At this place there are 8 pedicure chairs and 10 for manicure plus they do wax. From face to bikini waxing. There is only one washroom and that's all they need I think. They take their time to pamper you. It took about a bit over an hour to do both manicure and pedicure. Staff is mostly friendly and care to ask you if you want any upgrades. How do I start .... I have been going here for quite some time now never was super wowed by their work however it is right next to my house so I go for basic manicures and pedicures for the most part all their employees are pretty nice and professional how ever JULIE is terrible her attitude is just horrible not to mention her work.... Went in with a HUGE group of girls (Bridal party) We had a 10am appointment. Got in everything was going ok.... The bride wanted us to do the color scheme of the wedding and asked JULIE who was doing my nails if she could show her how the french manicure with a yellow tip would look on ONE finger (just to see if she liked it) Julie rolled her eyes and said im sure you know how it will look and totally disrgarded her question..... #2 Before Julie got started on my nails I advised her on how I liked the shape of my nails (as I often do when I am paying for them) and she very rudely stated "I am Not Finsihed" I looked at her and said I know I am just letting you know how I wanted them done before you started. She continued to do my nails she completely disregarded what I asked of her and the nails came out HORRIBLE. The bride then talked to the manager about her rudeness and asked if one of the other ladies could fix my nails (I had already paid the $50) The manager then proceeded to say that if I wanted my nails FIXED they would have to charge me extra AFTER she agreed that the polish job was "not good". Needless to say I will NEVER go back again and NEVER reccomend Anyone there I would rather travel to ASIA Nails (logan Square) than to go here again. I wish I could give it -0 stars read more

I do an awful job at painting them myself. I started going to Lee nails my Freshman year of h.s. '05/'06 and stopped going this last summer. I would go back in forth with Gel nails or simple manicures which meant I had a specific person for either one. Diana(owner) would do my "gel" nails and her partner would do my manicures. One day I was in a rush (one day meaning always) and Diana was booked so she sent me to this gal that I've seen before but being a nail tech surely was not her calling. I was there for a fill in and i told her to go just a bit shorter...she filed them all the way to the point of no return. One of my nails bubbled up, another one was patchy, and two other one's were crooked. I complained to Diana and requested for either her or someone else to fix them from scratch. Knowing that I have been a long time customer (8 years to be exact)she completely denied me. I was furious and vowed to never go back again. Side note, I had witnessed bad customer service there to innocent clients and didn't say a word because I was being treated in an ok manner. I suppose you can say my time came around as well. Bad customer service is not okay, Diana. You are losing customers because of this and your poorly trained nail technicians. read more

I used to come to this place all the time but I started to notice my nail tech would get lazy and not want to do a soak off when I would request one. She would just jump in and do a fill so I would think maybe I didn't need one. Nope I did! so instead I would do my own soak off at home to make sure I was getting my nails properly done and would last longer and not have my hair get stuck when I showered. I don't know why I don't speak up, I guess I feel I don't want to cheat on my nail tech and request someone else. So I finally had my last straw when I came in for my wedding day nails. Came in looking for something extra and nice but my nail tech talked me out of it and once again ignored my soak off request. When I got home I noticed the color I had picked in natural light looked yellowish and I hated it! And could tell I just need to start fresh and get a soak off. Went back the next day and explained everything and they said to me it cost more to have a soak off and I said that's fine. I don't have a problem with that, never have and never will. So here I am being faithful to my nail tech and she turns me away! They gave me the new girl who had no idea what she was doing but was very kind and helpful and could see how stressed out I was since these are my wedding day nails! When I came on yelp I read the reviews and I figured this would be a typical good salon. First of all, I read in a review that they speak perfect English. I didn't understand a thing they were saying. Second of all, my nails.. This is a joke. I overpaid. They didn't do my cuticles. I've been to many salons before and am completely unsatisfied. As soon as she was done I kept looking at her and wondering if I was good to go. My nails looked horrible. I thought she'd keep working on it. Also, she didn't even tell me we were done. She was more focused on her laptop... Probably looking up tutorials on how to do nails. I don't understand how people keep coming here. I've gotten better service from an amateur friend doing my nails. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Although this place could be near by, if you're going to overpay, at least go somewhere where your nails will look great. read more

This is my go to spot for nails! I've been to numerous places in the city and this is by far the best place. All the girls are amazing when it comes to dip manicures. Cindy is my go to. She is meticulous when it comes to the dip manicures. My nails last at least 3 weeks and I can stretch to 4 if needed. She takes her time and my nails look amazing when she is done. I get my nails done by Rose who does a phenomenal job. I've had a couple of the other techs who are also great! The owners run the salon nice and smooth like a well oiled machine. I went here in chicago back in Jan very well taken care of business following g protocol concerning Covid you can walk in or make an appointment they look very big but not sure they had a great staff lots of polish and they pick the person to serve you and this is an American own business to my knowledge they had Asians waiting on you for service but there were Americans handling this business so that was a plus for me I was taken care of in 15mnts of arriving and they seem to have a great system in getting you in you sign in on an iPad they make the appointment right there an as soon as an available person comes up they get you in they do temperatures checks they do sanitizer upon you entering they are very well lit up and they look very profesional and I found out now they opened a 2nd shop so cuddles to them on there success I would recommend everyone checking them out I got my eyes did but no manicure cause I'm not hanging out right now but I'll def return for more service read more

Stopped in after going to the other location on Irving and Cicero. Since I had done my pedi at the other place, I went ahead and did the no-chip French mani here. I sat with Helen who did a great job, and she's hilarious! Only thing is, I do have a tiny chip on one of my nails and it also has little ridges on it. It could've happened when I put my hand into the UV machine, who knows? I'll have to see how the rest of the mani holds up before I decide to go back or not. EDIT 7/7/2010- A lot of my nails chipped, not just the first one and it was only day 2! I'm still giving them the 4 stars because they fixed (made them better) free of charge! Never going back! Went there twice bcuz their located near my home. However the first time I went I noticed several staff members had an attitude problem. Fine whatever got over it but second time the service was bad. My second time I got a fill in and lady sitting at station 3 did terrible job my nails aren't smooth but I let it go not to mention her attitude. Then some guy did my pedi and he applied so much polish made very difficult for drying process! They assured me once leaving they were dry! Tell me why a whole hr later that wasn't the case my polish got messed up and I called the next day the lady who runs the place who sits at station 1 is very sweet and accommodating so she told me come in to fix! When I arrived same guy fixed my polish on toe the easy way out by applying polish over the clump! I have attached pics for reference. I would give one star but the woman who runs the place was the only one in the place with good customer service. Never going back as I experienced shit attitude from three different employees from my visits there! I'd of given them another try had the attitudes been better on top of the fact the way the guy just covered up clumped polish with out removing and redoing! Never again! My girlfriend also had an experience of her own! Don't recommend unless ur looking for an half asked job! Tim is always so patient with me especially because I never know what color I want. He will go back and forth with me to make sure I like the color that I choose.
