First impression: the broth is very shrimp-forward compared to more traditional ramen broths. Pretty tasty but probably not the healthiest if you want to drink every last drop. Also includes three tail-on shrimp, two shrimp balls, and a shrimp wonton, as well as some bits of grilled cabbage for balance. So yes, this is a very shrimpy dish if you love shrimp. AMBIANCE: Some reviews are saying this is a "hole in the wall" but I wouldn't call this a hole in the wall. It's a fancy looking interior and could be appropriate for a first date, even, in my opinion (so I'm not sure what kinds of hole in the walls you're going to! Lol). It's off of the main street, where the OLD Din Tai Fung used to be, on the outside of the Americana. PARKING: Parking isn't exclusively available for Le Shrimp, so I tend to park at the Glendale Galleria parking lot B near In N Out, since it's free there. Then it's a short walk. You could also park at the Americana but I actually think it would be a farther walk and might have a charge. SERVICE: I went when it first opened so I could tell they hadn't totally figured out the service there because they were pretty swamped with customers and the kitchen seemed to run slow. That means the food was likely made to order, but I hope that with more time their service would improve. FOOD: However, due to the uniqueness of the broth, that's where the 5 stars comes in! The Signature Trio Noodle is delicious. It has shrimp, shrimp balls, and wonton. Plenty of meat and noodles in the bowl. The shrimp was probably some of the best prepared shrimp I've had, especially in a soup. It had a great texture that was fully cooked but not mushy. The broth is the star of the show with its strong shrimp umami flavor! However, as the meal goes on, the broth could get a bit salty and a little too strong. It's definitely great for shrimp lovers but if you aren't into that, you might want to get a soup with a chicken broth instead. The taco was a good appetizer, though it was a bit small. It had a great crunch and balance of flavor! The hainan chicken wasn't bad either! I've had some really good hainan chicken in Singapore and while I wouldn't say this is as good as that, it's definitely solid if you're craving Hainan chicken. Took advantage of their deal on DineLA. Casual dining spot physically connected to the parent Paradise Dynasty but completely separate service. The gentleman who waited on me was very friendly and helpful. I had the Crispy Vegetable Spring Rolls and Signature Trio Shrimp Noodle. The spring rolls were quite good, perfectly browned and crispy with an adequate amount of vegetable that still held their integrity. The dipping sauce was thankfully not overly sweet. At most restaurants, I skip the sweet chili sauce because it's too sweet. The noodle dish was interesting. You absolutely must be a fan of shrimp/seafood as the broth strongly carries such flavor. It was more oily than I like si it had a mouth-coating feel. You get everything listed but it won't quite look like the picture. The cabbage was cut into very small pieces and extensively cooked so they were rather mushy. The noodles are obviously par-cooked then finished off in very hot broth but mine held together like a brick even after 5 minutes (see pic) and I had to work to break it up. Everything else was cooked well and I rather enjoyed it. I liked the wonton a lot and wish there were more than one. The spixe-heat level was good for me but would be too hot for my mom and some friends so be wary. It's a good spot for quick service for not a lot of money. Other reviewers have had some vastly different experiences and I can see that with a newly opened business but this is a franchise that trained its employees at other running locations so it should be consistently better. A really great spot to get a wonderful bowl of soup! I definitely recommend their trio shrimp bowl. The shrimp broth is a unique hearty flavor, perfect for the rainy weather we've been having lately. My brother also really enjoyed their Hainanese chicken plate. The servers are welcoming and anticipate all our needs. We had such a wonderful experience we came back again two days later! The only downside is that getting a table can be hit or miss. The weather this week has been cold and rainy so there was no wait as I'm sure nobody wants to be out in these conditions. I've been before where my wait was nearly an hour. But they're the next best option if Paradise Dynasty (and Din Tai Fung) are packed. Went on a Saturday night for dinner and the wait list was around 30min. Restaurant is clean and new, good ambiance, but not that many tables. Ordered the Signature Shrimp Noodle soup, chicken broth soup, and fried chicken rice. I just want to say, we felt a little confused and disappointed when the food came. They looked nothing like the pictures. First the shrimp broth, it has the shrimp aroma and flavor, but somehow lack of depth in flavor. It tastes pretty bland to us. It comes with 1 piece of wonton, a couple of small shrimp balls, and 3 peaces of small prawns. The wide noodles are unfortunately too soggy, bland, and don't go well with the shrimp broth. I wish they would use egg noodles instead. Chicken soup has a pretty flavorful broth but nothing special. The hainan chicken rice is probably the better option on the menu. It actually tastes pretty flavorful, but the fried chicken is on the small portion. Presentation wise though, it was very disappointing. There was a big plate with small portion of rice, small portion of fried chicken, and that was it. No vegetables or garnishes or anything. Same with the soups, they only came with several tiny leaves of cabbages. Customer service was also mid, we ordered the food through QR, but service was slow and they forgot the spoon. It just felt a bit unorganized and chaotic. Overall, it was a pretty disappointing experience given the hype of the place, and definitely below par compared to other SGV restaurants. We came in on 12/26, a rainy day looking for some warm soup and a warm place to eat. First, when we walked in there was no one at the front desk. After standing for a few minutes a guy walked past us ducked under the desk and tells us to sit anywhere. We walk in and walk towards the warm section away from the door and sat. The guy comes over to us and tells us we can't sit there and if we want to sit there we have to go to the restaurant next door to get seated. We apologized and followed the guy back to the front, where he continues to chastise us for sitting where we shouldn't have 1. Maybe he should have specified where we cannot sit, and NOT say "sit anywhere. " 2.If there is a section that you can walk to from the inside to sit but is NOT part of the restaurant, maybe block it off?! 3. He so adamantly told us several times we sat in the wrong place and that we had to wait our turn to be seated where we sat, he practically kicked us out of the restaurant. So guess what? We left, walked next door and ate there. Based on this horrible customer experience I have absolutely no interest in coming back to try this place. FAIL. read more

We came on Wednesday around 11:30 am , the place was half full. The server brought us the QR code to scan for order. We ordered 2 ramen and a Hainan chicken rice. My husband and son ate the noodles but also left the broth. We had to keep drinking water while eating and hours after the meal too. We told the server after we paid, that it was very salty, he went right away to the kitchen and checked on it. It was nice that he was very apologetic for it.
