Five stars only for the food because service and cleanliness had problems. But the food was delicious! When I checked in with the hostess to put our names on the waitlist for a late lunch on Memorial Day, we were told it would be 15-20 minutes; it took about ten minutes. We were seated upstairs at a booth. They have tables and a bar outside overlooking the street. The table hadn't been wiped off well, so I got something sticky on my sleeve. I used my own wipes to clean the table. My son-in-law went in both of their bathrooms to wash his hands; neither had soap (?!) so again he used my wipes to clean up. It took a server awhile to bring us water then to take our order. We ordered skinny fries, monster onion rings (fried in yummy cracked pepper batter), juicy hamburgers, a salad with chicken and Granny Smith apple slices, an amazing grilled cheese sandwich on whole grain bread, strawberry shake, root beer float and pecan pie with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. We wolfed down the food, not because we were especially hungry but because it was so good. Madi kept our drinks refilled and did an okay job bussing dirty dishes, etc. read more

The service was wonderful. The burger we had was so juicy and good. The meat was so fresh and well seasoned. We sat in the top by a window it was nice- it was raining so a bit harder to see out. If it was a clear day we could've sat outside on a long bench overlooking one of the main corners in Jackson Hole. We will definitely go back here. Oh, prices were very reasonable! read more

Probably the best burger I've ever had. It was the give back burger. It had ghost pepper queso. I should have taken a picture but I ate it to fast. Lol The Onion rings are bomb. It's is very loud but that's because it's packed. Oh and it's very reasonable priced. We are not froo froo people so it was REALLY nice. read more

Married to the Merry Piglets right off the Square, Liberty makes a solid lunchtime hamburger. I think it would be a little disappointing at dinner. The meat is good but the burgers are not particularly juicy. The onion rings have a thin and crispy coating over big thick rings and are way above average. French fries are tasty made with local potatoes. I had a baby kale salad with cranberries, blueberries, blue cheese, quinoa and poppyseed dressing that was excellent. Shakes, beers and cocktails round out the menu. If you can, get a balcony street view seat upstairs and watch les touristes parade by in RVs of all shapes and sizes. read more

Travelled all day and were looking for a spot to eat. When we got there we were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive, I was so thirsty and drank 3 glasses of water within the first 20 minutes of being there and each time I was almost done someone came by to fill my water back up. All of the food was great and made with quality ingredients. I got The Nooner, which was cooked medium rare and hit the spot after a long day. This was by far our top favorite spot of the town visit. Excellent quality, good services. Their grass-fed beef and bison burgers were VERY good. Freshly made and flavors just perfect. Like so many other reviews, this place is fantastic. Definitely recommend using the Yelp feature to get "in line" in advance. We ordered various burgers for our party of four, milkshakes for each of us ... one of them was the adult Huck Berry shake. Everything was delicious. Our server, Emil, was great even though he was very busy. The only negative is ... this restaurant has ONE restroom. If you think you need to go, don't wait. We found Liberty Burger on Yelp and decided to give it a go. It was AMAZING. We visit Jackson frequently since our home town is just over an hour away. We have been to many restaurants and this is definitely one of our favorite burger joints. The atmosphere is different. Reminds me of a hole in the wall restaurant that you'd find in NYC. This place is very casual, but they have amazing hamburgers and great service. I ordered the portobello mushroom burger, but swapped out Gorgonzola cheese for queso Blanco, and it was absolutely delicious. Comes with one onion ring on the top of the burger, which is just the right amount. My son had the western burger and it was just as advertised and cooked just right. Yum. This place is an easy choice if you are in the mood for a delicious burger. All burgers can be upgraded to fresh bison burgers for $6. I highly recommend this option. Burgers are cooked medium/medium-well unless you specify differently. I asked for a rare burger during my order and got the juiciest, perfectly pink burger ever. I got the Napa... I believe that was the name. It had arugula (a whole salad's worth, IMO), caramelized onions, some red peppers (not spicy), and a gorgonzola spread. All the flavors plus a fresh bison burger. Just, heaven. I think I remember really liking the bun too but honestly I inhaled that burger so quickly the details are a bit hazy. This place is right next to a mexican restaurant too so the margs are top notch. Beer selection is great. We had a group of 6 and were put on the wait list with an estimated ~20 minutes. We had just gone next door to grab a marg when they came back and seated us at the community table. Some folks had shifted down so our whole party could sit together. Very nice of the patrons and employees for making that happen! Only bummer was that the burgers come solo- no fries or sides included. You can order fries, which our table did. Sweet potato and normal potato fries were great. I wasn't a huge fan of the sidewinders (thick cut with queso, bacon bits and jalapenos). Can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe ratio of potato to flavor was too high? The queso was ok but not super strong in flavor, so it left something to be desired. read more

The bison burgers are amazing!! We came here for dinner one night and returned the second night because my kids and I loved it so much. We tried the Wild West burger, the liberty burger, the baby Bella, and the Chillerno all with bison. The baby Bella was definitely my favorite! The service was so friendly and quick too.
