Two guys came over to move a 2 bedroom condo. They were polite, very efficient, quick. I would refer them.

Listen to Jeff. Called these guys for a move and got a price on the phone. When they came the price was going to be double. They had no packing material for moving after being told they would. All they had were some blankets and a white truck with no signage. When questioning them about the changes the guy said he had to go talk to his partner. Next thing we knew they drove off and left. There went our move for the day. Had to call a "Real Moving company" for the next day to accomplish our move. A real nightmare. Consider them the "Hit and Run" of moving companies. read more

I don't want to even give this so called company one star!!! This was the third company I called to get a quote for moving. I found their ad in the local PennySaver and thought I'd give them a call since their prices were so low compared to everyone else, I figured why not, they're licensed, insured and bonded right? WRONG!!! I went to their website to look them up and they showed a "Weekly Moving Special" of $57 per hour which included gas, mileage, insurance and taxes...great deal right? Well then the rather rude man (notice I did not say gentleman because he was far from it) proceeds to tell me it's a minimum of 2 hours and that will be $136.00...I then asked him how is it $136.00 when the ad says $57.00 per hour EVERYTHING included...the phone goes silent and then the disconnects....so I thought. I gave him the benefit of doubt and tried calling back...disconnect again! And third times a charm...hangs up on me again!!! How this place is in business at all beyond me! I give them 1 star for honesty & integrity. Out the gate I got charged for time completing the paper work that was not itemized with any costs. I was charged 1.5 hours more after 1st being informed by the phone dispatcher that my 3hr flat rate would cover my 3 total shops and even though it was a total of 3.5 miles, I would be charged double drive time and anything beyond my 3hrs would be prorated per 1/2 hr. When I asked what that meant I was told that it would come out of my 3 hrs flat rate. I agreed because I knew that with the amount of things I had to move would be within the 3hrs. When the movers came, the story was different and the head mover said that I could call the boss. Here we go!! We have a time situation and I need to go on and move. I was a cash paying customer. If I continued to squabble I would lose more time. My move was actually a light move but it was complicated by moving a few items out of one storage space that I could not move on my own, picking up things from my small office, and then a total unload into a new storage space, again, 3.5 total miles, not even 30 minutes of drive time. The deal I learned at the pick up was that I had to pay at the unloading point. That's it. No extra details. What ended up happening is they have your furniture as hostage. More squabble time comes from my time. He tried to tell me that it was going to take 1 hr to unload me and that he had to add an additional 1.5 hrs to my move for that and that the 3hrs flat rate was only the labor charge. He was pulling excuses from the air to try to cover his rate. Another secondary plot now to get more money. I gave him $210 for the initial agreed upon rate. I waited until all my items had been safely unloaded and stored to finalize everything. I could have not paid the extra cash but I did. In the end it took a total, completed 3hrs to the minute. I was in my flat rate time to the minute. I didn't mind paying an extra charge of .5 hrs or up to 1 hr, but an extra 1.5 hrs!! The head mover was still unable to give me the itemization of the total charges, why he took it up to 1.5 hrs more versus 45 mins to 1 hr, and he began to become impatient and upset when we finished to the minute. I was willing to provide a nice tip to both guys. And..., the movers were great!! I would call the guys again but not the company. So the end of the story, the lack of honesty & integrity caused them a well earned tip to the movers who deserved it and any future work. The boss got their moving ability tip. Great movers, they came with all equipment ready to go. They were quick and efficient. Will use them again.

Jorge did contact me the day before to confirm my appointment on 6/25. He does speak fast and rushes you off the phone. My scheduled time was between 12pm -3pm. The movers called a couple of minutes after 12pm to let me know they would arrive within 40 min. Signed the waiver of how they are not responsible for pretty much anything. The two guys moved very fast and loading up seemed pretty quick. The unloading of the truck, not so much, it went over the 3 hours which ended in extra charges. When I paid the extra fees with the credit card and the mover had to call Jorge. Although he was speaking with him in Spanish (which I fluently understand) I could tell that Jorge said something negative which the guy I was dealing with kindof laughed it off. Not very professional. Once I started to look around I noticed these items. My white sofa had a black mark on the arm, my apartment door was scratched and there are some nicks on my walls. My furniture did arrive in one piece. However they need to be more careful about where they lean the dollies and how they manoeuvre around doorways. Plus they should cover the sofas. read more

I was in the process of calling around to find a moving company when I came across an ad they'd posted on Google. I called the number listed and mentioned the ad to see if it would still be honored. Next, I asked the guy that answered the phone if they were licensed and insured. Apparently that wasn't a question he liked being asked, because the moment I asked it, he slammed the phone down and hung up on me! I called back thinking that there may have been a mistake, and someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up on me! When I called back a THIRD time to try and get some clarification, it went to an answering machine. I left a message I indicating that I was looking for a moving company to help me move at the end of the month, but never heard back! I will NEVER call them again, and I would encourage everyone else to look elsewhere! You NEVER want to hire a company that isn't bonded or insured! read more

I called these guys on 2 occasions. First time to book a reservation. The first person who picked up some limited English. I wasn't comfortable with him, so I called back a few days later to confirm my move date. I spoke to Enrique and confirmed with him. A couple of days before my move, I called again and spoke to Enrique, who didn't have my reservation on file. He said he'll call me back and never did. Showed up over an hour and a half late with no communication. The two guys who moved us were very nice and receptive of what we asked. I would recommend for the price but due to the lateness I had to give 3 stars because I got concerned they weren't even coming and was freaking out since they didn't let me know what was happening. This was my first time using a moving furniture company and properly my last so I called less 4 movers I scheduled a 9am move driver didn't show up until 12:57pm and started the move at 1pm moved all my things to the next location and unloaded all my things when the driver noticed they cracked my tv screen he told me to take a picture and contact the office which I did that day and the following day no one called me and then when I got someone one the phone he would never give me his name just said that this is a family owned business and that his brother would call me and tells me that they would pay me on the weight of the tv which I have never heard of such of thing not only did they damage my tv other furniture items as well no personal person would never not give a customer his name and not only refuse to do anything about your damage items I hope others look into another moving company before working with this company or family owned business the worst read more

I've had to move my daughters four times in the past two years as they have transferred from different colleges and cities in Southern California. I've done the smaller moves myself and rented the trucks, etc. But these four moves were big ones so I hired professional movers. This last move was the most challenging. My daughter had to be out of her apartment before the New Year so I only had one day to schedule the move. We were moving from an apartment on the second floor in Marina Del Rey to a condo in Century City. The elevator in the condo building was broken and because of the Covid delays, they had not been able to get the necessary parts to repair it. The condo was on the 4th floor! I had a time crunch because I was waiting to see if they could repair the elevator in time for the move because we had a large sleeper sofa that was very heavy and many other large and heavy items and I didn't believe the movers would be able to carry them up the stairs. On Monday I was informed the part for the elevator came in and that the repairs would start on Tuesday but would take all day to repair. Since I couldn't wait any longer, that Monday morning I called several moving companies to get a quote. I told them about my situation and the broken elevator. Two companies would only do the job if I hired three guys at a very high hourly rate. One company that I committed to failed to send their agreement to me on Monday as they had agreed, so when they didn't come through, I contacted Less4Movers. I had contacted Less4Movers a week before and had arranged, with Jorge, for them to do my move but had to cancel when the elevator broke down. I thought they might be upset with me because I had cancelled the prior job so I didn't contact them initially. I was desperate so I contacted Jorge again and he remembered me. I mentioned to him that the elevator was still in disrepair but that there was a small chance it might be repaired by Tuesday afternoon. Jorge at first said his movers were booked for Tuesday and asked if I we could do the move Wednesday. I told him I had to do it on Tuesday. He told me he would check with his movers and see if he could help me out and would call me back. After about 10 minutes, Jorge called me back and said they could do the move but it would have to be in the afternoon. Jorge gave me the best rate for two movers of any of the companies I contacted. I didn't sign any documents that day as it was all word of mouth and I was a little concerned because all I had was Jorge's word that his movers would show up Tuesday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon Jorge called me and told me his movers were delayed and would arrive about an hour later than we had scheduled. Sure enough, Jorge kept his word and the movers arrived as Jorge had promised and I breathed a big sigh of relief. It was two young guys, Edwin and Edgard and they were friendly and professional. I mentioned to them that they would have to carry the furniture up four flights of stairs because the elevator was broken and they didn't flinch! They didn't waste any time and immediately assessed what had to be moved, they brought up their equipment and began to wrap the furniture in plastic wrap. I was amazed at the speed with which they worked and they had a whole system to move the items efficiently which included taking as many items as the elevator at the apartment could hold, so as to cut down on elevator trips! After they loaded everything into their huge truck, they took off to the condo and told us they would meet us there. My daughter and I were still moving some items that we wanted to move ourselves so we were a bit delayed. Edwin and Edgar arrived at the condo about 10 minutes before my daughter so they had to wait to be let in. I got there a little later and they were already moving items up the stairs. The sleeper sofa would not fit through the stairwell from the garage entrance so I thought we would have to leave it in the garage until the elevator was repaired at some future date. Edwin and Edgard looked around for a solution and found a side door to the stairwell that was large enough for the sleeper sofa. They managed to get the sofa up the four flights of stairs! They moved all of the furniture up to the condo on the fourth floor and they were done much faster than I anticipated. When it came time to pay them, I was surprised that the total amount was much less than what the other movers had quoted me for the MINIMUM THREE HOUR MOVE! The entire move, including the travel time, was done in four hours at the best rate of any moving company. I am a lawyer by profession and know how to do my research. I did my research on moving companies and Less4Movers is the best I could find. I do not want to move again, but if I do, I will call Jorge and use Less4Movers again! Edwin and Edgard were great! I typically only write positive reviews for small companies and businesses that go the extra mile for their customers and consumers. However, I feel like it is necessary to warn others like me about these movers. Everything seemed to go off without a hitch. The movers arrived on time, they were very friendly, and they were great workers. The problem came after they left. My husband discovered a few of his sentimental (and expensive) items missing and contacted the company to see if hopefully they just fell out in the moving truck. The company was less than helpful. The person answering the phones basically said it wasn't his problem and gave my husband a fake number for the mover to ask him about the missing items. Since the move, about three weeks ago, I have had the opportunity to unpack my things and have discovered several items of my own missing, including but not limited to, a brand new pair of Nikes, two pairs of very expensive Louboutin shoes, a small Louis Vuitton bag, our baby monitor, just to name a few. The items taken were small enough to not be missed right away. It is disheartening to say the least. Most of our valuables were secured and transported by us. However, I never imagined that we would have to transport EVERYTHING of value ourselves, including shoes; why else would you hire movers? Lesson learned, obviously. I would not recommend using this company if you want to transport anything of value, as it may get "lost" aka stolen between locations. Our move locations were within 10 miles of each other and we lost a few thousand dollars by trying to save money using this company. read more

Horrible!! The guys were late! They told me they'd show between 1-4 and I was really starting to wonder. I finally get a phone call at 4 saying they got held up and we're on the way. Didn't show up til 4:40. Ridiculous!! They started moving everything super fast and super rough. The scraped my couch along the popcorn ceiling and just acted like they didn't do it. My daughter understands Spanish and said they were saying a bunch of vulgar stuff. They treated my stuff like it was junk. They put tape over my standing jewelry box I guess to hold it shut. It wasn't tape safe for that so it peeled the finish off but of course I didn't notice until later. I did not feel like my stuff was safe at all. I didn't trust these people at all. Do not let them near your stuff!! Oh and the icing on the cake...they charged me for 4 hours. They arrived at my old house finally at 4:40 and left my new house at 7:30 and charged me for 4 hours. This is wrong!! This company SUCKS!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I wouldn't trust them to take my old clothes to the goodwill!!! THEY RIPPED ME OFF! read more

Well, this move couldn't have been any worse. Not only were they late, they damaged one of my pieces of my furniture during the move, they damaged dry-wall in the house I'm renting, and people, watch your stuff. When it came time for payment, I noticed that a large amount of cash was missing from my wallet. I live alone- no pesky kids or husbands getting in to my wallet- therefore I was alone during the move process. I withdrew money the morning of my move and it mysteriously went missing during the few hours the movers were there. So, I didn't leave any "gratuity" for their move because they got enough from my wallet. This company IS cheap, but you're going to get a cheap quality move. They caused damage to my furniture, the house I'm renting, and they (no questions asked) stole money from my purse. Moral of the story- you get what you pay for. read more

You get amazing service for a lower price. 2 great guys showed up at our house, on time and worked their tails off for us. We were in our home for 23 years so you know it's a ton of stuff. They were careful, courteous and professional. They helped us tear down and set up. I couldn't recommend anyone more than Less 4 Movers. Do yourselves a favor and give them a call. Watch out for these guys. I sent them a detailed listing of the items to be moved, and they sent me a quote for $500.00-$700.00. But in the end, they charged $1322.00. In the legal information they give you with the contract that you must sign, it turns out that only written estimates count, and that they must come to your location and give you a written estimate only after they have examined your property. Otherwise, their estimates are worthless, but they use them to con you into hiring them thinking that you will pay a low rate. All transactions are cash. Plus they managed to break about a dozen items by ignoring boxes marked glass, fragile, and the like, and even kicking boxes or turning them upside down when loading and unloading. My family and I have used these movers before and scheduled an appointment from 12 to 3pm yesterday. It was a complete disaster. We had to call the office several times to get a man who's name is Jorge who would tell us yes yes the movers will be there from NOON to 3. Once it became 12:45 We called to see where they were and he kept reassuring us that they will be here but were terribly late already. He then said they would be there anywhere from 12 to 3 but that is not what we agreed upon. 3pm came around and they never showed up. We had no plan B. Couldn't believe this happened and we still had all the furniture in the home to be moved out. We called and they never picked up the phone after that. This was such an inconvenience my cousin had to pay more money and gas to take care of it ourselves and she had to miss work today because the move is still ongoing. Terrible service and the owner is very temperamental when we asked about time. I am very upset. He could at least have the deceny and say we can't make it and would have called another moving company but he kept telling us they would be here. I hired this company because they were cheaper and said that they would mount my tv to this other apartment I moved to. They didn't and said they don't do that. I was also missing 3 screws to a table that they only have to remove the glass inserts. It turned out that I paid more per hour for this company then all the others that quoted me but were honest and told me they didn't mount TV's. Make sure you have everything in writing if they say they will mount your TV and don't pay them unless they do. read more

I would NOT recommend this company. They caused significant damage to my property during a move and stonewall when asked to remedy the damages, despite the fact that insurance was part of the cost of the move. Their arguments for not reimbursing the damage are the following: They claim that a signed waiver absolves them of any responsibility for major damages. And when pressed they claim that an oral waiver (!) means that major damages are not their problem. Beyond their stonewalling and unresponsiveness, they are simply not professional--they do not provide the services one would expect from a professional moving company. read more

I would give a zero star if I could . I waited all day for them to show up . They showed up at 3:00 pm and said it was too late to move our stuff 10 minutes down the street into storage. The storage closes at midnight. This is a one bedroom apartment. Everything is boxed and the dining table is taken apart. I mean everything is ready. This place does not deserve to be in business. Hired these movers on the 19th of June, they arrived to my apartment loaded everything up and then dropped it all off at my new location. Paid them, even tipped the dirt bags and as I am unpacking I can't find my PlayStation 4 and 2 controllers, vacuum or swiffer ANYWHERE! In a panic I go back to old apartment to see if it was left...NOPE, I immediately text the movers and they never respond, and once I told them I was going to file a police report, the blocked my phone number! George says All I can do is file a police report and he believes that his movers stole it! But now I get to pay for a new one, with no reimbursement. This place hires thieves. Never again read more

I scheduled a pickup with the individual at the phone number 949-701-6372 in downtown LA. Several times through the week I was in contact to confirm time, etc. 2 days prior to move he text me pickup will be between 12-3pm. On the day of move I text him in morning to confirm and he said he didnt schedule me because I did not send him an address. And he continued to defend himself with this statement. Clearly he either forgot or they got better orders. Cancelling on a customer the day of move out is a big NO, this ended up costing me several more hundred dollars. They did a great job! We were moving our 86 year old dad into our house and taking furniture from our house and moving it to his old house. The guys were very polite and very careful with all of our furniture. They carefully wrapped all of the furniture to protect it and moved it carefully. Our son will be moving into our dads old house and we will be calling them again to do that move. They were supposed to come between 7-730 am but called at 7 and said they would be there around 8. They were there by 8:20. I appreciated the call to let us know they were on their way! Would definitely recommend! Good job guys! read more

I am VERY disappointed in not only this company, but in myself for not reading the reviews before I decided to use their services. I had called probably 20 different companies because I was trying to find the best price with short notice to move. They guy I spoke with said "No problem!" Was super nice and I was confident in him and the price he gave. On the day of, they were supposed to arrive at 11am. 11:15 can around so I texted the original guy to get an ETA. He stated the prior job took more time and he would text me in an hour with a specific time they would be there. I was annoyed because I felt if they were going to be late they should have reached out, not me. I ran errands with my fiancé... 1pm came around, still nothing. I texted the main guy again asking for an ETA to which he responded "later". Holding back my tongue I started typing and he then said "I have several problems now". 1. That's not my problem 2. They still never communicated anything to give me an update 3. He could even give me a time. Needless to say they never showed up. Moving is difficult as it is and scheduling movers is a big deal and to have this happen is literally outrageous. I found another mover to schedule two days later and texted this company to cancel. I just had an amazing experience with Less 4 movers. Jorge has been in touch with me via text every day, confirming the time of movers arrival. On the day of the move, 2 guys came 15 min early to look at my belongings and going over the paper work. They were very professional, covering my furniture with such a care. We moved 3 bedroom townhome to a storage near by in less than 4 hours. Their price is the best around and their service is phenomenal.
