I had such a great experience at Lilly Nail & Spa in Torrance! The salon is super clean, relaxing, and beautifully kept. The polish lasted much longer than I expected, and the attention to detail was impressive. They also make sure you're comfortable the entire time, offering water and checking in often. I really appreciated how gentle they were and how sanitary all the tools looked. Definitely my new go-to spot for nails in the South Bay. Highly recommend booking an appointment here if you want quality service and a peaceful experience! I thought the pricing was pretty reasonable for the service that I got -- if not cheaper than some of the other salons I've experienced. And for however long this nail lasted - it was definitely worth it!

I've been coming here regularly for about 2 years now, and Lilly's is fabulous. I get a gel manicure with Sandy and it lasts 3-4 weeks. Sandy is also very efficient, which makes it very nice when coming on my lunch break. I also enjoy coming here because everyone is so kind and eager to help!!

If I could give this place a negative star review I would but I guess i'll settle for 1 star. Back in February I was assigned Mimi, I asked for a french tip nail and received a kindergarten arts and craft nail set. She over filed my nails to the point were it was painful, I went back the next day to get a refund but I got store credit. I leave tomorrow (4/10/26) to hawaii for a romantic get away so I thought let me use my store credit I for my messed up Valentine's day nails. MY MISTAKE! I went in for a cute french tip nail (the simplest thing on planet earth for nail techs.) Tiffany gave me see through, crooked, uneven nails. I was mortified due to the fact that I was charged $90 and $45 for my toes. The amount of times I asked if it was going to be see through and was reassured no should've been worth $90. Soo then was appalled when I only tipped $5 (which was more than generous for such a horrendously done job.) She corrected me by saying i'm tipping 10% but they charge 12%. I was so devastated knowing their care for customers satisfaction is so practically non existent. Please save your money and go elsewhere. Also if you're a POC the vibe is not welcoming.

First time at this salon and Susan did my nails. One of the best manicures I have had, she really spent time on my cleaning up my cuticles and buffing my nails which I was very pleased with. Gentle, efficient and was open to my design ideas! Everyone seems to be very friendly with one another as well which gives off a very good vibe. 10/10 recommend and will be returning!

The worst manicure I've ever had, especially since it's $50. The paint job is terrible and she filed my nails extremely short to where it hurt when she was filing them. I told the lady who was checking me out about how terrible they looked and all she said was she'll get me someone else next time. I definitely will not be going back. My child can paint better nails than this. 2 stars because the pedicure was good. read more

Disappointing. Lilly used to be the go-to place for nail service in South Redondo Beach. Sadly they seem to rely on location and convenience over service. I hadn't been in some time but was close by so I thought I'd give it a try. Basic pedicure only lasted about 24 minutes and three of those were spent by the nail tech looking for the polish I handed her when I sat down. Barely a foot scrub and probably a three minute massage. I now remember my pedicure peeling off the last couple of times I was here. I hope it lasts this time but I do t think she used a top coat. Two starts because at least it feels clean. read more

I have been going to this spa for 10 years. I love everyone in there!!!! It's the only nail salon I go to. The owner, Sue is lovely and always there. I am never disappointed. I like this place because it's owned by Koreans and there are bunch of Koreans that work here. I am bias because I am Korean too and I like to support my peeps. :)) I give 3 1/2 - 4 stars. The service for the most part pretty good. Whenever my nails have been busted after I leave, they fit me in right away and fix it without pay. My mani lady is the best! I have gone to other people and my gel nails just doesn't last like when she does it, it last over 4wks! The Vibe in the salon is always good and cheery. I wouldn't say this place is the cleanest thou.., could be better. A bit disappointed when it comes to Korean standard of cleanliness... The price has gone up, but I guess so has everywhere you go. I think for kids it's a bit pricy, I think this place is a bit pricy overall. For example, I had a design gel - ombré and a pedi. My kid (8yrs old). She had mani n pedi (mani there in a flower for her). Just for my kid, they charged me $45 (without tip), pedi was more (when this pedi lady didn't do much and she was fast). It's very hit and miss on who you get... total price with tip $189, This is a lot! When has getting your nails done this high priced?!? Tip- find your gal and stick to that person, if you get some other techs, you might be disappointed... I only go to certain ones. read more

We love it here! My mom is a regular and they take the best care of her. No matter who does my nails they always turn out well. I've had regular polish, dazzle dry, gel, and dip done and it's always consistent (I change it up depending on what I have coming up). It seems like the majority of customers are regulars, which is a good sign. Everything is super clean, from the chairs to the tools and the shop itself. We are always seen on time for our appointments, and they never rush us out. It's great they have a parking lot too. Highly, highly recommend! read more

If you get French tips DO NOT come here. The lady did the French tips in such a weird way. Instead of applying the acrylic and then painting the tip on with white polish she applied a white acrylic tip and then painted under it with nude polish. The white part ended up being way too thick and the entire nail looks so disproportional. These are the ugliest French tips I have ever seen and I cannot believe I paid $85 for these. Do not come here. She also filed my actual skin and hurt me multiple times and cut the skin of my thumb with the drill and made me bleed. read more

I've been coming here for many years now for a reason! I even had my nails for my wedding done here as well. Very affordable prices for the services they provide; I've been to quite a few salons that charge more for sub-par quality. It can get busy on the weekends, but generally I come before or after peak times and only once wasn't able to just walk in for service. Otherwise it's easy to call and make a reservation! read more

Edit: Here is some updated information after receiving the response below from the owner. It was…read morestated that my service began at 5:45pm. That was around the time when the nail tech walked over to me for the first time to ask if I had chosen a color, not when my feet were in the water or when I was receiving the service, as I stated. She also walked away after the initial contact and returned a couple times, throwing supplies on her cart before proceeding. Regardless of that, my Zelle payment for tip was also confirmed at 6:54pm. So I do want to acknowledge that my time there was about an hour and a half total from my arrival/ appointment time. There was also not a "light residue" of the scrub left, there was literal exfoliating pieces/ beads and cream that I was able to scrape off my leg with my fingernail. There is no need to note my preferences as I will not be going back. If I had known that later appointments were known to be thrown off schedule, I would've just showed up late so I didn't have to wait. There was no update or follow up. While I understand it is the business owners responsibility to ensure all reviews are accurate, the repeated attempt to disprove what I stated was unnecessary when the issue still stands: my appointment time was not honored, i had literal pieces of scrub and gel on my leg, and someone used a cuticle cutter to PULL pieces of my toenail off without asking me. I understand these services are a luxury; I would not come in expecting to be waited on but I do expect basic communication and respect. The service and response were both disappointing.

I also really appreciated the one-on-one setting--it's just you and her in a peaceful, distraction-free space, which makes the experience feel that much more special. There are many, many nail shops that are better than this and treat paying customers better.

I was in desperate need to fix a nail before an event in a few hours. Even though the salon was full, two ladies attended to me immediately. Both of them searching quickly for a similar color because they knew time was of the essence. There were no stations available so they just fixed my nail at the reception counter!! This is the most amazing nail studio. I moved from Houston, Texas where my nail tech has done my nails for 11 years. I no longer see her when I return to Texas. I adore my girls here and refuse to let anyone touch me but them. Jessica and Mimi are my bi-weekly mani/pedi goddesses, to say the least.
