Basically I've been going to this Legends since I could walk and my family was very close with the manager Maria for almost 10 years, and since she's "left" everything seems to have gone downhill. It doesn't feel like home cooking anymore it feels like a commercialized fast food place, smaller portions of the chicken, different recipes for things like the chili, and the RANCH is different (the pride and joy). There is no longer any reason to come here now that there's been a clean sweep across their demographic of workers, change in food style/production/recipes, and overall taste and experience. Rip legends, rip the best ranch around (soup plantation is already gone) and rip to Maria and the wonderful line of her diverse coworkers including Hispanic cooks and cashiers who used to run the show, I hope they all found better places to go and I'm sad that Legends is considerably ruined :( read more

Disappointed with new ownership and food quality. There is a Legends only a block from where I live but I wont go there any longer. The food is no longer the quality it use to be and they don't take responsibility for menu items not being priced correctly on their menus. So, I decided to drive the other Legends located on Mountain Ave for breakfast yesterday. Ordered the bacon and egg plate. What a mistake! The only thing that I could stomach were the eggs. The hash browns were not completely cooked, the bacon was like rubber and the toast tasted old and stale. They use to provide a nice fresh breakfast, slice of cantaloupe as well as their fresh salsa. This is no longer the case. It's sad because I use to eat at Legends (The one near my house) and the one on Mountain all the time for breakfast. I will no longer go there. We have been looking for a really good burger place ever since Jim's Burgers sold and the food quality has gone downhill badly. We decided to try out Legands as we had heard good things about them. My wife and I decided to each order the mushroom cheeseburger and an order of regular fries that was enough for two people. The burgers tasted really good, were not dripping of sauce or grease to make them soggy but did lack enough mushrooms for us to wonder if they gave us the correct burgers. The fries were hot and crisp, not soggy. Although we typically do not like chain burger restaurants, this was a really tasty meal and well worth going back to explore what other options Legands has to offer. read more

I have had Legends a few times, and the first time I had this for food was quite some years ago (2000 time frame). I decided to come here agin with my wife, and she enjoyed the food. I ordered her the zucchini fries and the gyro. which she stated was delicious. I ordered the chili fries and a burger and the portion sizes were enormous. We had to share the fries because of how big they were. Although I have read some unfavorable reviews about the food or service, I have not had problems concerning either of those items during the times that I have visited. read more

It's been a while since we came out to Legends to eat. How my family and I missed their delicious fresh food. My smallest son missed their delicious grilled cheese sandwich, and I missed their crispy, delicious bacon cheeseburger, not to mention their seasoned fries. They did a good job of packaging the food for you to take out, Incase your going to eat in the car. The one complaint I have is that they sealed the fries so well to keep them hot, that the steam from the fries made them really soggy. As much as we love the fries, we also love them crispy. I'm going to guess not to many people like soggy fries. As far as the restaurant, the dining room is still closed off with yellow tape. I didn't see any particular outside seating at this Legends location, but I do know the Rancho Cucamonga location does, although there aren't any umbrellas or canopies outside. Please support all your local establishments so that they can survive this pandemic and we have places to go after this is over. read more

I usually order the kids meals because it's huge and I can never finish or chicken strips combo if I'm sharing because their portions are ginormous! Having been a customer of Legends for nearly 10 years, it is frustrating to see the transition with the new management team. I am all for change when a company is growing and improving, but in this case, they are going the way of a bad Gordon Ramsey restaurant show. First, the quality is going down and the price is going up. As an example, they used to make their own ranch dressing. Now, it is a sugar laced commercial white goop. The mushrooms which used to be good are now best described as cheap flavorless trash. What tops the new prices are the pastrami sandwiches now being MKT price. WTF is market price on a pastrami sandwich? That is a joke. I don't care how bad Biden has screwed this economy, when the Hat and others have premium pastrami for $10 to 15, Legends can post a price on the new LCD menu. Worse yet, is Legends pastrami is like chewing on an old 70's genuine leather belt rescued from Goodwill. The person with a pulse that cooked the meat on my burger had obviously used the spatula the press every last ounce of flavor out of the patty. There was nothing good about our meal. When is comes to service, don't expect a friendly staff that is capable of comprehending English. It took two people to take my order and then a the level of rudeness completing the transaction was beyond annoying. My friend that asked for half of her order to be provided after we were done was prepared all together. And, they d don't deliver to tables anymore. Cleanliness wise, the restroom reeks of urine and the toilet has issues flushing. It was dirty and had gang signs carved into the toilet seat and written on the walls. In the end, the new management was a downgrade. When I think it was Maria was there, the staff was friendly, food was good, and store was clean. I have given it three different chances, but it consistently is bad. The last time we went, I had a long string of floss in my tuna melt, my husband got a BLT that was tiny, made for a child, the pastrami was extremely dry and the fries were soggy. we will not go back.
