We didn't make it there with her until dinner on Saturday, October 25, 2025, during our subsequent visit to Sin City. LEMONGRASS is supposedly the first exclusive Thai restaurant in a Las Vegas resort on The Strip. No longer the only one, it remains as a premier destination for Thai cuisine within the vivacious setting of the ARIA Resort & Casino. Standing out for exuding elegance, LEMONGRASS' sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere captivates diners with an exquisite blend of contemporary design and warm, inviting décor. The visually appealing interior enhances the dining experience, making it an ideal choice for both special occasions and casual meals. Serving a modern interpretation of Thai cuisine, LEMONGRASS' extensive menu specializes in a wide variety of authentic dishes with a blend of traditional fare filled with robust flavour and creative takes on fusion dishes with modern twists. The restaurant elevates traditional Thai cuisine with every artfully plated dish designed to dazzle, making it a must-visit for any food enthusiast. The menu has opulent dishes on offer, such as GREEN CURRY MAINE LOBSTER ($170), an eye-catching dish with a whole Maine lobster sitting in green curry sauce, CURRY DUNGENESS CRAB (MP), a stir-fried whole dungeness crab with chile paste and yellow curry powder, and ALASKAN KING CRAB LEG ($135) cooked with x.o. & black pepper sauces. A prominent high-end option, prices are on the steep side, but you're also paying for the handsome setting...as well as the generous portion sizes - I have never before seen such plentiful dishes at any other Thai eatery. Diners looking to share or indulge in a hearty meal will surely be satisfied here. The restaurant, enrobed in cool wood and bamboo accents, also slings an exciting program of cocktails that make for refreshing sides to complement the spicy flavours. Sisa and Z ordered a couple of HOUSE SPECIALTY COCKTAILS at $22 each, the WATERMELON SPLASH and the PINK LEOPARD respectively. Both drinks were enjoyably vibrant, but Z's PINK LEOPARD was the most preferred of the two. After our courteous server provided personalized recommendations, we ordered a few dishes: DRUNKEN NOODLES (BEEF $25) - These flat, wide rice noodles stir fried in a savoury, umami-rich basil sauce picked up all the spices they were cooked with. Chewy deliciousness. RIBEYE STEAK WITH TAMARIND SAUCE ($38) - The medium rare meat was perfectly cooked and enhanced greatly by the tropical sweetness of the tamarind. The menu features Five CURRIES with a choice of BEEF, CHICKEN, DUCK, SEAFOOD or VEGETABLES and STEAMED RICE OR BROWN RICE to round out the thick, stew-like comfort food. We picked the GREEN CURRY (CHICKEN $26) with STEAMED RICE. This was seriously the biggest bowl of curry I have ever been served, EVER. The chicken pieces were also tender and the creamy, coconut milk-based green curry sauce was velvety rich. BEEF BRISKET NOODLE SOUP ($28) - The bowl was staged with the heads of bok choy purposefully arranged in a ring around the rim with the braised beef brisket floating in the center. Z loved this soup, but I was not a fan of it at all. SOFT-SHELL CRAB FRIED RICE ($40) - Presented with the fried soft-shell crab sitting atop the traditional rice made for a striking visual element. The rice was also delightfully full of lump crabmeat. MANGO STICKY RICE ($15) - In contrast to the MAIN COURSES, this classic Thai dessert was served in the typical small portion serving size that I am used to seeing at all other Thai restaurants. The perfectly ripe yellow mango slices were melt-in-your-mouth soft and sweet. The warm glutinous rice, generously drizzled with a luscious coconut sauce and sprinkles of toasted sesame seeds, was satisfyingly chewy in texture. Service at LEMONGRASS is seasoned with kindness and a quiet attentiveness; with its gracious hospitality and thoughtful, gentle pacing, the wait staff ensures that both newcomers and familiar faces feel incredibly well taken care of. After learning that we were celebrating Z's birthday, our waitress served him a complimentary scoop of Thai tea ice cream, topped with a lit candle. I had stopped by Blossom across the way on a previous trip, and the meal I had here was okay. Was actually considering trying something new there but they are closed on Tuesday/Wednesdays so I veered to the right over to Lemongrass. Checking out their menu prior, they did offer a few things that sounded appealing, and I also noted they do mobile takeout for this specific restaurant at Aria (not all of them offer this). I did have a couple questions regarding a couple of the items and quite frankly, Lemongrass was somewhat difficult to get through to due to their hours (no one was taking reservations prior as some places do prior to opening). I had to call at 5p, and a friendly girl helped me out. I placed the mobile order as I was walking over, and within a few minutes after arriving, it was ready. Sesame chicken ($24, spice level: 0) was really good! Basic and to the point, it's white meat chicken in sesame sauce with the prerequisite sesame seeds on top. There is an option of adding on jasmine rice at no extra cost, but I went with the coconut version ($7) which I really enjoyed (and I'm not even a big coconut fan). My family and I had a wonderful dining experience at Lemongrass during our stay at Aria. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to add our names to the waitlist and get seated in about 45 minutes. Considering how busy Las Vegas restaurants can be, especially without reservations, that felt very reasonable. Once seated, we were given a spacious booth that was perfect for our family. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations on some of their most popular dishes. We started with the potstickers, vegetable egg rolls, and tom yum soup, and every appetizer was flavorful and delicious. I enjoyed a cup of jasmine tea served with honey, while my daughter had her green iced tea. For our entrées, we ordered the shrimp pad Thai, chicken pad Thai, and yellow curry. We also ordered individual portions of rice, including the coconut rice, which was fantastic and complemented the dishes perfectly. To finish the meal, we shared the Coconut Dream dessert. It featured layers of coconut rice, coconut ice cream, mango, various jellies, and a drizzle of condensed milk. If you're a coconut lover, this dessert is a must-try. If you want to eat Thai food in a nice place, then this is the spot for sure. However, if you want great Thai food, then do some research and grab an Uber and head off strip. The food here is just OK but know you're paying for the fact you're at the Aria. The Lemongrass Old Fashioned sounded wonderful on paper, and had about as much flavor as paper. It was poorly made (look at the crap ice/drink ratio) and tasted like plain whiskey in a glass. The only flavor came from chewing on the piece of lemongrass in the drink like a Bangkokian Rabbit. The Green Curry was pretty good with a nice creaminess to it. The shrimps were a decent size too. The Catfish Delight was good as well, but you definitely need to like catfish (which I do). It had a nice spice at a level 1 (I didn't want to ruin it, but could have gone to a 2) and a ton of basil, which was nice. Service was just OK with a lack of water refills and visits to the table to check in. In a nutshell, I wouldn't go here again. The Thai cuisine is incredibly authentic, paired with top-tier service, and the prices are surprisingly affordable. I absolutely love this place. Every dish on the full course meal allows customized spiciness. We ordered seventy percent spicy for the tom yum soup. It tasted mild at first, yet I later regretted not choosing fifty percent spiciness instead. I initially hesitated to order mango sticky rice as I was already full, but I decided to give it a try. Its authentic flavor is unparalleled, and you would definitely regret missing it. It brings an instant sense of being in Thailand. The restaurant is located on the first floor of the hotel lobby. Advance reservations are required. The interior is elegantly decorated with soft dim lighting, creating my ideal ambiance. I went to Lemongrass in Aria for the first time on my most recent Vegas trip, and it's now one of my favorite spots there! It's a very nice, but not over the top, Thai spot, that is perfect for a date night or intimate meal. The aesthetic is perfectly fitting and the service is spectacular! You have to start with the satay grill when you go; the flavors are fantastic! Both the pad thai & the sesame shrimp were delicious, and the portions are great! Both of the cocktails were very refreshing, the pink leopard was my favorite! Lemongrass is located inside Aria which makes it convenient if you stay there. The service was okay. They were friendly but did take quite awhile to take our orders. The ambiance is dark inside and it's nice. People dress casually. The food was okay. Some was good but overall, it wasn't anything special. I have had way better Thai food for a quarter of the price. Ambiance is beautiful, food is good but the service is terrible. We had dinner and probably sat from 7:30pm till 10:30pm and water was served twice: once when drink order was taken and one more much later and that was it. Waiter never came back to check on our food or drinks till at the end of the meal. We had the Yum woo seen salad which was delicious. The shrimp Tom Yum soups was good, had good depth and flavors. The chicken basil was ok and so was the Train Fried rice. No photos since we were too busy chatting. This was also why I didn't wave down the waiter for more water like I normally would have. We walked to Aria Resort and casino from Vdara hotel. Even the parking garage is a bit of a walk so being dropped off by a ride share is better and will put you quite close to Lemongrass Thai restaurant. The Thai decor is really cool and the restaurant layout is comfortable. The staff was friendly to us. They have a separate room in the back for private parties available for rent. There is a small bar with bar stool seating. We ordered Thom kha gai soup and that was excellent. In addition I ordered pineapple fried rice which they served in a carved out pineapple. It came with a generous amount of shrimp and I loved it. The thing which tied everything together so I will say it is a must order is to get the coconut water with Thai foam $8. That blended so well with every bite of food that it enhanced the flavor and had a refreshing charge leaving you feeling satisfied not bloated . One specialty drink we sampled was the Thai old fashioned. They made it with a Japanese whiskey and spicy Thai bitters and it had a nice finish. The restaurant location is located next to the aria high roller tables so often times there is a constant smell of cigars blowing into the restaurant. The first time I ate here I was seated further inside the restaurant so it wasn't noticeable, but this time I was seated closer to the entrance and the smell was really bad. The staff was very kind and understanding; they moved me further I to the restaurant when a table opened up. The food was very good! It was expensive but the portion sizes were good for sharing and I was happy with the quality of ingredients. I've never had soft shell crab fried rice! I had a phenomenal experience here at Lemongrass. We had a group of 10 come in celebrating a birthday. The servers were amazing and helped with recommendations and helping us with whatever we needed throughout our meal. Our server was very attentive and helpful. As for the interior, it was decorated very nice. Proper lighting allowed for amazing photos to be captured as well. Everything was well kept, clean, and well maintained. I've heard great things about Lemongrass, including from my dinner companions. Unfortunately, we may have just hit a bad day. First, this is a beautiful restaurant. Located on the main floor at Aria down the SkySuites Hallway, the dark wood feel of the restaurant was very pleasing to the eye. Sadly, this is where the superlatives stop on this visit. We had satay and larb for appetizers. Note, when they're not busy, they can replace pork for the chicken in the larb... but today was a busy service so we couldn't (which I almost wish I hadn't been told). The dish would've been just a bit more fatty (in a good way) if we had pork. One thing I will say is that you should know your spice tolerance and if unsure, err on the side of less here. For entrees, we had the Pad See Ew with beef and the Panang Curry with duck. Pad See Ew was good but not fantastic. I could've used a little more wok hei on the noodles but it was a perfectly acceptable dish. The curry is where it went a little wrong. I love duck, I love duck in curry... something wasn't right with the duck this night. The curry was delicious.. we went very low on spice so you could taste the curry and coconut well, but then you get to the duck and there was just a weird funk to it. We couldn't put our finger on it, but it was either sitting out a bit too long (and possibly was precooked). The best I can describe it was as if it had a freezer burn taste. So I liked the panang.. but I'd definitely not do duck if I were to return. When we brought it to our server's attention, she apologized and asked if we wanted something else, so I will give them credit for that. Of course we were happy to see they didn't charge us for it. But aside from the empathy shown for potentially bad food, our service was not what i've come to expect from MGM Resorts restaurants. I half expected a manager to come over and apologize for the curry and check in, but nothing. From sitting down our server didn't seem too interested in helping us either. To celebrate our auntie's 70th birthday, our party of 9 made a reservation at 7:30pm on Friday evening. We received a warm welcome from the host upon our arrival. The interior was characterized by a casual and sophisticated ambiance. Som Tam, Shrimp | Combination of shredded vegetables, mainly papaya, was juicy and refreshing. The sauce's combination of tangy, sweet, and slightly spicy was enough to awaken the palate. Crispy Veggie Rolls | Rolls were fried to crisp with a light amount of wrapped vegetables. Although the rolls were small, they were enough to warm up our appetite. Stir-Fried Garlic Vegetables | Vibrant green vegetables, such as bok choy and Chinese broccoli, were cooked well making it an excellent side dish with its soft and crunchy texture. Drunken Noodles, Seafood | Wow! Thai basil really made a difference in this bold and savory dish. The wide, flat rice noodles gave a pleasant chew. Soft-Shell Crab Fried Rice | Topped with battered soft-shell crab, the fried rice was mixed with a generous amount of shredded and chunks of crab! Garlic Shrimp | The shrimps were cooked well, firm, but not too rubbery. It also contained chopped vegetables and the garlic sauce. The garlic taste was present, but not as powerful as anticipated. More garlic could have been added. Ginger Chicken | Chicken chunks were tender and juicy. Mushrooms tasted mild, adding additional texture to the dish. The ginger flavor was almost absent, it wasn't noticeable. Panang Curry, Duck | Wow! The curry sauce alone was sufficient! The lychee was unexpected, but surprisingly went well with the sauce. This dish contained a substantial amount of meat slices. Fried Flounder | I can see why this was my mom's favorite dish. Breaded and fried to perfection. The fish was thin, soft and flaky with a very satisfying crunch! Menu: A variety of Thai cuisine, such as curry, noodles, rice, soups and seafood. Service: Excellent! Our server was kind, accommodating, and most importantly, very patient with our party. My family brought 2 birthday cakes for auntie. Our server was happy to accommodate our request by slicing each cake and serving it to all of us! Parking: FREE up to 3 hours with a valid Nevada Driver's License (except during special events). Lemongrass' food is ridiculously tasty. The portions are very large for its price point, and its flavors are masterfully crafted. I couldn't stop smiling as I feasted upon their creamy, spicy Panang Shrimp Curry ($30). The real champions of Lemongrass are these talented, hardworking chefs. I had a 7PM Reservation for Wednesday, and I was immediately seated. The location was extremely busy from a nearby convention. Staff appeared almost overwhelmed, and it definitely affected the service. Our waitress arrived mechanical and fatigued. She appeared unenthusiastic and businesslike in the beginning, but as the customer load lightened, she began to act more friendly and happy. I empathize with the situation, but our knowledgeable waitress' service was the lowest point of our experience. I ordered the Watermelon Juice ($9.50), Pineapple Fried Rice ($30), and Panang Shrimp Curry ($30). The food arrived in 14 minutes and 52 seconds. (Quick Tip: Lemongrass has 10 Spice Levels. Level 3 is considered Jalapeño Level Mild. Concerning "mild," it's fairly strong. Be very mindful of the spice levels.) Regarding the food, it's exquisite. The food is extremely delicious and largely portioned. I wholeheartedly recommend the Panang Shrimp Curry. The Panang Shrimp Curry contained red curry paste, coconut milk, ground peanuts, plump shrimps, and lychee. I had chosen "Spice Level 3." This creamy, spicy curry is served in a deep large bowl, and I adored how the spiciness didn't detract from the dish's well-composed flavors. The seasoning, ground peanuts, and coconut milk flavors really shine brightly in this dish. The curry also has that perfect, satisfying consistency. Most importantly, they are also generous with their very plump, freshly cooked shrimps. The Pineapple Fried Rice is also tasty. I enjoyed this rice's natural sweetness. Its shrimps are plump; the cooked cashews are perfectly soft; the pineapple chunks burst with juice when bitten into; and the diced Chinese Sausages had a light, enjoyable sweetness. Regarding the Watermelon Juice, the beverage is very refreshing but it's not unique. This fresh juice is very chill despite having no ice, and the juice is successfully strained from all its pulp; however, this beverage felt overpriced for the amount served. Regarding ambiance, Lemongrass is charming. The decor is sleek; the location is well-ventilated and very clean; and its music was fairly quiet. However, Lemongrass can get loud quickly since its echoey. With all the echoey customer chatter, it was very difficult to hear my table companion speak. Overall, Lemongrass offers extremely delicious, well-portioned food. The food prices are easily justifiable since Lemongrass contains such talented, hardworking chefs. We ordered six dishes and shared it among four people. The portions and quantity of food was decent. Their service was excellent, hostess and servers were very friendly and welcoming. Our waitress Bookie took care of our needs but she was quite busy serving a handful of tables during the dinner rush. Inside the restaurant is a bit dark and had a natural foresty vibe which I can appreciate. Their pricing is also fair considering it being on the Las Vegas strip. My sisters and I visit Las Vegas about four times a year -- it's a quick flight from the Bay Area -- and we almost always stay at Aria or Vdara. Lemongrass has been a go-to for us every single trip, dining in or ordering takeout two to three times per stay. The food is genuinely delicious: flavorful and authentic -- not watered down. For a hotel restaurant, that's saying something, and it kept us coming back again and again. Which is exactly why our most recent experience was so disappointing. We always order our usual dishes and request Thai chili with fish sauce on the side - a simple condiment that pairs perfectly with the food, especially since the kitchen rarely delivers on the heat we request. On this visit, our server informed us there would be an upcharge for it. A few dollars. For what amounts to a tablespoon of sauce served in a small sauce dish - the kind of tiny accompaniment you'd find at virtually any Thai restaurant at no extra cost. Imagine being charged for a splash of soy sauce at a Chinese restaurant. Same idea. Let that sink in: a few dollars for a condiment at a luxury Strip hotel. Not a specialty ingredient. Not a premium add-on. A small dipping sauce. I was genuinely taken aback. In all of our visits over the years, this had never once been an issue. But beyond the surprise, it's the principle: at a world-class property like Aria, nickel-and-diming loyal, frequent guests over a trace amount of condiment is simply beneath the standard guests expect -- and pay for. This is the kind of policy you might reluctantly accept at a fast-casual counter, not at a polished restaurant on the Las Vegas Strip. We haven't been back since, and won't be until this changes. I can't believe Lemongrass is still at Aria. I am glad that it is. It some of the best Thaj I have had in Vegas. We came on a busy Friday night. We did not have reservations since this was a last minute trip for the Bruno Mars concert. They had quite a long wait for a table so we decided to eat at the bar. We had the Pot Stickers and Cucumber Salad. I was surprised how crispy and tasty the pot stickers were. I was not expecting much from the Cucumber Salad but it had a delicious kim chi taste being fermented in sugar and vinegar. We shared the Larb. We got a spice level of 8 out 10 and it was too spicy for my wife but I loved the spice level. The Larb came with a wedge of cabbage to chew on after your mouth was on fire. We also decided to share the Singapore Noodle instead of the usual Pad Thai. This was a tasty noodle dish that contained thin vermicelli noodle, quite a few vegetables, shrimp, and pork. It was the perfect combination. The atmosphere is buzzy and can get loud with the noise from the casino. The service at the bar was phenomenal and might have even been better than sitting at a table. Our drinks came up very fast. The food was delicious as I remembered in the past, This is one of my favorite spots at Aria. We will definitely be back. read more

This restaurant can be popular in the evening. Instead of waiting around to get a table, reservations can be made. You can make a reservation on OpenTable. The portion of each entree is big enough to share. The Pad Thai with chicken was good. It was slightly sweet, salty and nutty. The ribeye with tamarind sauce was so delicious. The sauce balances the sweetest of the coconut rice. The sauce was slightly spicy and citrusy. Do not sleep on this dish. The chicken wings and the crab puffs were alright. There is a bit of a wait in getting your food. Even though there was a wait, I really enjoyed the Pad Thai and the Ribeye. So try it out! read more

Staying at the Aria, we decided to eat in the room and ordered from Lemongrass. We received a notification when to pick up. We ordered the chicken basil and the vegetable fried rice. The vegetable rice was actually quite different than your typical fried rice, with unique veggies like asparagus and tempura mushrooms. All of the food was delicious. Just the right amount of creamy or crunchy, sweet, spicy, or savory - everything delighted us. I would recommend the pot stickers, cucumber salad, and chicken satay appetizers, along with the garlic shrimp, pineapple fried rice, yellow curry with chicken, and pork belly with Chinese broccoli entrees. It's been awhile since we ate here but I'm just catching up on some of my reviews. First and foremost, the restaurant itself is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the food wasn't very memorable for being in Vegas. We ordered tom kha with chicken added, Singapore noodles, yellow curry with chicken added, and mango sticky rice. The food tasted good but not amazing. For the outrageous prices for these dishes, I expected higher quality. Many of these dishes you can find cheaper at a regular Thai restaurant. Came to vegas again in couple years. Stopped by Lemongrass and the server, Rachelle was super kind to us as she took our appetizer and orders. It was heavy waitlist / queue but thanks to reservation earlier on, Got to get in easily and enjoy the environment of low lighting and the quieter than usual surrounding noises. Everything went very well from the host to the server. The portions are on the larger side so keep in mind to come with a big appetite. The restaurant was very busy but the food came promptly. We always come here in Aria when we come to Vegas. It's always a must for good Thai food. Our favorites are the yellow curry and basil chicken. Their pad Thai is one of the best; tastes fresh with the fresh bean sprouts and doesn't taste oily like sometimes pad Thai can taste too saucy. My colleague and I were finishing up a conference in Vegas, and wanted some dinner before our flight, and Lemongrass was a fantastic choice! The ambiance reminded us of White Lotus - and we were seated promptly at the bar. I would say it's a bit hard to find in the Aria, so please ask for directions if you can't find it immediately - it's near the casino floor and hidden behind a walkway. We only had two dishes, the basil fried rice with beef, and the Panang Curry with chicken. Both were great choices! The panang curry also came with lychee, which I thought was a very unique choice. To my surprise, the flavor of the lychee with the curry was amazing! Definitely something I wasn't expecting, but a welcomed surprise. The basil fried rice had a great kick, and had the traditional flavor profile I was expecting. Prices were also affordable, highly recommend if you're staying in the Aria! read more
