which isn't a big deal. They offer valet with a base $5 or valet costing $5 not too sure. The service was amazing from the beginning. We were greeted with smiles and hellos, overall just really welcoming. The chef came to our table to ask if I could have mayo and I replied that I can. I felt secure knowing that my allergies were taken seriously. The Salmon was simply divine. I had replaced the potatoes for a wild rice pilaf and it was still amazing ! The accompanying sauce paired so well with the salmon. The Rainbow Trout truly surprised me, it was flavourful, creamy, and melts in your mouth ! I have never been a trout fan but that dish truly surprised me. The Chilean Sea Bass was sweet and tangy. The main course truly left a mark on me. Their drinks were just as amazing too ! As it was a family member's birthday, they gifted us a free dessert ! This place is on the pricier side, so I highly recommend this place for special dinners/lunch or if you want to try something new. First time at Season 52 with my wife and it was absolutely delicious, the service we received was extremely consistent and friendly from the moment we walked in. We started out with the bbq shrimp flatbread I thought it was interesting I liked it, but my wife didn't like the mix of shrimp barbecue and pineapple. Nonetheless it was hot and fresh. For the main course I had the filet mignon with the lobster tail and she had the rainbow trout, we both cleaned our plates everything was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Diana was our server and she did a phenomenal job making recommendations and ensuring our water never reached the bottom. I love how all the food tasted wonderful but at the same time the calorie count wasn't going to give you diabetes! Everything is so well portioned out. Their menu may change with the season, which spices things up. Anyways, the interior is nice and pretty. Staff is sweet. However, do expect to have a little wait time for your food as this restaurant can get busy especially over the weekends. I would definitely recommend any of the flat breads (corn!). The sea bass was delicious. Don't forget to try their truffle risotto... I'm not a fan of risotto but man did they change my mind about it. I would take out their risotto everyday if I lived closer.
