    Vanilla Cream Latte
    Shay K.

I have given Leora a couple of tries now, and both times they messed up my drink order. I'm one of those people who apologizes for everything, even when I didn't do anything lol, but the most recent mishap really threw me off. I was handed the Vanilla Cream Latte without any cold foam. For context, I had this drink a few weeks before, and the entire reason I went back was because the pistachio cold foam is amazing. The coffee itself is pretty meh, but the cold foam makes the drink. I kindly got the barista's attention and said, "I'm so sorry, but I noticed my drink didn't have the cold foam and it's my favorite part. Would it be possible to get some?" The guy said, "Oh," and swiped the drink away. I watched him struggle to remove the can-style lid, then dump some of the drink into the sink. That was already a bummer since everything had mixed together, so he was pouring out part of the actual latte. I assumed he was making room for the cold foam and was going to leave it alone. Instead, he grabbed a new cup and absolutely FILLED it with ice. I thought he might be multitasking and making someone else's drink, so I kept waiting. Nope. He took my original drink and poured some of it into the new cup packed with ice, leaving about half of my original drink behind in the other cup. He then started putting cold foam over the small amount of coffee he managed to fit into the ice-filled cup and was about to seal it. I quickly asked if that was my new drink, and he said yes. I again said, "I'm so sorry, but you're dumping out half my original drink and a lot of the coffee / caffeine that was mixed in. Would you mind remaking it?" He seemed so annoyed. He didn't say anything and started remaking it. What happened next was even funnier. The remake initially looked normal, but then I noticed he left around 40% of the cup completely empty. Another barista came over and asked what it was. He handed it to her and said something along the lines of, "I guess her drink didn't have cold foam, so she made me remake it. She wanted cold foam. Give her cold foam." And he laughed. And they proceeded to fill the remaining 40% of the cup with cold foam lol. So here is the photo of my approximately 60% latte, 40% cold foam. Honestly, I doubt I'd go back. The drink was a special being removed from the menu at the end of the month anyway, part of why I wanted to grab it again to enjoy once more lol. But it's wild, and also kind of funny, how petty the staff seemed over a customer kindly and apologetically asking them to remake a $9.87 latte they made incorrectly. I'm genuinely curious how they react when someone is rude about it, especially given the prices. That isn't even the most expensive coffee on the menu lol. I'd at least expect to get what I paid for though. Yikes. It definitely gives tourist trap vibes, and I guess it's gained popularity because the Biebers go there. But I'm pretty certain they aren't acting that way toward, or messing up, Justin and Hailey's orders haha. Don't worry--you can also spot them at Community Goods just as often, and their staff is friendlier there!

Let me start off by saying that my visit today was extremely disappointed. I waited 35 minutes for my food. My drink order was incorrect and I watched over 25 uber/ pick up orders get done and only when I threatened to leave was my ordered fulfilled. I came because I was interested in the summer Fridays collaboration, but was disappointed in the service. The blond guy filling orders was nice, but it's ridiculous to wait over 30 minutes for a single dish, especially when I ordered in person rather than online. I ordered the summer fridays latte, and they gave me the lemonade. I had to give him my receipt for the drink to be made correctly because they didn't believe me when I said it wasn't right. Then I waited another 25 minutes, checking in every 10, for my food order. I ordered the shakshuka, I was actually pretty good, but definitely not worth waiting as long as I did for it. It was frustrating that it took so long, especially since other pick up orders, like burritos came out so quickly.

Stopped in right when they opened to pick up the Summer Fridays lip balm. I got my coffee to go so I didn't sit down and was in and out super quick! The service was absolutely amazing, the cashier and servers were kind and informative. This collab is awesome value, $10 in exchange for a $24 lip balm and a latte!! I got the vanilla latte from the exclusive Summer Fridays menu, which is a vanilla latte with pistachio cream on top. I got the vanilla lip balm and a travel size Jet Mask and the pink bag. Super cute! Love how their drinks come in a can for portability. The coffee itself was okay, the vanilla latte isn't super sweet, but the pistachio cold foam was yummy! There were also bits of pistachio on the bottom. Overall, pretty good. This cafe is beautiful and has awesome service - will be back to dine in.

Came by for brunch and thought it was a solid spot! Leora is cafe tucked in a building off Beverly Hills Civic Center Drive. We had made a reservation ahead of time since it tends to get busy. Service was efficient. I tried the breakfast burrito and frozen matcha (half sweet). The burrito was yummy and the frozen matcha was not bad, although the matcha quality itself was just okay. We didn't feel rushed per se, but we did get the sense they were waiting for us to head out once we finished so they could open up the table. One fun detail we loved was how cute their takeout bags were! Parking in the nearby public garage (2 hours free) or street parking.

[what we got] Tuna Melt Sandwich Shakshuka Smoked Salmon Bagel Garlic Fries Frozen Coffee I keep hearing this place from everyone so I finally tried it! This place is located in the back of a building so it was a little tricky to find at first, and is very small. Most of the seating is outside and we waited around an hour on a Monday afternoon. The Tuna Melt was super crunchy on the outside, but soft on the inside and super delicious! I also never had a shakshuka before and I also enjoyed that. The fries were thin and crispy but definitely a smaller portion. The coffee are put in a cute can and tasted like a Starbucks bottled frappuccinos, and didn't seem to have a lot of caffeine in it, but for $11 it was not worth it. It's missing the 2 stars because of the price and the location could've been a better place (only like 3 tables for indoor seating and was really hot outdoors) We didn't realize there was a Summer Fridays collab and we didn't buy any of the qualifying drinks but still got a jet lag mask! promo: Los Angeles! Visit LEORA to try their three collaboration drinks inspired by the indulgent scents of our Body Collection: Frozen Pistachio Matcha Pink Guava Lemonade Vanilla Crème Latte you'll receive a Lip Butter Balm + deluxe samples of our skincare bestsellers when you purchase one of our collaboration drinks.* Plus, this weekend only (July 31 - August 2)! The first 200 guests who purchase our collaboration drink each day will also receive a jelly tote + a travel size Body Butter Balm, available in Pink Guava, Pistachio Milk or Vanilla. $$ (~$20-30) parking garage is free first 2 hours

Stopped by this location because of the summer Fridays collab. I ordered the guava lemonade (which I hope they plan to keep on the menu longer than this month.) because it was delicious! It was fresh, right amount of tart and sweet and I loved it so much I went back twice! The staff were helpful nice and welcoming and with the amount of chaos occurring in such a small tight space, they handled it with ease and grace and I had a pleasant experience. If you've never been this place is hard to find even with signage posted. The have plenty of metered parking and the space is quaint with seating indoor and outdoor but with a collab as big as summer Fridays, it can really be overwhelming trying to fit over 200 people along with accommodation for normal staff wanting to eat in. I plan to return and try other items on their menu.

Came for the Summer Fridays pop-up brand event on a weekday shortly after they opened and thankfully it wasn't busy at that time. I tried the frozen pistachio matcha with raspberry puree and I enjoyed the drink. While the flavors were fun together and I liked the unique ice blended version of a matcha, the ceremonial grade matcha essence got a bit lost and was also a bit too milky. Service wasn't the warmest; the employee at the register said that I couldn't get a Summer Fridays product if I ordered another drink for my friend while she was at work, which I was a bit bummed about since I saw online that others were able to get a product per drink from their collab menu. Price was also on the steeper side ($13 before tax and tip, ended up around $16 total), but can't really complain since it's free beauty goodies. I was given the vanilla lip butter balm and a mini jet lag mask! There is free parking for a couple of hours in the nearby parking garage (make sure you double check because there are some paid ones close by also). Finding the cafe was a bit tough since it's kinda hidden away, but follow the signage! I took my drink to-go, but they have cute indoor and outdoor seating options. They have free WiFi, but enforce a no laptop policy during lunch time. Overall, I was happy to come for the event, but am not particularly eager to return for their drinks.

    Would definitely come back

It's a cute casual spot, they have indoor and patio seating. I tried to tuna melt and would get it again, but if you're not a tuna fan, you may not be impressed. I tried the iced coffee which was good and got the frozen Matcha to go. It was good but I could get better elsewhere nonetheless I would definitely come again. It's a good vibe. Customer service is good!

Super cute spot in Beverly Hills for brunch and lunch. Everyone was ordering the tuna melt, so I had to order the tuna melt. The fries were yummy- very thin shoestring fries. Lots of Mediterranean options too. I wish I could have tried more things. The tuna melt is just the sandwich and does not come with anything else. The house made sourdough was real good!

Leora captures the essence of LA good and bad with its laid back cafe style, over priced coffee drinks, and food offerings like avocado toast. This is not meant to be a negative review, just simply trying to capture the vibe of the place. I think their canned coffee concept is definitely unique and such a cute idea. Flavor wise, the coffee was better than average, and the packaging really sold it for me. However, the spot was pretty crowded, more of a trendy place rather than a forever go-to coffee spot for me.

Hidden besides what looks like a corporate office, not super big inside for the amount of people that want to sit. Park at the nearby Beverly Hills police parking lot first two hours are free, Came for Summer Fridays collab to get full size lip balm with drink purchase. Holy expensive and mid drinks nothing special. Sounded potential like frozen pistachio matcha slush (which was so artificial matcha powder tasting) and generic latte (w crunchy bits of coffee grounds) and guava lemonade with barely guava flavor. Would not be worth if not for the makeup freebie. Maybe food is yum but quite crowded on a weekday we didn't want to wait 45 min for a table at 3pm. I guess vibes are good tho if u looking for that sunny aesthetic LA core, tables and interior are nice. Service was OK too.

I have never visited their actual cafe in Beverly Hills, but I have tried their frozen coffee before at an event and the coffee tastes so good! When they announced their collaboration with Anine Bing and you can order their signature frozen coffee/matcha and special collab drinks at Anine Bing store on Melrose Avenue, I decided to go and have a look! They did a pop-up inside the store, and they also set up a few seatings outside. It's pretty quiet when I went on a Sunday, everyone was taking pictures in front of the Paul Smith's pink wall as always lol On their social media, they said they offer sweet treats besides the drinks, but they didn't have food when I was there. I ended up trying the mint chip frozen coffee. The presentation is so pretty and it tastes delicious! Although I paid $12 for this, I still think it worth trying just for once!

Super trendy and cute spot! the matcha was alright, and the acai bowl was good. Service was good and friendly. The matcha was very watered down and didn't have a great flavor unfortunately!

Aesthetically pleasing to look at, even more amazing to the tastebuds as the warm espresso plus the occasional coldness from the 1 large ice cube they place at the bottom of the cup. They also sell a few pastry items here such as croissants and matcha donut. I opted to try the Matcha donut, which was moist and has a spongy texture. It was not sweet and had a subtle matcha flavor. The line can be insane, but we somehow lucked out and there was no wait on a Saturday ~6 PM. This was my first time at this location, and while it was fun being in the middle of Beverly Hills, the drinks and service weren't what I expected. The staff was fairly impatient (despite us being the only customers in the store) and seemed annoyed to provide recommendations to my family who had never tried HeyTea before. We got 5 drinks: triple matcha, brown sugar bobo, king jasmine guava, coconut mango boom, cloud jasmine. All but the king jasmine guava were either bland or extremely salty. The king jasmine guava was easily the best drink we got, but it had mostly a guava taste and very little jasmine. I've never had this experience before at the other locations, so I want to assume they were just having a really off day... All that said, it's Beverly Hills. Even the most popular places can be hit or miss depending on the day. While I was disappointed in this visit, I wouldn't mind giving it another try if I had a craving and was in the area. There's a few stools to sit on, but this is mostly a grab and go spot. Note on parking: there's some street parking in front of the store, but it can be tough to find an empty spot. There's a couple paid garages/lots on the block, and we were able to get free parking since we were there after 6 PM.

They seated us right away for our reservation. My mom and I love high tea. We try a new place about twice a year. This place is stunning. The food is okay. I appreciated that my mom and I each had our own stand since most places do two of everything and place on one stand. The tea was good. It is a bit pricey - $135 per person for afternoon tea, an additional $65 per person for unlimited champagne. My mom & I both had the afternoon tea, she treated herself with the unlimited champagne and a $24 caviar bite which was so small, I would consider it half a bite. It was still worth a cute picture and my mom said it was delicious. The tip was included in our bill and was a little over $400. The servers are attentive and checked up on us often. I will say there is limited seating and although it is comfortable, it is a bit awkward. I would come back here for the aesthetics and look however as for food and traditional high tea, most likely not.
