I've been coming too Lee nails for many years. I usually see the owner, Diana, but yesterday I was seen by someone else. I've been getting my nails done for over 15 years and never experienced as much cutting and pain as I did yesterday. The tech seemed like she was in a bad mood as well as in a hurry. I told her after the first cut with the drill that I needed something for the bleeding. Needless to say I left with 4 cuticles cut as well as the underneath skin on my left middle finger cut. Went in to have my nails done very last minute on a Saturday evening. They had all started falling off and chipping at work from a previous full set I had done elsewhere. I was greeted right away, and asked to to have a seat on the couches and informed which books on the table contained no chip polish colours. Before I could even crack open the second book I was approached by the technician that would be doing my nails I believe his name is Tim. (I hope that's correct otherwise booking with him again may be a bit more complicated ) he was very nice and helped my choose an appropriate grey shade I was looking for before we headed back to the station. His work was so flawless and very neat. Other technicians would frequently stop and watch him work, I could see why his work is impeccable! This place is horrible. Nice service when i walked in but then the lady started to do my nails and cut them way shorter than what I told her I wanted. I then asked her to redo them and fix them to my liking and she had at attitude with it. While soaking the tips off she did my pedicure and was rough and rushing. I hated the customer service and ended up just getting a pedicure which is very expensive. Not worth the visit waste of my time. I will not be returning to this salon. read more

This place was great! I made an appointment and they saw me right away! They are fast and good. I used to go to another salon in Norridge and they would take forever to do a mani and pedi and that's the one thing I hated but would deal with it because they were good. Lees on the other hand will do everything in less time and even better quality. I went last week and had Cindy take care of me and told her i was kind of in a hurry and she did a mani In 30 mins! I visited this salon twice and have always had a positive experience. My first time I got a no chip manicure, and this time I got nail dip powder. The no chip manicure lasted me about two and a half weeks before two nails began to chip which is a pretty good time period for me. My nail dip manicure is still fresh but I expect it to hold up for a while, according to my technician it lasts longer than a no chip manicure because it is a harder surface. read more

UPDATE: After my bad experience, I talked to Diane (who manages the salon) and she arranged for me to have a free polish change with Taylor who is awesome. She cleaned my nails and cuticles up too. Diane even sent me home with a bottle of complimentary cuticle oil. I just wanted to give a shout out to Diane for being so attentive and making it right. And, i want to point out that shes been great at every visit; my problem last time was NOT her fault. I'll be back :) My first visit, they pressured me into a different color than I requested but the service and quality of the work was excellent! I decided to try it again. I had an appt which started 15 Minutes late. That wasn't bad. But then, the nail technician tried to pressure me into a different color for my mani. He pressured me into a more expensive pedi, which was ok. But the foot massage (feet and hands) was unpleasantly rough and then he tried to pressure me into a darker color. THEN he asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. (My eyebrows are somewhat thick but I keep them in shape and get compliments all the time.) Not cool of him to push that. If I did want them done I'd have asked for it! To top it off, the $35 no chip was not the high quality it was on my first visit. He didn't fully cover the tips of my nails and it's lumpy in spots. I pointed it out, he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about but "fixed" it. It's worse now. Luckily the color is sheer so the messy work isn't super noticeable. The front desk staff were super nice (that's why 2 stars vs 1), but after this experience I'm NEVER going back and encourage others to go someplace else. I was standing and crying while getting my nails done a color I didn't choose. I went in a few days ago for a soak off and a new set. Mind you I walk in with a knee brace I'm unable to fully bend my knee at the moment. While I was being seated the lady walked really fast and came back to see if I was following her I just need a minute to hobble over. First I wrote the colors I wanted down on the post it note provided after showing my inspo pic and she brings a whole different color which I refuse to like she gets upset and decides to look for my color after the nails are on, okay.. We start I can't sit normally so the first 30 min I was sitting leg extended to one side or the other until those chairs got filled with other girls which left me sitting far out extending my arms under the plastics guard. She gets frustrated telling me to "sit the right way" after I said I tell her I'm unable to bend my knee she offers a pillow to bend it easier which I personally don't think will help. I'm now standing awkwardly shoving my hands under the plastic guard my lady is now upset she has to stand too she keeps sighing and shaking her head at me. She brings another color not on my list or anything to the inspo pic I just let her paint away so I can go. She cuts my cuticles so I ask to skip the lotion massage also because I have a new tattoo I didn't want her going up my sleeve and she kept insisting and trying to roll my sleeve up with this glob of lotion in her hand after multiple times me saying "no it's okay really I'm fine" I had to move her hand off my arm which she then still massaged my fingers as her own compromise. All that for $60 worth of nails I don't like, never again. read more

If I could I would give this place a zero. Went there Saturday for a no chip manicure. If of the lady was talking to the other employee the whole time. Only time she said anything to me was you pay now??? Ok Then manicure was so rushed that I never knew a cleaning and shaping can be done in 10 min. (I work as a nail tech, but did t have time to do my own) then when she starred painting my nails God the base coat was all over the place. And once you cure it it's a done deal. Then the polish was so massy. I ask her to clean it up she say later. Whatever. So she done i ask to clean it up now. She looks as me like she doesn't speak English. Pretends to clean it up, I was so pissed at that point I just payed and left. Not even 24 hours go by on Sunday 2 of the nails just pop off literally as I'm washing dishes. The rest start lifting from the top. On Monday I call to complain she say come later to fix it. Ok fine thank you. When I get there. They have the nerve to tell me it will be $15 to take them off and paint new polish or free just to fix it up. Will fine just fix it up because the polish is light anyways. Which this girl did such a horrible job to its disgusting. I left without saying anything. Now it's only 1230 just 12 hours since I left after getting them "fixed" 7/10 nails are all peeled off. The worse salon ever. They need to go to actual school to leave what they are doing and actually speak with your clients and not between each other. read more

There are plenty of nail places by my house, but I find myself going to this one the most. When I think about the reason(s) why, the first thing that comes to mind is that I never have to wait. They have usually have 7-10 nail techs working at a time and another plus - they all speak English relatively well! I don't request a particular nail tech so have experienced work done by many of the techs here. I don't have anything bad to say, but I also don't have anything glowing to say. Thus, 3 stars - this place consistently meets my expectations. $35 for a mani/pedi. CASH ONLY tips. They have a cash machine inside if you forget to bring cash. The place itself is great! I usually go to kim (who is amazing). Today kim wasn't there, so I went to whoever and ended up with Olivia. I had a soak off and a dip manicure. You could tell she was being impatient because she didn't let them soak for more than 5 minutes until she started to pry them off my nails. She continued to cut me with the drill, didn't cut my cuticles, the powder ended up looking like bubbles on my nails, and to top it off... at the end she was rushing me out her chair because her appointment was there... extremely unsatisfied. read more

The only reason I came to this salon was to accompany a friend thats a regular at this establishment. They had the doors open during my manicure and all the acrylic shaving was flying everywhere. It was that bad to point that while I was drying my manicure I noticed all 10 nails had little spots from the acrylic shavings. I notified my nail tech and she asked her boss what should we do? All I wanted was for her to repaint my nails and i didn't see what the problem was because of how slow it was at the time but instead she insisted on putting another topcoat on. I refused and she had a nasty attitude about the fact that she had to repaint my nails. While she was taking off the polish she did such a poor job, i asked her for a cotton ball with acetone and took it off myself. If I was to come back, I wouldn't want the same nail tech. read more

I went to this place once and it was a bad experience. I went in for a manicure and the lady left my nails slanted from the top. I let her know (in a nice way) that if she could fix them. Well me and sisters went in there for the works there no chip was just not as good as my regular place one of my sisters went back cause the pedi paint smeared and she went back the next day to get it fixed and they charged her 25 dollars can't believe this I spent over 240 for us three and she gets this treatment sad, try to support local, will drive further away and get what you paid for. Came to this place for the first time for a fill in and pedi. And it was just great! I made an appointment and I'm so glad I did because this place was busy. I love the massage chairs and that they use liners for the pedicure tubs. Very hygienic! Pedi was very relaxing and the women who did it was very nice and did a great job. Hannah then took over and wow! I LOVE my nails. They are so beautiful. This place just makes you feel like you're in some super high end salon. With the awesome dance music they play down to the uniforms all the workers wear. Just a very professional and relaxing atmosphere. I will def be coming back! read more

I set an appointment for me and my brother. I got a basic no chip pedicure and he got the crystalized deluxe pedicure. When I chose my color they had a bunch of books with different nail colors on the nails and the nail colors were numbered. They had pencils and sticky notes for you to write down the color you wanted and the number book it was in. I thought that was super neat and an organized way to do things. In all I spent $100 for both services together. Vinny did my toes and Kim did my brother's. They both were VERY kind, very professional, & clean! The entire salon is professional, and also the most beautiful nail salon I've ever been to. I love my toes and my brother LOVED the service he received as well. They have so many different color options and the whole atmosphere of the nail shop gives me futuristic vibes with it's white walls and colorful lights. I had went there last week. I would say that they were bad at attending a customer But all I got was a fill in with color change. I arrived around 7:30. There was about 5 or 6 people working. One of the nail technician kept saying 5 minutes! 5 minutes! And by the time they got to me it was 8 pm and close to closing. I had picked a color and the nail technician said how about no chip color. And I kept insisting on no chip but he wanted to go home and not wait for the nail polish of my choice to dry.
