Great quality and a price you can't beat. Moving is expensive enough, so with spending almost $800 last time around to move a 2br house, I spent more time looking for a better deal and preparing well for the move. As we had 2 full bedrooms, living room furniture (a big sectional couch), dining room, multiple garage bins, outdoor furniture/grill, etc. we respectfully tried to have everything we could in bins/boxes and moved a few sensitive items ourselves. I know not everyone has that option but it helps save $ and time if you can avoid having loose items around that can fit in boxes or toss a few things in your own car. Any way, these guys kicked butt and worked through the morning non-stop. They showed up early, were friendly (regardless of the slight language barrier), and asked before wrapping/placing things in places. I liked them a lot and they got so much done in less than 5 hrs. Last time we paid for almost 7 hours so that was a huge difference to me. That time alone should show how efficient they are and experienced, as I know packing a 26ft truck does take finesse to do it well and do it quickly and safely. I wish I took pictures! If I move again (hopefully not for another few years haha) I'll definitely give these guys a call again :) thank you! read more

Like Movers sent two guys to my place to help my move two Uhaul trucks into my house. I told them my timeline 3 hours and they assured me they could get it done. Like Movers was fantastic when they moved all of our belongings from Vista, CA to San Diego, CA. They brought a 24 foot van and, in the end, had to pack it top-to-bottom. When they finished loading it there was less than a foot clearance below the van roof for the entire length of the van and zero clearance at the end of the van when they finally slid the back door shut. Getting things packed that tightly was a huge challenge. The overall all move, including a 45 minute drive and unloading at our new home, took over twelve hours and they stuck with the work the entire way. In addition they were very polite, communicated well and their prices were reasonable. I highly recommend Like Movers. read more

The process was smooth after I decided to go with these guys after browsing different moving companies for a few days. I chose the "two mover" option as I felt I didn't have as much stuff. Two bedroom/two bathroom apartment that was lightly furnished. NICK AND MARAT. Moved mountains with no complaints and were very friendly. I hired Like Movers this past weekend to move into a new apartment (from downtown San Diego to Kearny Mesa). Elon and his partner did a fantastic job. They moved all of my furniture (including a super delicate 65in tv) without any damages. He came prepared with all of the plastic wrapping/blankets/truck-supports necessary. They knew how to take apart and put together my bed and couch without any challenges. I was so pleased with my service from Like Movers that I hired Elon to mount my tv and art work the next day. He did a stellar job mounting my tv, and took extra care to make sure that all of the paints his hung were level and to my specifications. First I will say the owner Mike is very professional and accommodating. We unfortunately had to change our move date twice due to the closing on our house being delayed. He was very nice and was still able to accommodate our new move date. He suggested 3 movers which I had no problem booking. However, the 3 movers who showed up were not great. We packed a majority of the house ourselves but left the kitchen for the movers to pack (I had told the owner I wanted a full packing service as well as moving). It took the one guy nearly 5 hours to pack our kitchen. He also made comments several times that we had a lot of stuff and we should've hired 4 guys. Which I would've happily done but I went with the recommendation of the owner. The packer only labeled boxes as "kitchen" so when unpacking I had no idea what was in each box. Half way through packing the kitchen they ran out of tape and we had to run to get more so the move could progress. We were moving into a brand new home with new cream carpets in the bedrooms. Before driving to the new home I told Alex that I would like them to wear shoe covers on the carpet because of the color and it being brand new. They didn't have shoe covers but said they would take their shoes off. I was pretty annoyed to see Alex on my carpet with his shoes on just a little bit later. Another weird moment was while driving from one house to the other - the homes were about a 15 minute drive max. They said they needed to stop for gas, which I found odd. I'm not sure why a moving company wouldn't fill their truck before arriving but I didn't think much of it until we were waiting for them for nearly an hour at our new house. I finally text them and they said they were only a few minutes away and arrived shortly there after. The whole move took about 12 hours with my husband and I helping on and off throughout. They definitely seemed to take their time. I realize items are heavy and they're doing a lot of work but it did feel as though they took their time knowing we were paying by the hour. My husbands desk was also damaged, so taking their time didn't save us from having undamaged items. Our landlord also found a drawer full of kitchen items that they forgot to pack. Luckily we were able to retrieve these items but I would've been pretty upset if we had lost them as they were pieces of an appliance I needed in order to use it. read more
