My family and I have been going to this bakery for over 14 years. We've trusted them with every birthday, anniversary, and graduation cake. I can't vouch for other flavors, but the strawberry cream tres leches cake is AMAZING. They use fresh whipping cream to make the frosting so the cakes are just the right amount of sweet. Presentation is standard, nothing amazing. They will customize colors and themes for you. One year, for my dad's birthday, Fagundo (the owner) said he'd surprise us with the decorations. He ended up putting a plastic guy on a hammock with beer cans on either side. It was adorable! They're a family business and everyone is super nice. The pricing is even better! Their smallest round cake (around $25) will feed probably 15 people easily! The Mexican breads are just as good. They have a coconut strawberry swirl that is deathly buttery but OH SO GOOD! I was disappointed with my cake since I set eyes on it. It seemed like it was put together by someone that didn't care if it was pleasing to the eye or not. I told my boyfriend that hopefully it would at least taste good. The gentleman that handed my boyfriend the cake told him he messed up the cake. It was a giant cake, as soon as I cut it I see why he claimed to have messed up by making the cake larger then what it was supposed to be. We had asked for fresh strawberries with chocolate in the middle. Whoever baked the cake put fresh strawberries with regular cream instead of the chocolate. So their solution was to add another piece of bread and put the chocolate filling in between the two pieces of bread. Instead of remaking the middle?? When I cut the cake it just fell apart. For the price I could have just gone to a grocery store for a cake that was already made and probably saved a couple dollars. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this bakery. Starting with the great customer service I received from the staff. From the get go, we were greeted right away and felt welcome, which is always so wonderful when it comes to establishing a good relationship with a company you will do business with. I am clueless when it comes to ordering cakes, usually I pick up my cakes at Sam's Club or big chain grocery stores, but for my son's "Under the Sea" party, we wanted something a lot more custom made. My son knew from the start, he wanted lots of blue hues and an octopus figure on top. I'm not much into plastic toppers and I wanted something with a bit more character, so it was a great surprise when I heard they could make an octopus figure out of fondant!! I brought in a couple of pictures of what I wanted the cake to look like and they achieved the texture I wanted along with the air brush down to the last detail! It truly looked like an ocean cake. The cake was ready on the date and time I had told them I'd like it. My son and I walked in to pick it up and it was ready to go in their fridge. I have tried their vanilla and chocolate cakes and both have been great. The cake filling the baker uses is so good and does not taste artifical. Each cake I have gotten has been consistant in taste and quality. Although I have asked for very basic cake decorations I have seen through his cake display that the baker can create beautiful decorations. I don't have experience with the cake-making aspect of the business but I can say that the Mexican sweet bread that they sell here is very good with the conchas being their specialty. The bread is very fresh and while it's a little more expensive if you compare them to the bread sold across the street at the Vallarta Supermarket, I'd rather pay a little bit more since their bread is far superior.
