They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! I had already packed about 99% of my stuff, so they mainly needed to wrap furniture and box a few larger items I didn't have boxes for. They worked fast but were extremely careful. They loaded the entire truck in about 3.5 hours, which was impressive considering I was moving from a house to a house and had a lot of furniture. The unloading in Las Vegas was even more impressive. They finished in about 2 hours, including putting two beds back together. One of them was a heavy Sleep Number bed with the base, and I honestly don't know how they managed to get it down the stairs in California and back up the stairs in my new house without a scratch. No damage to anything. Rob was the lead on the crew and did a great job communicating the whole time, asking where things should go and making sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. The whole team was friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. The price was also very fair for the distance, especially compared to other quotes I got. Overall, this was one of the least stressful moves I've had. I would definitely use TopCare Movers again, and my brother is already planning to use them for his move in May. Highly recommend.

At my previous apartment, we stayed for a while to make sure everything was going smoothly before driving to our new place. When we left, the crew appeared to have already moved the majority of our belongings out. It took us about 40 minutes to drive to the new apartment, plus another 20 minutes to get settled and make sure our cat was safe. An hour after we had left, I received a call saying they had just finished loading the truck and were only then heading to our new apartment. Given how much had already been completed before we left, that timeline didn't make sense to me and left me questioning how efficiently the remaining work was being done. Another frustrating part of the experience was that, at both the pickup and delivery locations, the movers repeatedly asked me where they should park the moving truck. I don't drive commercial moving trucks, and I hired professionals because I expected them to know how to handle those logistics. I was also told that if they received a parking ticket, I would be responsible for paying it, which I found unreasonable. Once they arrived at the new apartment, the pace continued to feel unnecessarily slow. There were multiple trips carrying only one or two small items at a time. Eventually, my partner and I started helping unload our own belongings because we wanted to get the move finished. We also noticed several bathroom breaks throughout the job, which only added to the feeling that the process was taking much longer than necessary. The final interaction left a bad impression as well. I fully intended to leave a tip for good service, but before I even had the chance, one of the movers repeatedly asked for cash after I had already explained that I didn't have any. Being pressured for a tip at the end of an already disappointing experience felt unprofessional. Moving is already stressful, and I hired professionals hoping to make the day easier. Instead, I left feeling that the job took much longer than it should have, communication was poor, and the overall experience did not justify the cost. I can't recommend this company based on my experience.

WARNING - Don't use this company. On July 13 They quoted $85/hr for two men and a truck for a three hour job for Aug. 20. I had a short window to deliver a load to a freight terminal on that day. The quote was in writing sent by text. when they came to pick up the load the contract was now $115/hr. If I didn't sign it they would leave and my load would not get shipped. so I signed and the load was delivered In the estimated three hours. When I contacted the office to correct the rate and get a refund I was told by a no name person that they had increased their rates two months ago. Not true, and at no time was I notified that the rate would change. Then I was told I shouldn't have signed the contract. This company knew I was on a tight deadline and took advantage of it to increase the rate at the last minute without giving me any option to find someone else. I will be following up with BBB and doing what I can to see that these people lose their license Which according to another reviewer, they already have. DON'T USE THESE PEOPLE. After they refused my request for a refund of the overcharge and I posted the above, they came back with this We can refund $100 Just to erase the bad reviews Send me your link Venmo or zelle I would rather leave the review and help you to see how they operate. Movers were good. The issue lies with Jorge and his communication. I initially called and booked Less 4 Movers about a week an a half before the date and was told my 3 movers would arrive at 12 for a 3hr job( $355 12pm-3pm). Jorge called the day before to tell me movers are are to arrive anytime between 12-3. Wasn't stated in original conversation but thats ok. The day of, I got a call at 1pm saying they are running late, that if I wanted 3 movers it wouldnt be until 5 or 6pm. WHAT?! But they could send 2 movers in 45/1hr. Im really just wanting to move, so I agree. Movers didnt show up until almost 2hrs later. We were quoted $240($80/hr-2guys) but was told it would be $255-ok, no biggie. By the end of our 4 hour move, how do we get to $425 being the total!!!! They kept telling us it was a 4 1/2 job- which still doesnt add up to $425($85 per hr w/3 hr minimum. Each 1/2hr after is $45. So I call Jorge to go over pricing and he tells me $383. But movers said no. After much battle, we pay $400 to be done. AFTER... Jorge Repeatedly text me racist remarks. This was a HUGE scam. They first came 30 min late and with a 3rd man when I paid for two. They told me if I paid more per hr for the 3rd mover they would be done faster Which should have been my first sign. They quoted me $80 and he originally. They took 3 hrs to move a 1 bedroom apt with 10ish boxes, queen bed, living room, 2 TVs. I live 5 miles to a storage. When we got there they held my furniture in their truck until I paid in full which magically became $700!!! They charged me double the hrs b/c of "travel" from their facility to my apt, storage, and back. They would not release my belongings until I paid in full. Please do not use this company. This is a HUGE scam. The workers we polite but seemed nervous once they were about to introduce the NEW price. I should have requested a $$ within the quote but everything said "estimate" which is where I went wrong. I called the MGR and he was very calm yet demanding of the money or else he would not release my belongings. This was a horror. read more

I used Movers for our Apartment move in June 2017. Initially I had scheduled for an afternoon service but changed my mind to get it done in the morning and they agreed even though I called just one day before. The next day, they were on time at 830 am. These guys are highly professional. They know what is to be done. All I needed to do was show them what stuff was to picked and where to be dropped. All my furniture including glass table were well handled and placed securely into the new apt with proper care. The only issue I had was even if they passed 10 mins into the next hr, they charged for the whole hr. The best way to avoid that is have everything packed and ready to go. But, that is ok. The movers (Albert and Luis) came exactly on time, were efficient, and provided excellent moving service. Plus the price for the moving service was very affordable and within our budget. Thank you to this company as there are not a lot of moving companies out there that still provide quality moving service at affordable prices. Jorge was great and always answered or texted when we called. We normally don't give reviews but this one we had to give for the quality moving service and very affordable prices. I needed someone as soon as posible, a friend who moved less than a month ago recommended me this company, but after reading some reviews here i wasnt really convinced. however, they were the only ones that were available the day i needed to move out. the price seem fair, plus i trust my friend, so i went ahead and hired them. they got there on time, ok only 15 min late, but that wasnt really a problem. these guys handled everything with care, they were really nice to me, got the job done sooner than i expected it,and pretty much made my day because i was really stressed about getting out of that appartment on time! I was given a window time of between 12 & 3 and i received a call at 11:30 that they were on their way. They arrived at 12:00 with two guys Sergio and Manuel who were outstanding. This company is completely unprofessional. The employee was drunk, argued, and yelled when his mistakes were pointed out along with not completing the full time paid for. He aggressively harassed me to pay half way through which is their way of scamming you in getting away with doing a bad job. I called the police since he was the one driving, also called & texted the company to report it while it was happening yet they didn't answer or respond since they got paid. They make you pay cash or Zelle even though it says credit card accepted on their website. This company will scam you and give you a horrible experience, give your money to someone else. read more

Most pleasant movers I have ever worked with. Not only was this move more than $100 less expensive than our last move using a competitor, but the 2 movers who helped us were friendly and very efficient. The fees are easy to understand and there is paperwork explaining it all so you don't have to worry about hidden fees at the end of the move. The movers were quick and offered to do several small things that we hadn't asked them to do, but really helped speed our move along. Sergio and his team completed my move on Friday and they were excellent. I was shocked at how fast they were able to get my 1 bedroom apartment down 2 flights of a fire escape and into my new house. The service was amazing the movers were able to pack, and protect my furniture immaculately by wrapping with plastic wrap protecting it Etc. The only controversy was the start and stop times of when the actual moving started. One of the movers was trying to say that the time was earlier than it really was but the other mover corrected him just like I was trying to. If it had not been for the other move or siding with me there would have been a problem but I do plan to use the service again I will just make sure that I pay attention to the arrival, start and stop time. read more

I moved to the 2nd floor and man they took that stuff right up. My bed had to b broken down to fit in my house. Not only did they work hard on my bed but they also re build it for me. Today we moved from West Hollywood to Santa Monica. We have a 2 bedroom and have a lot of stuff. Miguel and Simon did an excellent job and were quick! They packaged everything well and nothing was damaged. It took 8 hours (as expected- last time we moved we had 3 guys and took just as long...different company). They brought tools and took apart our furniture. They wore their masks the entire time and were very friendly! We're honest in their prices and timing. I used LESS 4 MOVERS for a recent move. They are GREAT!!!! The movers were very professional, yet friendly, and they work very fast. They were able to get me an appointment with less than a weeks notice and they were flexible with time slots. I had to move stuff out of storage after four years of storing. It was my dad's stuff who passed away four years ago. When I moved it in storage the moving company are used did a great job wrapping and packing in the 10 x 10. I was a little apprehensive in getting another but was very happy with my ass for movers. The two workers were very careful and very pleasant. They took instruction with no problem. My garage is where the stuff in there and the workers placed it exactly how I wanted it. read more

Less 4 Movers provided excellent service and exceptional customer service very helpful. They packaged everything up tightly, delivered on time and in a reasonable amount of time. Very reasonably priced!!! Just exceptional I will use again. I recommend to anyone looking to move. I used the service and move from one county to the other it was the best experience in moving I have ever had in 30 years!:the men were on time they were quick they were efficient they were kind they were courteous and the price you are wasting your money with anyone else two men two moversv26 ft truck and no mileage charge are you kidding me?I made sure those men received a hefty tip they were wonderful we were done in 90 minutes and that's going to another county! read more

The last moving company I used, we gave them $200 each. They earned it -- we didn't have to help at all. They were constantly going up and down the stairs and never disappeared for an extended amount of time. These movers would've received a similar tip if they didn't keep disappearing, causing us to help. To add, I never found that "missing" box of movies.

When I contacted Josh, I told him that I would be moving within the week and I would like to have 3 guys to help me move since I needed to do it between a certain time so I can still drop off my daughter and pick her up on time. He was able to FaceTime me and check out my apartment to let me know if it was possible and he said that he can make it happen. So this moving company will do everything for you. they will pack all your stuff for you if you need it. They provide everything boxes, tape, wrap, and blankets to protect your valuables. The day of the move LUIS, FERNANDO, and JUAN came. I had already packed the majority of my apartment in boxes because I was planning on moving everything myself but there was a few things I didn't box up and they were able to do it for me. I have a two bed two bath apartment and they were able to grab everything and load up the truck in two hours! I swear these guys hustled! They wrapped my dresser, tv stand, tv to protect it from damage. When we got to my new place (which is about an hour and a half away) they also were so fast and efficient. And they finished on time for me to go back and pick up my daughter. Thinking about my original plan I don't think we could've done it safely and efficiently like they did. Now I wouldn't want to move any other way! I get so worried because I hear horror stories about your belongings getting damaged but I promise you won't regret this moving company! I was told by Andrea at Monster Moving, I would receive a system cancellation email, it's approx 2 weeks and still no confirmation of the cancellation just a verbal conversation with her. But When I booked the appointment she took my info, payment & I received confirmation immediately via email. Why can't I receive a cancellation notice as confirmation immediately? I was also informed by her my $150 deposit was not refundable because it's the company way of holding the appointment in case I go somewhere else. That's an odd policy, it's like I'm being forced to use them. Most moving companies have a refundable policy within a short specific period. Fine whatever keep the $150. All I need is confirmation of the cancellation, I do not want to be charged for a service I no longer need. This company is a scam!! Also google the address listed on google 19232 Beach Blvd Huntington Beach CA, it comes up as Joeys Auto Service. I also read another review where someone mentioned the same. My fault for not researching this company before putting a deposit.
