WHAT EVER YOU DO, DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE. It took over two weeks to receive all my clothing back. I returned to this establishment three times, all three times the owner only had part of my order and tried to give me other peoples clothes. Every crease in my pants was crooked and wrinkles were literally ironed into my shirts. This morning as I attempted to pick up my final two items (which took 10 minutes for him to find) he offered to do me a favor by "letting me have some clothes" I couldn't believe he thought giving me other people clothes it would remedy the terrible service. All three times that I tried to pick up my clothes from this establishment there was line of people with similar issues warning each other of the horrors they had faced. This dry-cleaners is close to my house. Although they advertise "Most items $2.50", several of mine were priced higher, with seemingly no rhyme or reason to it. The service was friendly, however, and they don't require pre-payment. One really notable thing that happened, however, was that the young man who handled my items and rang me up when I dropped off my clothes must have miscounted. My receipt/bill said $23.55. When I went to pick up my clothes, they said that I owed $30.31. I questioned it, and she explained that he had miscounted and I actually had 12 items cleaned instead of 9. I probably looked upset, but I didn't say anything. She said that she'd give me a discount because of the error and only charged me $26. I thought that was very considerate and I really appreciated the customer service. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague; this company lost my Versace scarf and after giving them OVER 3 weeks to find it they are refusing to pay to replace it. I was told today that they put a policy on the back of your ticket stating they will only pay a small percentage of the lost item. Funny thing is no one mentions this policy when you drop something off nor do they have you sign any papers agreeing to it. I brought in a ball skirt with gold inlay in the fabric. When I picked it up my skirt was solid black. I brought the skirt back and the owner was so gracious to hear my concerns. When he looked at the label it said hand wash. My fault. He took equal blame for his crew not noticing the label either. He gave me a fair credit to the store. (He is our regular cleaner anyways). The fact that he could have turned it on me and said too bad, your 200$ skirt is your problem he didn't. I will donate the skirt and continue to give him my business!! Jay Yu lost a sports coat of mine. I have returned three times as he asked for time to search for it. On the third visit, he admitted it was lost and asked me to bring a receipt for a replacement. I went to Kohl's and bought the exact jacket he lost (it was only a few months old). He then said he couldn't find his checks and to return three days later. Upon arrival today, he said he didn't have the money and "his brother" would only allow him to reimburse me for half the cost. I am now pursuing the matter in small claims court. I switched from my last dry cleaner because after two years of weekly visits, they still looked at me like it was my first visit. I wear a shirt and tie every day, so I have a lot of shirts. To be literal, they're not dry cleaned but laundered, right? So, no suits, no big ticket items, just men's dress shirts. My shirts are always ready in two days, which is fine with me. Their hours are very convenient as well. However, the 4 star rating is for knowing me. Not just the owner, but the employees as well. I wear a name badge so it would be easy to address me by name, but they don't. They go one better. They know my phone number, so they punch in my order instantly and I'm out of there quickly. Today, they went one step further. I pulled up a few spaces away from the store (not directly in front) and when I entered, they already had my order waiting for me. WOW. That's impressive to me. Decided to try this place out since its so close to home. The took amazing care of my garments. They actually look the way they did when I first bought them! It took two days to get my garments which isn't a big deal for me; however I thought that their normal turnaround time would have been next day The price was affordable and most of my garments really were $2.50 each. The customer service was great and they even have a drive -thru which is an added bonus! Since my clothes were not cleaned and was still not ready, I asked for my clothes back and said I can't make a payment for service that was not provided and the inconvenience he caused me. He started yelling, screaming, calling names and using profanity. Would not let me explain my situation at all and did not apologize once. He held my clothes hostage and threatened to not return my dirty clothes until I made a payment. I ended up paying so I could get my clothes back (it was never cleaned). This place is terrible. I brought a custom ordered fitted shirt in to be pressed and they completely damaged it. The mistakes are so bad and so unbelievable that it almost doesn't even seem like a mistake. It's hard to think that this wasn't malicious. Not only were there wrinkles still in the shirt, but they pressed the wrinkles into the fabric making them creases. They even somehow managed to dog-ear the collar. read more

THE WORST CLEANER I'VE EVER BEEN TO. I dropped of a cotton material shirt and a pair of cotton materials pants. There are random creases everywhere and looked like they were not even washed. I went back and he said "cotton materials are the most difficult work with". The clothes took 4 days to get them done although they weren't done properly. I end up going to another cleaner, they said the cotton material is the easier to work with. The other cleaner got the job done perfectly in just one day. Legend cleaner also forgot to give my ribbon back from my blouse and he said it's my fault that I didn't tell him in the first place that there was a detachable material. I've been to cleaners for many years and never had to notify them about any detachable materials. Shitty job and shitty attitude. read more

Why would you be in a business where customers bring you their most expensive clothing and garments, when you have trouble working a press? Because I am a big man I have to wear custom made shirts and my suits are always tailored to fit me. I invest in my appearance and I'm willing to invest in the maintenance with the dry cleaning of my clothes on a weekly basis. Legend cleaners on South Durango Road ruined three of my custom French cuff shirts. The most latest, and LAST, order I picked up from them was pathetic. The quality of work was half assed and there attention to detail was non-existant! When confronting management about my first damaged shirt, all they offered to do was a discount on my next order. TO ALL MY PEOPLE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY OR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CLOTHES THERE UNLESS YOU WANT THEM TO BE RUINED. I drove up on a rainy day (drive through door) and the guy immediately came out and opened my back seat door to take out all my garments. He quickly processed them, asked for my name & # (First time visit) and clearly showed my total $ plus what kind of stuff I dropped off. I love their POS with a real receipt and barcode on it, quicker & efficient. Love that they aren't afraid of technology and did away with those written carbon papers with a tear off ticket I always seem to misplace. There's another dry cleaner literally walking distance, but I saw negative reviews on rudeness and that's one thing I don't stand for. $1.75 vs. $2.50 I rather pay more!
