I experienced a new cafe today that was suggested by a friend who frequents the establishment. For my first time, this is a great place. The staff is very social, very humble, and so welcoming. They really go out of their way to help you decide on what to order, and their suggestions are comforting when you want to change something, including ensuring you are happy with your experience. The cafe has a calm, welcoming vibe. It's intimate. I ordered an almond chicken wrap and the staff suggested an chai banana smoothie, both of which were/are absolutely delicious. Just ordered a wonderful Greek salad took them a while to prepare, but you could tell it was made with love and it had so many healthy ingredients and a wonderful salad dressing. Yesterday had lunch there and it was a Chicken wrap which was fresh and looked and tasted real good ! I had the Chipotle Chicken Panini and the Caramel Frappe with extra caramel. The sauce for the panini was really good but the panini needed more flavor. I absolutely love the caramel frappe. I hate to leave this review but I hope to save others from wasting their money on the new burger menu. I ordered their deluxe signature burger for $12.00 and it was maybe the worst burger of my life. I much prefer the 3 hour old, premade burger from a gas station. I really enjoy Lenise's breakfast and panini's but they need to stay out of the burger market. They proved to me that they don't like hamburgers or they never would have served me the one that they did. read more

A really low quality experience. From their super-cheap utensils and plates to their toilet paper thin napkins to their meager portions, this place SCREAMS tightwad owner. There MIGHT have been a whole teaspoon of shredded cheddar on my ham and cheddar crepe, but I'm probably being generous. I had to repeat my order four times to the order taker, each time telling her to charge me for two drinks and I'll come back for the second one. When I did, she told me that she had only charged me for one. As I left, that same order taker came out with a plate of potatoes heaped up with five times as much cheese as my ham and cheddar crepe had. Presumably it was her breakfast. The patio is ok, but you couldn't pay me to come back here. read more

V's French Dip was sparsely populated with Beef slices w/cheese and was served on a kaiser roll that was burnt on the bottom - ruined the sandwich. My Greek salad was not the best in the world - it was pretty weak for a Greek salad - large chunks of cucumber, a ton of olives, feta and pepperocini peppers - really? Oh, and did I mention the wait. The prices for this place are obscene. $7 for a latte with oat milk. Also ordered a sandwich previously that was outrageously overpriced and had hardly anything in it. You can tell they use cheap and low quality ingredients for the food. They also added some sort of "service fee" to my bill, not sure what that is for. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the owner is nice and it is the only local cafe in the area. Someone else should open a cafe in Southport to give this place some competition. read more

the French Dip panini came highly recomended... what I loved was how the cheese stayed melted and creamy the entire time almost like a Philly Cheesesteak (that's what happens with "panini" style). the au jus was the perfect amount of hot and salty, had to dunk every bite into it... once I took my first bite of this exquisite sandwich, I went Full Crazy and mau'ed the whole thing without even snapping a picture to post in this review... next visit I'm trying one of their breakfast burritos! read more

Great little local spot that really seemed to put a lot of attention to the foods they make and offer. Tried out a half-order of their Greek salad and a Mediterranean omelet for brunch. After eating the Greek salad first, I actually found myself completely satisfied and saved the omelet for later even though I had originally meant to be consumed as part of my brunch. I haven't had a good Greek salad and this had to be one of the best I've had in a long while. It tasted as good and fresh as it looked. Just delicious. I eventually got to the Mediterranean omelet and I really loved how it was put together. Another excellent dish. I do have to note that I was a bit surprised with the cost of their coffee even after the lady said their coffee was good. This isn't some crafted coffee drink, just a normal brazilian brew served from a self-serve airpot. $3.36 or something around that. Sorry but this is a hard pass. Go to your nearby Starbucks for a venti drip of your choice for $2.65. At least that brew is worth your coin and you get a caffeine kick to boot. Outside of this minor issue, the food is great. The restaurant seems to be run by a gaggle of nervous teenage girls. Took 40 mins for two small dishes. As you can see, they decided to toss the the croissant into a volcano for an extended period of time before bringing it out. When the food came out, the girl dropped it off without saying anything and walked away. Didn't even bring utensils. Neither of us had anything with avocado on it yet there was avocados smeared on the bottom of the sandwich and on the paper as you can see. Guess who's allergic to avocado? DO NOT SUPPORT THIS RACIST CAFE!!!! I thought this was a cute little cafe super close to me and it would be nice but I was absolutely wrong! I came in a few months ago(I've been debating on writing this review since I never have) and a few black people were inside of the cafe talking. I'm not sure of too much of the exchange as I sat outside to eat but they were asked to leave and the person who was working behind the counter took a hose and hosed them and told them to leave. Regardless of what happened which I know couldn't have been that terrible (because I had barely started eating. There is literally NO REASON to hose down anyone to leave some where. Figure out where to sit and your order will be called out. You can pick it up at the counter and they will even help you bring everything to your table!! My friend and I decided to order two different sandwiches split them so that we could try more than one sandwich. My BLT was delicious. Mmmmm....crispy bacon, turkey, avocados, and fresh tomatoes!! Love the simplicity of a summer sandwich!!! My friend had the chicken pesto wrap!! Holy Cow!! That pesto made that wrap burst with flavors!! YUMMY!!! You'll want to become a regular here after one visit! I've been wanting to check out this place for about a month & it did not disappoint. Service 5/5. Everyone immediately makes you feel welcome, like you're a regular. Food & drink 5/5. I started with a chai Frappuccino with a banana blended in (which I would never have though of doing) and it was so yummy in today's 106 degree heat. Then I tried the pot stickers & mozzarella sticks with a glass of sauvignon blanc. I left with a blueberry loaf for breakfast tomorrow, which Lenise baked herself! Pumpkin and chocolate chip loafs were also available and it was definitely a tough choice. The variety of food and drinks is amazing. There's a great happy hour too. Stopped here for lunch and ordered it via phone for pick up. Needed a new lunch spot and the reviews/pics look good. My friend ordered the Chipotle wrap and I got the chicken mozzarella crepe. It was VERY tasty and reasonably priced for less than $7. My friend enjoyed her wrap so much that we ended up returning 2 days later which is saying a lot for her. She never wants to go to the same place twice in one week. Service was super friendly. Easy check out. Food was done was promised.
