Their service was priced competitively and communication was excellent throughout the process. Most importantly, they truly care. They took what could have been a nerve-wracking process and made it feel effortless.

I since had an HVAC company come out for something else and mentioned I had to change the heater recently. I told him what I paid and he said that was honestly a good price. Excalibur seemed honest and helpful and they were able to come out first thing the next morning and get my heater replaced. They did a good job and the new unit looks better installed than the original. They also gave me advice on how to maintain it and what maintenance I could do myself to descale it etc so it doesn't break again. Overall happy either way the service even though overall it was expensive it was still less than other quotes I got.

Cons: Very scammy pricing This is a slick organization, and by slick I mean kind of corporate and slimy. The plumber that came out was nice and fine, came at exactly the scheduled time and was done with the work quickly. No problems there. But the business operation is very scammy, and "discount" it is not. If I had it to do over again I would have trusted my gut after the first phone call and moved on to try to find a local, independent plumber. I used yelp to find someone to fix a broken garbage disposal, and literally less than a minute after submitting my request I got a yelp message, a text, and a phone call from Discount Plumbers. On the phone was a friendly fellow offering to schedule a free appointment to look at the problem and give me a quote. It didn't take long for me to realize the guy on the phone was AI. That made me realize this was a large, corporate organization, not a local plumber. In spite of my misgivings, and because I didn't want to waste a lot of time, I agreed to the appointment for the next day. As I mentioned, the plumber arrived right on time and was very nice. As I had already determined via my own investigation, he told me the disposal needed to be replaced. He tapped some things into his iPad and came up with a quote of almost $700. I asked him for a breakdown of parts and labor, and he was unable to give that to me, trying to make me feel fine that the amount would cover everything. I asked him what brand disposal he would be using, and I looked it up online to find that it could be purchased for $150 at home depot. I asked him how long he thought the work would take, and he said 2 hours, which I figured meant the labor charge would be around $250/hour. As it became obvious I was skeptical, he offered a 10% discount. Since I didn't want to take the time to find someone else to come out, I just went with it. The work took 30 minutes. I just paid someone $1000/hour to replace a garbage disposal and feel pretty stupid. The icing on the cake was when he showed me a broken O-ring and said he would be giving me a new one for free. Ya think???

Sure enough, about a month later the water heater went down completely and started slow leaking. I messaged Luigi late Saturday night and he got back to me immediately and told me to call the next morning. I felt bad calling on Sunday morning (it was Father's Day), but he called me back and booked Jude for the next morning. Within an hour of Jude's arrival, I had a new water heater up and running, a new 6 year warranty, and the price was reasonable too. I'm glad I replaced it for peace of mind and very pleased with the prompt and professional service.

In my case, I have quite a story of having to go five days without hot water because the unit I received was defective. The day after the install we found the tank had shut down. After a reset and restart done over the phone with the installer assisting, the unit failed again, a short time later. The next day which was a Saturday, another technician came out to swap out a heat sensor which appeared to be the problem. While changing out the part, the tech noticed that insulation near the assembly had burned, and ash was present. He vacuumed it out and restarted the unit. It made a horrible noise, and he spent a half an hour on the phone with the manufacturer tech support trying to diagnose the problem. The noise eventually went away and he finished the repair. Unfortunately the machine shut down again after we got one warm shower. I called on Sunday, and explained that I was no longer comfortable with the unit being in our house and I wanted a replacement, of a different maker. Without hesitation they agreed, and Monday morning, after acquiring a, more expensive model of a different make from a supplier, we got a replacement installed, at no additional cost. These problems are rare, and not the fault of the installer. I could not have asked for a more timely and considerate treatment as a valued customer of this business.

I reached out to this new plumbing company and I'm really glad I did! I had a sink that was clogged and decided to give this new company a chance. The nice young man came over as soon as he was available and was kind enough to explain what he was doing when I asked him questions. He gave me the peace of mind that this issue was going to get fixed right away. He brought all the supplies needed to fix the sink clog and because of him I can finally use my bathroom sink rather than my tub or kitchen sink to brush my teeth or wash my face. He left everything looking brand new and the sink worked way better than even before it was clogged. If you are in need of any plumbing work, big or small, I would give Pinnacle Plumbing a chance! Not only was the lady on the phone very nice, but she understood the urgency of the situation. After quickly collecting information about the situation, she let me know that a plumber would be able to come that day, in about two hours. I was so relieved. Then, something even better happened. About 20 minutes after I booked the appointment, the plumber himself called me and asked if he could come by in 30 minutes - a full 1.5 hours ahead of schedule! I agreed, met him at the place, and he assessed the situation quickly and professionally. He diagnosed the plumbing issue, made a recommendation on how best to fix it, gave me a price, and got to work. Within another hour the problem was fixed. I had a great experience with F&A Plumbing and would absolutely go back to them if any other issues ever arose.

The issue was no hot water coming out of shower of my tenant's apt. As a property manager that has dealt with this issue in the past, even I knew what the problem was. So Alex came out and said I had to not only replace the cartridge but the valve system as well bc it was rusted. Tenant thought it looked fine. Plumber gave an estimate of 1900.!!! I immediately said NO WAY! I think with the rest of the reviews maybe they took the estimate at face value and not knowing about plumbing issues just paid for it and was happy with the service! My experiences made me question that estimate! I hired another plumber and I told him the exact problem to repair saying I had this issue before on other apts I managed. And they fixed it for $ 385.( which is reasonable but still slightly higher, but I was tired of getting another estimate). So see the BIG difference I save over 1500.!!! So just a caveat, don't go with your first estimate blindly. Second, I ONLY go with FREE estimates, pay by the job and not the hour mostly.
