I just finished 1/2 of the 8" Lefty's cheese steak which had cheese, onions and mushrooms. I also ordered a side of fries and a drink to make the combo. I am so glad I got the 8" and not the 12" simply because this isn't good. Not at all. The meat tastes like it's been burned and the onions are scarce. The fries are just average frozen fries. The pricing for the cheesesteaks is incredibly expensive in my opinion. Almost $13 for the least expensive 12" cheesesteak before sides or a drink. There are other places in Carrollwood that is better than Lefty's when you want a cheesesteak. read more

Ordered pickup through DoorDash. The food was good but next time I'll go in and order and eat it right away. The fries were a bit soggy as was my cheesesteak. The curly fries were tasty and even better with a side of cheese sauce. The crispy chicken sandwich says online that it comes with pepperjack cheese, but ours came with no cheese which was a disappointment. Also asked for ranch on the sandwich and there was none. I had high hopes but I'll give them another try. Update: the business manager or owner reached out to me to follow up with our Togo order that we were not fully satisfied with and sincerely wanted to make it right by offering another meal. I genuinely appreciate the effort and that's a 5 star business in my book. However I believe we should all pay for our orders, and support our local businesses when we can! read more

Perhaps it's due to the Help Wanted sign out front... perhaps I caught them on a busy day with low staff, which resulted in low quality. This sandwich was mostly bread, although I must say the bread was very good. Very skimpy on the meat and I had two pieces of gristle I had to remove from my mouth. I ate at Lefty's Cheesesteaks in Tampa, because I was hungry after I returned from the nearby Spectrum store in the same area. I was pleasantly surprised with the cheesesteak that I ordered for lunch. The cheesesteak along with the french fries and the soft drink made for a very delicious lunch. One of the best cheese steaks I've had in the area. It was well seasoned and the bread was perfect. I ordered the Big Poppa with a side of curly fries. I will say the pricing is a bit steep but I enjoyed my meal so it was worth it. They had a nice variety of cheesecakes as well, which I didn't order but they looked great.
