The chicken rice portions were extremely small for both steamed and fried, especially compared to Heng Heng Chicken where the same price gets you double the amount. On Black Friday, the restaurant was slow but service was inattentive even at the bar. I just got to download yelp and im looking around to see the restaurant near by that i recognize i just came here with about 5 other friends and we sat in the middle it was our first time trying we absolutely loved the haianesse chicken it was our favorite. This restaurant was very underwhelming. First, the servers were confusing everyone about seating us- 3 groups were all standing around confused as the waiter tried to figure that out. Second, you scan a QR code to order- the online ordering system seemed impractical and confusing. We were so confused by it, because you have to order as a table but submit the order separately from different phones so the 2nd group feels they may be paying for extra stuff they didn't order. Then you don't even pay on the phone, they come by with a POS system and pay that way. The starters came out SLOWLY. Like way after we had already finished our entrees, the soups. One we found out was sold out after we already got our soups. I will say the soups were delicious- the A1 has good flavor and the chicken wasn't overly cooked (though the shrimps were ironically lol). The broth was tasty imo. Not too spicy. The truffle fries were flavorless with no salt. The prawn bun was disappointing, the prawn itself is tiny and the only flavor came from a drizzling of sauce. I've always been a ramen lover my whole life and the fact is that Americana Brand is bringing something new to the table has me excited, but we'll see. Upon my time at Le Shrimp Noodle Bar. I can honestly say I've never had anything like this! It's a very enriched flavor which I love. The fact that they have options for the chicken broth, dry noodles, and sides helps you get a full fill the whole experience. This restaurant has Singapore flavors. I had Hainan Chicken Rice and I consider it the best and closest to the one you would get in Singapore and I've tried many other places. They are not as good. Some are bad. The noodle dishes are also good and have Singapore flavors too. I highly recommend this place for a simple meal. The food is tasty and delicious. Okay, I gave them another shot. I'm giving them 5 stars this go around. Why? Well, the service was much quicker and the wait was nonexistent, so that takes care of the problems from my previous visit. However, the most important thing to me was the value. You get a bowl of noodles for less than 20$ at a sit-down restaurant, and the portion is decent. The dumplings that came with the noodles are really good and filled with meat, and, quite honestly, for one bowl of noodles with soup and veggies and dumplings, I had quite a bit of noodles and broth left over. And that's not because the stuff tasted; it's because it was a lot of food for even me, and I'm a pretty big eater. Now, I know that the price isn't what I would call cheap. Even when compared to your typical ramen shop, this isn't a cheap bowl, and I would probably prefer the ramen places (Silverlake, Tatsunoya) more often than not. But, there aren't a lot of places that you can sit down and eat for less than 20$ per person in L.A. This is one of them, and we need more of them. I wouldn't mind more of the ramen places either. So, I'm bumping my review up to 5. read more

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time. We found that this restaurant was pleasant in so many ways. Noah was our server, and he was excellent. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and would laugh at my husband's stupid jokes. He recommended several dishes, and they were great. What an asset Noah is to this restaurant.
