I used this company to move from California to Texas. I originally spoke to David who was really nice and promised he would take care of me and all of my things. I will preface by saying if I had moved locally and the same crew that packed my things would have unpacked them I would have given them 3 stars. There were a few things that they didn't pack correctly that got damaged (including 2 dyson vaccum cleaners, shelves, rugs), but they didn't damage the home on the way out and they were there on time and were mostly fine. What I was not aware of, is the garbage crew he would send me in Texas. His guy in Texas that was dropping of my belongings called me EVERY DAY for a week to see if I could move in a day earlier. I realized they had planned out the trip perfectly so there would be no time in between drop offs, but I told them when they came to pick up my stuff that I couldn't move in earlier than Friday. Every damn day Ran, called to harass me and see if I could move in earlier. He also made me show up on moving day at 7 am to collect money, even though his crew didn't show up until 8:30. In addition, he tried to charge me $700 to move things on a dolly up a 110 ft. driveway. Yes, I walked it and counted it because I thought it was so ridiculous. The home is part of 6 homes that were on a lot that used to have 1 large house, so if it was all the same house would they still have charged me? No, Ran was clearly annoyed he had to kill a day in Texas and was trying to find a way to weasel some more money to make it worth it. He even told me that if it was Miami it wouldn't be a big deal, but in Texas he has nothing to do and doesn't want to have to spend a day. I thought he was joking, but things continued to get worse. At first 2 guys showed up and did a pretty good job. But later he brought 3 additional guys that didn't know their right foot from their left. He said he had to charge me extra because he needed more guys, but it took a crew of 5+ to pack my original home so I'm not sure why he thought he could get away with 2. And frankly, he could have since the additional guys he brought were worthless and damaged my home. Literally, the first step one guy took his boot scratched my brand new floors. I ended up negotiating with David to pay $500 instead of $700 and Ran was so upset, he was screaming at everyone. Me, his employees, even the housekeeper that came to clean my house. He was the most disrespectful, garbage human being I have ever had to be around. At one point, he got so pissed he walked away without putting my bed together and my child's crib. I was on the phone with David at that point, and I asked him are you not putting my bed and crib together? And he admitted that if they took it apart they were supposed to put it back together. I had to pay 2 decent guys who stayed behind because they couldn't believe how garbage this guy Ran was, and they finished the job on their own. On top of it all, Ran left a mountain of garbage in my front yard that belongs to the whole community, and he turned in a FAKE plant at customs. It was a $180 faux fiddle leaf fig tree, and the tag was in the vase, and he yelled at me that if he tried to argue with customs I would have had to pay a ticket. I'm no customs agent, but I'm pretty sure if there is a tag on a plant saying it's fake it would be let go. This guy didn't even tell me, I had to ask where the rest of my things were and 2 total were taken at customs. I don't have words for how poorly things went after I paid them $7000 to relocate my items. NEVER AGAIN. Please, if you're in LA message me and I'll send you an amazing guy who moved me 4 times (3 homes and 1 office). Stay away from this company. I'm out the money I paid, plus the about $1000 in items that were damaged or didn't arrive. Not to mention the repairs I have to do on my floors. read more

Please do read this before considering this company. I consider them to be shady, not ethical, and not transparent in the least. If you are considering them, ask as many questions as possible in their processes and delivery dates, etc. I am a detail-oriented person and when I asked questions, it seemed I had exposed some holes in their practices and was then given the run-around. This is when they turned shady and went MIA on me. We completed a cross-country move with this company, and I would give them a zero rating if I could - which is disappointing given we had worked with them on a local move (within LA) some years before and they were great. I honestly think the reason for my terrible experience this time around was due to their cross-country manager, Mark. Please beware of working with Mark. He may appear professional but when faced with issues or even questions, he is shady. We ran into a number of red flags while working with Mark: 1) When we first signed with them to do our move, I had a specific delivery date in mind. When asked if they could meet our delivery date, Mark said they will try but worst case scenario could be 1-2 weeks after. Long story short, we got our stuff 6 weeks later. When asked about the delay, Mark defended himself by sighting the technical definitions of "delivery date" or "general practices." 2) During those 6 weeks, I wasn't getting updates on the delivery date at all. No communication whatsoever. When I took it upon myself to call for updates, Mark then started to ignore my calls and disappeared on me. This happened after he assured me that he would be my main rep and contact during the move. This level of no service was what irritated me more than the late delivery date. (Initially, we tried to coordinate our flight to our new destination with the delivery of our stuff and I told Mark getting any updates on the delivery date would help us to decide when to fly out and how many days we'd need to stay at a hotel. Of course, none of that happened so we were left to wing it on our own. They could have cared less.) 3) When we were getting quotes, I wanted an estimate as close to what we would ultimately be paying as possible. Mark suggested that he send someone out to look at our storage unit to determine the square footage, then they would actualize after they pick up my stuff to determine the final dollar amount. Of course, my quote came in much higher after the visit to our storage unit. And worse, during the day of pick-up, I asked the person in charge what the actual square footage and cost would be, and he hesitantly told me that he was specifically told not to actualize. When I called to ask Mark, he gave me a excuses about "general practices." 4) The biggest red flag was that I got a call from Mark during the day of pick-up telling me that my husband was on sight measuring each item as they load it onto the truck to determine his own square footage. This was a bold lie as I was at the loading sight too. When he found out I was there too, he furiously backtracked. I'm not sure what the purpose of this lie was. 5) Lastly, they contract out to other companies. The company that delivered my stuff was not the company I hired. They are not transparent about this. read more

I've heard true nightmares about moving companies: getting strong-armed for more money, while they hold your last piece of furniture on the truck, extreme lateness, or not showing up at all, or just gouging you with surprise incidental charges at the end of the day, while three large men refuse to leave your new living room. Yikes! So, I was not psyched to hire help with our move, but when you're over forty forget about doing it with your elderly friends. Those days are done! I called a few companies and didn't get a good feeling. "Let's Move It" was recommended and I saw great reviews. Luckily, I called and they were available. The day of, they arrived within the window and Jose and Adolfo immediately started getting the job moving while I went over the paperwork with Julien. They communicated as to what we wanted and took care with our furniture. They totally killed it and never milked the clock. Besides that, I had a lot of laughs with them. Very friendly, hardworking guys. They de-assembled and reassembled two beds and got everything situated in the right spot. No eye-rolling or negative vibes about anything. Just good work and attitude. The next day I got a call from Joey, who checked in the day before, as well, to make sure everything went as planned and that we were happy. Great job done by all. This was the third move in 2 years for me. It is just me but I have a lot of stuff. The prior 2 moves I used Excalibur and I was happy with them. This latest time a friend recommended Let's Move It Right. The name says it all. Liko (foreman), Daniel and Kareem were my team. They had all the furniture protected, helped me tape up and mark boxes as I packed up the last things, and the truck was loaded in two hours. The tough part came when unloading at the new place, as it was on the third floor (with an elevator) and they had to park the truck quite a distance from my building on the other side of the complex. I had 50-60 boxes in addition to furniture and they took very good care of my belongings. They wrapped two cases of wine bottles for me (extra work not expected) and put together a cumbersome desk. They also packed up books and marked the boxes I was packing so that it was easy to unpack the necessities the same day. Liko, Daniel and Kareem were professional, polite and hard workers and they did not seem to want to rush off like the other company. I felt less stressed out with LMIR and will hire them again the next time I move. Great company, great experience. read more

I called them on Thursday from Texas to get help with moving my father who is a Veteran and had a stroke so this was an emergency move to get him here to Texas with me. Mark was so helpful and answered all questions and gave me the cost breakdown from beginning to end with explanation and expectations. He was great and even worked out getting my dad moved out on Saturday early in the morning and was willing to talk to the landlord to assure her that they were coming as planned. The movers called me on Saturday to let me know they were 20 minutes away which was great because I was on the phone with my dad and he was stressing out. They packed everything professionally, boxed everything, took apart furniture and put everything on their truck with no problems. My dad was so happy and stress free now he is on the way to Texas and I am very grateful. As I am the only family member in Texas and the rest are in California from LA to San Diego I will definitely keep their contact information on hand if my family needs help with their moves. I used Let's Move It Right (actual moving was done by their subsidiary Eden Relocation) for moving my colleague's house from California to Texas. David came around first to make an assessment of the things to be moved and provided a very reasonable binding quote for the move including complete packing (I had contacted 7 or 8 other movers, whose quotes were all over the place). They were able to schedule the move promptly with only couple of days notice. 4 movers came on time and within 3 hours had the entire 2 bedroom apartment packed and loaded. They were very courteous and even took care of special requests without complaint! The delivery was also scheduled perfectly, on time and within 4 days of the date we had requested. This was also great because any other movers only gave me the standard statement of 2-14 working days, with no commitment on exactly when. The items arrived in perfect condition, and unloaded very professionally & quickly. Overall, awesome awesome work. I was referred to Let's Move It by a friend whose family has used them for several moves over the years. Since finding out that I was going to be moving, I was planning to gather a few friends and do the move myself. About a month before my actual move date, I realized that there was far too much to be done including a TON of packing. I was delighted to hear of their packing service which my friends also used. Needless to say, it worked out perfectly! They showed up promptly at 8am and began right away. Their estimation for time and movers needed based on the information I gave was right on point. They sent 1 guy to pack while the other 2 guys were working efficiently. Minus the lovely LA commute, they finished within the estimated range. I am so thankful to have been referred to this company. I had great experience that was high-quality (to say the least) while choosing and using this moving team! They were very easy to talk with, work with, and just had the great family-owned // small business vibe and they valued their work and the overall job and cared about how they performed when it came to not only how they performed and properly packed, wrapped, loaded, and moved but also were very customer service + customer centric oriented. The two movers (Hasan &Alex) were incredibly patient, professional, and very careful with all of my belongings, both boxed and household furniture. My move ended up being more complicated than expected because I had to do a storage transfer, but they stayed calm, flexible, and extremely collaborative throughout the entire process. They never rushed me, communicated clearly, and handled everything with care. Moving is usually stressful, but they really made it smooth and manageable. The team Liko, Ariel, and Erick arrived on time and went right to work on wrapping and moving my furniture. They were careful and made sure that there were no dents, dings or scratches any of the pieces they moved. Liko was very helpful in explaining what the team was doing and he did ask if there was anything I was concerned about. When delivering the furniture at the new home they asked where we wanted everything placed and they set it up just as requested. They cause no damage to either residence during the move. They did a great job. Let's Move it Right went a 110% to get a special insurance certificate to satisfy requirements by a building owner/manager. The driver and his assistant arrived early (before 7:00 am) which facilitated getting a bay in a loading dock before they filled-up with other trucks. This was valuable so as to complete the move-out before the hour of 9:00 am which was regarded as a time prescribed by the building owner/manager by which the move-out had to be completed. I believe everything got treated gently and I have not detected any breakage (I am still in the process of unpacking.) At my new location, the driver and his assistance worked with me to move furniture to explore the best layout (I had a tentative plan; but, could not really tell until the furniture/file cabinets were actually in the rooms.) The price for all this was fair. read more

Working with Let's Move It Right was easy and a pleasure. Tom helped with setting up the appointment and price. Called the day before to re-confirm. The morning of the move Ariel called to let me know when they would arrive and they were right on time. I have to say Cesar Villalobos and Ariel are great Movers. Took them only about 45 minutes to get out what needed to be moved. Then at my house took about an hour and a half to unload. They brought things in room by room, starting in the back of the house. I was impressed with their strength and team work together. Put everything where we wanted it. Was charged what exactly what I was quoted. Lets Move It Right movers broke six tables, damaged a large format Epson printer as well as other belongings, and lost four boxes during a long distance move from CA to NH. I documented the damage on the bill of lading at the time of delivery and immediately emailed the company photos of the damage their movers caused. After waiting many months, they and their insurance carrier have denied my claim (for .60 cents a lb) saying it wasn't their fault - despite the fact that it was indeed their fault - for loading, moving and storing the tables on their sides, etc.. Very disappointing that the moving company (and their insurance company) damaged my property and failed to take responsibility for even minimal compensation. read more

These guys are great! I have moved 5 times in the past 7 years in the Los Angeles area and this company are by far the best movers I have ever used. Tom in the office keep me calm during the planning stages and patiently answered all my questions. The morning of the move, the men showed up 3 minutes early and worked hard and fast. Ergon was an amazing team leader. Marco, Jesus, and Jose were also wonderful. These guys worked hard and were cheerful and nice. Most importantly as a single woman I felt safe working with them.
