They repaired all the damage and our car look brand new again. Washing and interior cleaning of the vehicle was also a nice surprise. Only take your car to Lee's if you want to be CHEATED. Awhile back, I had to replace my clutch on a 2002 sedan. I took my car to Lee's, and for a hefty price, they seemed to do a fine job. However, only 10 months later, the clutch needed to be replaced AGAIN. Since the clutch was still under warranty, I didn't think it would be a big problem, but once we got there, Lee's put up a huge fight about replacing it, and blamed us for being poor drivers (even though I drove the car for 8 years without a single incident...). They refused to fix it for free, regardless of the warranty, and forced us to pay for the parts, which still turned out to be quite a big sum. Then, about a year later, the car started having the exact same problems, and turns out, the clutch needed to be replaced AGAIN. Obviously, we didn't want Lee's to ever touch my car again, so we took it somewhere else, and it has now been running perfectly ever since. read more

Great service and honest prices! I recently took my Toyota here for 30K service, after checking prices with a few shops, including the dealer. Lee's quote was a bit lower and they are in my neighborhood. They ended up finishing my service ahead of schedule and they charged me less than the original quote. The savings was in labor/parts that I would not have been able to verify, so I was impressed with their honesty. Picked the car up a week ago, noticed yesterday that one of the parking lights wasn't working (both headlights had been replaced). Called in and they called back right away and told me to bring it in anytime. In and out in 10 minutes, and they also replaced one of the break light lightbulbs that they noticed was burnt out as well (back end had no damage from the accident, so this was just them being nice guys). Updating my initial review as we recently took the truck they worked on into another shop and the new shop found that brake parts had been wrongly installed by Lee's. My boyfriend and I first brought our truck here for a tune-up and oil change, and asked them to check the front brakes as they seemed to need work. Lee's told us that we needed a new master cylinder and rear brake pads too. We agreed and they completed the work. Five minutes after we picked it up and drove away the truck started smoking and pulling to the side. We turned around and drove back and they told us the problem was the brake caliper and charged us another $300 to fix it, saying it was an unrelated problem. Really? I find it hard to believe that you were in there working on the brakes and yet suddenly the failure of a brake part immediately afterward is unrelated- not to mention the smoking and pulling! Why didn't they notice the problem and inform us as part of the initial work? Additionally they basically held the car hostage when we questioned this and wouldn't let us leave until we paid their extortionate bill of $1500. The whole experience made it clear that Lee's was not a trustworthy place to have work done. read more

I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I asked them to check by brakes because i didn't feel they were reliable.. They checked it and replaced brake pads.. that's it. I didn't feel that breaks were reliable again and went to another shop for estimation. They checked it and found out that the cylinders were leaking. When i went back to Lees they said that they just didn't notice it (bad, very bad mechanics) and did estimation again... on six hundred dollars (i could add +150 in previous estimation place and get it fixed). Will never go there. Also, Customer Service is TERRIBLE. No any respect to the customer and treated like a boy. read more

My clutch failed in my company's parking lot. I had my car, a Honda Element, towed across the highway to Bellevue Honda, which charged me $306 for a diagnostics check and gave me an estimate of $7000 to replace the clutch, air-conditioning, and some other things. I declined to say the least and took my Honda to Lee's, which repaired my clutch (master cylinder issue) and fixed by air conditioner for a little more than 5% of the Honda estimate, which said everything was "critical." At Lee's, they scratched their head's at the Honda dealer estimate, which I shared with them. Turns out there was only a minor wiring issue with the air conditioner, not a whole replace job. Car working great again. Go to Lee's. Honest assessment, service, and prices. read more

Lee's Automotive is a gem. I've been going to Lee's for nearly 25 years now, beginning with a hand-me-down Peugeot 504 diesel, followed by a Mazda 626 diesel, a Dodge Caravan, a Ford Ranger, and lastly a Volvo 850. They provided excellent care of all of them, even the diesels with their quirks and rarities. There was a time during which I mistakenly believed that the Volvo required specialty care, but after paying through the nose for service that only seemed to lead to more expensive repairs without end, we have brought even this car to Lee's. Robert has nursed along this now elderly vehicle (18 years old and nearly a quarter million miles) in a very cost-effective way. He's honest about what needs to be done and what is discretionary, given the age and mileage. What strikes me is that he takes great pride in his work, and even more in the relationship with the customer. He would find it distasteful to simply milk a client because he could, an attitude that may be quite rare in this field (he has noted with distain cases where customers have been ripped off by other automotive establishments). Beware of these guys. I had a very bad experiece. I had an oil leak from my car. They said they will charge $50 for diagnosis and tell me what is wrong. Later, they came back saying there is a leask from the gasket cover and that needs chaged. Cost - $230. I agreed. Later in the day, I got a call saying the work is finished, but there is another leak from the hairline crack of the oil pan which will cost me an additional 500 bucks. I said no to them. I dobut their original assessment was right. Which ended up cosing 230 bucks for me. read more

Not happy........ I took my truck in to have an accelerator cable replaced. It was after hours when I dropped the vehicle off, the tech on duty was polite and efficient...... however, I was told they would call me in the morning with an estimate...... Never got the call, after 10 am I called, they hadnt got to it..... I walked down in person and they did have an estimate put together, I approved it, they said they would call when work was done.... I asked them if they could get it done in a day..... they said yes. at 430 no call from them, I called, they doubled their estimate and added a part, finished the work without my approval........ which I believe is illegal.... I asked why they did not call, and the answer was, they were busy, they needed to do the repair..... I let them know this was not ok, but paid as I need my truck to work. The accelerator Pedal wasnt adjusted, just hooked up, I have to take it all the way to the floor to bring it to freeway speed......... Ill take it to a different mechanic, they do not have my trust. read more
