Chris and David came by to check on a potential leak in my garage ceiling. While here they quickly determined the source of the issue in the existing plumbing, made the repair and set me up to detect any future leaks given that its all relatively recent plumbing throughout the house. They were professional, arrived on time and completed the job quickly. Where they go above and beyond for me though, is that they noticed work that had been done by a previous plumber on my hot water system, explained to me that it was incorrect and suggested a fix for it. Indeed I pasted pictures of this work on reddit and quickly got a breakdown from several other folks explaining why the previous work was faulty. Overall, I appreciate that attention to detail, and that they were able to squeeze in the additional work. The price for everything was very reasonable. Legend Plumbing and Drain completed a big project for us. David and Chris are experts in their field. They replaced our galvanized pipes and drains. The pipes were corroded and clogged, leading to low pressure water. This was a difficult project, but they completed it quickly. What I was most impressed by is their attention to their clients' needs. The biggest item they replaced was the service line. They arrived early in the morning and left late at night so they can restore water to the house. But in order to do that, they had to work endlessly without any breaks. We noticed a big difference in the water quality and pressure. The water is tasty and crystal clear. We can turn all the fixtures on and the pressure would be on full blast. They replaced some of our fixtures and flushed our water heater as well. We feel very confident in Chris and David's ability and were very fortunate to have discovered them. Fantastic quick and beautiful job by David! He cleared my fully stopped up bathroom sink and completely redid an exterior gutter pipe drain to tie it in with an existing sewer line so that it would not longer drain too close to our foundation. The exterior pipe drain was something I had been trying to get fixed for a year, and every time I had other plumbers come out to give me a quote they refused because it was a job that would require making custom pipe parts and some creativity. David and Chris showed-up a bit earlier than the expected time (we liked that) and tackled two problems. The first was a 20-year old toilet that needed refurbishing and the second 20-year-old bathtub/shower fixtures that needed overhaul. While we "had them" we decided to throw in the kitchen sink and have them add the replacement of a kitchen faucet to their task list. They needed a number of parts and set off across town to buy them. Though the bathtub/shower problem required carpentry work, they completed all the work that day. In the evening we noticed a problem with the new kitchen faucet - a manufacturing defect, not their workmanship. They came back the next day, verified the problem and set off to get a replacement unit. Unfortunately, after installing the replacement, we saw that it exhibited the same defect. They called the supplier and verified that a higher-end unit was available which they once again set off to secure. After returning and installing it, it worked fine. Even through they put in a higher-end replacement unit and spent a few extra hours making things right, they did not charge us anything extra. We were completely satisfied with their service and their friendliness and would not hesitate to recommend Legend Plumbing. read more

As a homeowner of 30 years, it's rare to find contractors and plumbers providing service beyond expectation. Owing to a happy series of coincidences, I recently had the real pleasure of working with Legend Plumbing and Drain, as represented by Chris Johnson. The attentiveness to details and conviction in resolving what was an epic drain clog (likely built up since our 1998 purchase of property) was everything this homeowner could have hoped for, but sadly too often finds lacking in other plumbers. With Legend, there was no second guessing estimates initially made at the first sign of difficulty or of "returning another day" to finish an especially unpleasant - and household disrupting - job. Rather, the work - while difficult, time consuming and decidedly unpleasant - was performed quickly and methodically, as was the cleanup.
