If you known me, you know that I am always on the hunt for new restaurants, especially when they involve my favorite cuisines. So when I heard there was a good Thai restaurant in Maitland, my fiancé and I were super excited to try it out. Especially since is minutes away from both our offices. The location is a bit tricky, as there is no dedicated parking that I saw available. It's located on the corner of a very busy intersection. Once inside, it immediately gave me downtown Manhattan vibes with the extremely high ceiling and ambience. The service was ok, but the real show stopper was the food! It tasted amazing and authentic. The fact that they serve Pad See Ew with Chinese broccoli, I am now hooked! The beef was tender and thick, the noodles were firm, and the sauce was perfect. Easily the best, or top 2, I've had in Florida. My fiancés Pad Thai was also excellent but her chunks of chicken left a bit to be desired. With that said, I obviously decided to order the Khao Soi, and it's very delicious, and it's one of the better spots! Ordered to go because I was on a break but OMG the pork fried rice was DELICIOUS! This is the first time I've ever eaten fried rice without drowning it in soy sauce when I get it. A friend and I are always on the hunt for places that sell Khao Soi since it's not a common dish at Thai restaurants. So, I was super excited it's now here in Orlando. The chive cake was really delicious, especially the sauce with it. I dove right into the khao soi and it was really delicious that I forgot to get a picture. So beautiful yet homey in here. I love the way this place is decorated that feels cozy with delicious food. I ordered the Khao Soi Gai which to me had a nice light amount of curry flavor that wasn't so overpowering that paired so well with the crispy noodles , and i didn't expect there to still be more regular noodles on the bottom of the bowl which was cooked perfectly. Chicken was juicy, not dry at all. I will say the more I ate it the sweeter it got but that's just personal preference. Finally have a go to thai restaurant on this end of town. I've tried the pad thai and the panang curry on the recommendation of local foodie forums and it did not disappoint. Perhaps the meats could have been a little more tender but the tofu was outstanding. Simple, bright, and open location makes for a good lunch spot. I ordered the Pad Thai. It was perfectly done. The noodles were firm, not soggy. It may be on the top of my list for best Pad Thai. There were not many guests there during lunch. It seems that not many know about it. Parking is a little strange. You can try and find a spot on the street or one of the retail spots behind the restaurant. The space is clean and open. Orlando has a few great Thai restaurants, but Lim Ros is a standout! I have been four times now and have enjoyed a variety of dishes....all authentic, well-balanced, and packed full of flavor. My servers have also always been friendly and pleasant. I love their limited time menu additions too. Recently they added Kua Kling to their menu for a limited time, a southern Thailand dish not found in Orlando. It had intense flavor, where you were really able to taste the red curry and other aromatic spices. I can also recommend the Yen Ta Fo, Panang Curry, Pad Se Ew, Pad Ga Prow, Chive Cake, Tom Yum Hot Pot, Larb Gai, and Som Tum Isan. We ordered these on a recent visit and everyone raved about them! Lim Ros opened in November 2024. It is a welcome addition to Metro Orlando's growing and diverse culinary scene. Highly recommend! read more

I'm very glad my girlfriend and I decided to try this new Thai restaurant in Maitland. It was a 5-star experience from the moment we arrived. There were plenty of seats available, and we were seated immediately. A tag team of two waiters took our drink orders, brought us menus and filled our water glasses as soon as we sat down. Our Satay Chicken appetizer came out quickly and was delicious, served with a not-too-sweet peanut sauce and a small bowl of sweet & spicy diced vegetables. My girlfriend went for the tried and true Pad Thai with Tofu, which she said was prepared perfectly. I decided to try something new and ordered Khao Soi Gai, medium spicy. The dish was fabulous! Perfectly cooked, deliciously flavored and just the right amount of heat for me. I don't think I left a drop of soup in the bowl!
