I went for lunch for 2. Overall, everything was tasty and fresh. I tried the hibachi and the fare on the buffet. Things to improve and not a big deal, but if u can cut the steak on the hibachi, that would be great. I love all the sauce options as well. All the seafood I tried was great and fresh for a landlocked area. The best thing I tried was the chicken on a stick not dry and very tasty. Walked out very full and well worth the $. Christmas Day buffet for $19.99 per person. Fairly average due to quality and flavor of the food. Not bad, just not great. Chicken and broccoli, General Tso, and the lo mein were just not that good...For me... The wife enjoyed the AYCE crab legs and other seafood but wasn't blown away by anything in particular. It's nice that you can have sushi, hibachi, and nearly a very other Chinese food here, but don't expect a gourmet experience. Service was good with waitresses clearing plates and brining drinks and they all seemed nice and friendly. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Awful food. Went on Father's Day and saw the sign in the door that said $20.99 for crab legs Father's Day only. Went in and never got a crab legs because they would bring out 5 clusters at a time and they were gone before we got any. Went to check out and refused to pay for crab legs when we didn't get any. Owner refused to allow the normal dinner payment of $17.49 and called the cops on us. Ended up paying and will now take to civil court. They take advantage of people. So we spent $85 on 3 adult buffets and a child for crappy food and no crab legs.‍ My brother paid with card and only wrote on the slip the amount of a normal buffet price and the restaurant ran it for the other price, which is illegal. read more

Me and my husband usually come here at dinner time (5:30-6pm) occasionally. If you happen to get here past 7:30 pm like we did, don't expect there to be any food, or any food refilled. Personally, when I come to a place that's open until 9 , I also expect the food to be available until 9 , especially at a buffet. Closing it at 8;45 id understand, but like 8:00pm? That's weird. And I'm a very understanding person. Even the restroom wasn't stocked and it was just a little ridiculous. Coupon arrived in mail with a photo of snow crab legs, all you can eat. Wife and I love all you can eat seafood buffets and decided to visit this place. Tons of parking, no waiting. But also no snow crab. That appears to be for special holidays. Not cool. Smallish Chesapeake crabs stacked up. No longer hot and meat was dry. Clams were no longer fresh and were chewy. Most food had what tasted like curry powder added. That was a bit odd as it permeated lot of different foods. All in all, We were disappointed and will not return. Rookie buffet diners who don't know better might dine more than once, but we won't be going back as we are familiar with much better options in the region. read more

The smell was amazing as we walked in and the restaurant looked spotless! We were driving through and got off the exit when we saw a sign for Gilligan's. Gilligan's didn't appear to be open so we went into the shopping plaza across the street and found this buffet. The buffet was HUGE, with options for everyone - including children. They have a hibachi station and a sushi station, too. The lunch buffet for 2 adults was $25 - can't be beat. And the service was outstanding. We stopped by for a weekday lunch. $12.99 is OK for lunch but great value for buffet!! I love buffet also because i can just pick and choose what I want and how much I want. I can also sample anything I never or rarely tried before. There were a lot of seafood: baked salmon, whiting, deep fried filet, clams, mussels, all kinds of shrimps. These are dishes you don't generally find on cheaper Asian buffets. Sushi here is a disgrace. You can totally skip it. I didn't try the hibachi. The Red Borscht soup is delish, I had 2 bowls of it. Oh, they have ice cream cups but there is a sign that says if you want to take it with you, it would cost 50 cents. I guess too many people grab them on their way out LOL. read more

The Lin Buffet is my good to Chinese restaurant in the area - and that means driving from Boiling Springs to Mechanicsburg (it's that good). Their buffet is well stocked and their staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. I've never seen anything sit empty on the buffet - they refill items quickly without any interruption to your buffet experience. The ambiance here is pretty high class - it's high ceilings and decorative woodwork contrast nicely with the faux marble/wood tables and accents. The bathrooms are incredibly clean as well. You can tell the management takes a lot of pride in this establishment. I can't say enough good things about the Lin Buffet - get here if you haven't been yet! Not the greatest Chinese buffet that I've been to. This buffet is located in a shopping center on the Pike. The restaurant is deceptively large and has decent space dedicated to seating and the actual buffet line. They boast a hibachi and sushi station, but I didn't find either area to be as amazing as advertised. We ate here last night and I tried the general tso chicken, salt and pepper chicken, fried shrimp, spicy tuna sushi, fried rice, roast beef, lo mein, and fried chicken. The only item that I enjoyed was the general tso chicken. I did not get any dessert as there were a lot of flies on that side of the buffet. The selection for dessert was very minimal. The total for our meal came to almost $40.00. I'm not sure that buffets are really my speed so it's unlikely that I'll return. read more

I went with my daughter. This place has gone in the toilet. I've only been back 2 times since COVID before this night and each time has gotten worse. Some of our favorite dishes taste off. It didn't start great. They forgot to get us drinks. Then brought only mine and not hers. Then got hers and it wasn't right but she said she was fine with it. But then....someone needs to call the health inspector. We had one plate of edible food then went up for a second plate. Second plate my daughter only got a crab and some desert. She ate one part of the crab leg and then opened up the claw and the meat was brown. I told her don't eat that and smelled it. It smelled like bleach or ammonia. I told the waitress, she said something and walked away, came back, said sorry, it's just this one that's bad because the rest are fresh. Ummm, what? I said it smells like bleach. That's not fresh. And if this one was sitting in the same pan as the rest, it's not just this one. She just took the plate away. We tried to finish the rest of our food that wasn't in the vicinity of the crab but our appetite was lost. We couldn't get the smell out of our heads. We received the check and there was nothing taken off. I told the guy at the front and he was rude. Wanted to take $3 off a $40ish tab for a buffet I said her meal should be compt, he laughed and said we don't do that. No shit. Because they no longer care about good food or customer service. I got tired of arguing with him and said at least take the drinks off I had half of mine and she only had a few sips because it took them so long to get them to us. He did that. A whopping $5 so $35 for 2 small plates and not even one full glass of tea. They are horrible. Never again. read more

When this place first opened we loved going here! Food WAS always fresh and refilled. Now, I've noticed, they're not refilling the food, food is mediocre at best and the service itself has gone downhill. We've gotten undercooked and overcooked food. I've been here three times in the month that I've lived in PA. The first time was for lunch and it was excellent - everything was hot and there was a lot to choose from with sushi, hot dishes, and dessert. The second time I went with family who were in town visiting at lunchtime and it was just okay - sushi station was lacking variety and some food wasn't warm. The last time we went was for dinner (most expensive) and it was the worst visit. There were a ton of empty pans on the buffet, the sushi bar was literally empty aside from one or two pieces left behind, and it never got replenished in the hour or more that we were eating what limited choices we had. read more

This place used to be very busy and a lot more food ready for customers. There are literally no sushi, crab legs and desserts during my Saturday night visit. I'm not really sure why this server was standing right next my table and stared at my eyes for 5 or more min after I paid my bill so I finally asked her "yes? Can I help you?" Nothing......"what do you want?" Nothing... but still stares straight my eyes..she made me feel very uncomfortable also felt weird vibes from her and this place. I guess she was waiting for a tip? It's...okaaayyyyy. The buffet selection is great, but what I really look for is a good hibachi setup...and this one is severely lacking in terms of spices. The best Mongolian barbecue that I've had in the area was Evergreen, when it was open on the Carlisle Pike. That one was perfect. Since it closed, nobody has come close to matching it. Lin COULD match it IF it did one VERY SIMPLE thing. Put out some hot chili pepper for us to spoon onto the ingredients. Lin either does not provide any...or...if they do, they keep it behind the glass and spoons it on themselves, but VERY SPARINGLY. I want my Mongolian barbecue to be spicy HOT, worthy of creating a serious sweat. But, Lin insists on making their Mongolian barbecue bland, for some reason. read more

So I looked at the reviews on here that was most recent and I almost decided not to go but my wife talked me into going and I can honestly say I'm glad we came the people were so friendly and nice the waiter had our drinks like instantly every time she'd see that our drinks were half empty she'd bring us a refill the food Was delicious the meat was juicy. It was super clean it is a bit pricey with $15 a person but you definitely get your money's worth. They also give you gloves and make you wear your mask to the buffet which I liked so that it helps prevent anything will definitely be coming back soon with more people. read more

I've always liked their food. It's really pretty in there, tables are clean, and beautiful lights. They always keep the food hot. They also always somehow know when your drinks are low and refill them quickly. Lin Buffet used to have a chocolate fountain growing up I thought it was the coolest thing, it tasted amazing too. It's always exciting to visit a brand new restaurant. I visited this place twice since it opened in January. The decor is modern with a gigantic recessed lighted wall which changes color. It's very spacious. The placement of foods is different (U-shaped) which is refreshing. The selection of dishes is vast but usual, oh except the marshmallow fondue which was a nice surprise!! I also liked the pork chops, the red borscht soup, and the golden sweet and sour fish fillets. Lunch buffets are great value without question, dinners not so much so. I am very happy that the West Shore finally have some descent Asian buffet restaurant of our own! I used to have to drive all the way to the East Shore to visit one of Jumbo Buffet, Lin Buffet, or Hibachi Grill Buffet. There were some botched previous attempts by other buffet restaurants, but I am hopeful that this one sticks due to its proven track record on the East Shore. 4 stars for on par with expectation. I'd give 5 if they had included some more authentic dishes instead of the usual. read more
