On the corner of Tremont and Carmel is this tiny pasta joint that need to get some publicity because it is fantastic. We stumbled upon this place looking for lunch while we were in the area. They don't have a physical menu so you have to look up at this beautiful lit menu that is a little tough to see. However, the pasta is amazing. Homemade and many options. My son had the spaghetti with butter and shrimp which he devoured. I had the ziti with a spicy alfredo sauce with shrimp and sausage which was great. The pasta was homemade and the sauce was outstanding. My wife had a salad which she enjoyed. This place is very small and only has 6 seats by the windows and 2 small tables outside. Many people come there and takeout. If this place had a few inside table they would clean up. I highly recommend the pastas here. read more

Chicken was cut up cubes chicken cold , cooked hours ago and then chopped and added? No flavors Shrimp Cameron tails own in a pasta dish... I'm not eating tails ? Had to hand pick off? Shrimp no taste , frozen previous fishy taste... Gear should have been sautéed in garlic, grilled then added ... awful Dinky piece of bread provided... wanted more bread? Fusilli pasta had a hard , not tender texture... sauce tastes right from a jar? No flavors, Maybe a few sautéed mushrooms might have helped... worse than Olive Garden at 2-3 times price... 1/8/26 Thursday First time trying this local spot! After seeing (whatdidyoueattodaysir) come by! I got Chicken parm sub and my mom get the mushroom ravioli in a cream sauce! Got a Fried Truffle Gnocchi With pesto marinara. The Chicken parm sub was delicious omg the vodka sauce is so good! It's a a lot the chicken is cooked crispy but inside the chicken is moist and taste fresh no frozen chicken pieces! The cheese and fried prosciutto bits, shredded mozzarella I could eat one of these 2 times a day! I need to take a nap after eating this! The place is clean and welcoming and very wholesome the own was very friendly and awesome customer service. Gave me a run down of the menu and suggesting! Let me tell you...Lilly's is great! I wish I could get an endorsement fee (lol) because I truly love them. I order from them when I don't bring lunch into work from home. Lilly's is in a convenient area. The staff are all super friendly. If you order from there often, they'll know your number and ask if you want your usual. You can dine in however it's window high top chair seats - no go out to dinner place. If you order online, you have the option for delivery. My typical go to orders are Cajun chicken and shrimp with gnocchi or Caesar salad with chicken salad. They both are bomb! The salad doesn't even need dressing. The chicken salad is indescribable. If you don't like spicy food, I wouldn't suggest Cajun although I don't think it's spicy however I can see someone thinking otherwise. The food comes with bread. Even the bread is good. The only reason why I don't eat it all the time is because I don't want it to go to my love handles. lol. read more

There are so many pasta-bilities at Lilly's. Why? Because you have the option to customize your pasta the way you want it. And you bet I'm going to customize to my hearts content. I'm personally a white sauce person so my pasta creation is always a little heavier BUT that's how I like it. My fool proof go-to pasta creation is cajun alfredo with broccoli, fried chicken cutlet and mushrooms with ziti. I've been having the same order for years since the good ol' college days and it always hits the spot. When I'm feeling like I should be healthier, I go for the classic red sauce. My healthy go-to creation is the tomato basil with meatballs, broccoli and mushrooms with ziti. The homemade meatballs here are so good and highkey the highlight of this order. Each creation is made to order with their fresh pasta. There are a lot of options to customize so I'm sure you'll be able to create your dish the way you want it all while it being reasonably priced. I still don't understand how and why pasta elsewhere is SO pricey?! Lilly's is a moderately sized corner shop that serves the Mission Hill/Longwood Medical Area. It's the perfect midday meal at school/work or a late night meal back at the apartment. They have a few bar seating areas so you can dine-in. This was my first time ever hearing about this place and I've been in Boston for a long time! The food was amazing. Nice size shrimp and chicken. Didn't expect the portion to be as much as it was. The service was good. Didn't interact with the the employees like that. But will say she knew what I ordered and wen I walked it she grabbed it right away. The Ambiance is ok. Super yummy pasta with tasty sauces! We tried the lobster ravioli, a customized fusilli with pesto and sweet sausage, and Cajun chicken and shrimp pasta. They were all delicious, and the pasta was perfectly cooked! Some highlights: The lobster ravioli had nice chunks of lobster in it, and the sauce was great for dipping bread. The sweet sausage slivers were super flavorful and went really well with the pesto. Finally, the Cajun alfredo had a generous amount of meat, and I really liked the shrimp. The Saltimbocca was recommended to me by a staff member, and it did not disappoint! If you're craving a cream-sauce pasta comfort food (among other things) with generous portions, this is the place for you! I was a little nervous about ordering the dish as takeout, but after a quick stir it tasted (probably) just as good as eating at the restaurant. It's a small storefront with a lot cooking inside! Lilly's was the no frills, fast delivery sandwich spot we were needing. The Italian sub was smothered in oil and vinegar and pure goodness. Lots of meat and a soft roll filled each bite. I had the eggplant parm sub and it was delicious. For a minute I thought I was eating meat because of how savory it tasted. There was just enough sauce and cheese where the eggplant and breading could still shine. Just what I needed after helping my wife through a long day of delivery and labor. We used Uber Eats to deliver to the hospital and had the driver call when he was at the valet in front. Ordered from Uber Eats. For this restaurant you can choose your own type of pasta when ordering. The food was hugely portioned and they did not skimp out on the meat and the shrimp. They use bigger shrimps unlike some restaurants that have been slowly shrinking their shrimps to smaller sizes. Will definitely order again when in the Boston area. read more

Had a very poor interpretation of chicken piccata. The chicken was tough dark meat and it had mushrooms and asparagus which was almost unrecognizable.. Never heard of those ingredients in any real piccata. And no capers to boot. The fusilli was doughy. Lilly's pasta is always solid! I've had their make-your-own pasta option a few times in various combos, and each time it is so satisfying. It's a really small space with only countertop space for in-store eating, but is really great for delivery (no fee!) if you're in the Mission Hill area. Be sure to try out their Cajun alfredo sauce - my go-to is that sauce on linguini with peas and sweet Italian sausage. A menu item worthy of note: the fried truffle gnocchi appetizer. I'm a huge fan of gnocchi in general, and these nuggets were normal gnocchi leveled up with satisfying crunch. The truffle aroma was more apparent without their side sauce, but the fresh sauce (parsley, basil perhaps?) acted as a palate cleanser making endless bites of fried enjoyment.
