My new nail salon for sure!!! Immediately greeted and sat the second I got there by Alex, omg he was amazing!! He let me know what to do, referred to me by my name and got me coffee. He was so amazing I just had to tip him as well. My apt was at 10:45 and i was finished by 11:45! I also didn't get the name of my tech ): But he was so good and efficient!! I'm going to a valentines event later where i'll add pictures of my nails but they're so cute I love them so much. I was in need of a new set since my nails were looking bad and i was in the area and I'm glad I came in! It was very nice and relaxing here. The nails I asked for are pearl colored, they are acrylic with gelx and I think a powder to give me the sheen look. They let me know it would cost more before I accepted the additional charge. I really loved my experience because I usually have bad experiences at nail salons. The staff was very friendly and kept asking if I was fine, they even offered me a beverage which was nice. Came to get a full set and gel pedicure a few days ago and I really loved the service it was Definitely a personable experience the staff is friendly and they really make you feel cared for. The only thing I did not like was the shape of my nails I asked for coffin and my left hand looks more shaped than my right hand he took about two hours for my full set my pedicure was done before but I had to get going because I did have work later on so I didn't even have time to tell him to fix the shape I actually was going to get a design but once I saw that he was taking a little long I skipped the design. If I could give this place more starts I would! My sister introduced me to this gem. I went in for a nail fill and I fell in love. The staff greeted us by name (my sister had only gone once prior to our appointment) and continued to address us by name. They offered water, tea, coffee, etc. and the owner constantly checked in on us. My technician took his time making sure my nails looked great and constantly checked in to make sure I liked how they looked (medium coffin). He (sorry didn't get his name) joked with me and made me feel comfortable. He even did a small design on one finger as a "holiday (Halloween) gift" to me. I had a problem with two of my nails, air bubbles which I have NEVER seen before, and they took me right in and fixed it. They even remembered my name, what I had going on, my color number, everything. AND they wouldn't let me pay for a broken nail i had. My first time at Lecheta, I requested a very short acrylic full set with a manicure. I was quoted $48 and $6 for manicure. Upon arrival, I was greeted and made feel very welcomed and, offered a beverage. The reason I am giving 3 out of 5 is because, I walked out paying $71, which was due to getting a nail design on 2 fingers, that was no color but clear. Also, nails were matte which I had not requested. In all fairness, this could be because of the picture I showed them, I was not aware they would be matte, however, they came out nice. Unfortunately, the matted coat on some of my nails was buffed away at the end when the finishing touches were being done. The fact that they were attentive to the comfort of my visit was refreshing! I tried this place out about a month ago. It's super close to home and not too busy. I was very pleased with my manicure by "Milk" but not pleased with my pedicure ( I won't say his name). The pedicure was sloppy, and rushed. I said to myself I will be back and I will definitely book with Milk. Today I called and tried to make an appointment with Milk, and was told I can't make an appointment with my preferred nail tech. The receptionist ( whom seems to be the owner) stated it's their policy and I'm not allowed to choose the nail tech whom I want to make an appointment with, and that I had to take what they give me. I found this very interesting because any other nail salon that I've ever given my business too, I have choose whom ever has done a good job. The nail tech that has given me decent results, takes pride in their work and cares for what the customer wants. And trust me that's very hard to find ! I tried to give this place a try and was hoping to find a new favorite nail salon, but guess that won't be the case. I will take my business else where, to a place with flexibility where I can make an appointment with a nail tech that can do a good job. Suggestion to the owners : if this will be your policy make sure all your techs are up to par and can deliver a decent experience to the client. read more
