Food was great! (Service was iffy, will speak on that in a moment) The food tasted so good. Reminded me of my favorite Chinese buffet from back home that shut down many many years ago. Since then I've been searching for one that even remotely meets the standards it set. And I'm happy to say I found it! Fresh food. Hot food. Flavorful food. Wide variety of food. Yes, amazing. 10/10 for food. Service was questionable. It wasn't very busy at the time we went. Maybe 6 tables max. We ordered our drinks when brought to our table - per usual, and it took about 8 minutes for 2 sodas to come out. No big deal, we were getting food anyway. But then halfway through our meal we needed a refill and 3 different people walked right past us. I even smiled and waved for someone to come over to us and they walked away. Someone came to pick up an empty plate from the person I was eating with and I asked for a refill and they never brought it. Finally the same woman came back 5 minutes later asking if I wanted a refill. So I went a good 10 minutes with no drink. Then they brought our check and from what we noticed from everyone else, we put our card down and they grab it and bring the receipt. That didn't happen. We waited another 10 minutes for someone to come grab our check & card and we just kept getting ignored. They walked past us again and again. Even after we signaled for them. At one point I saw 3 people just standing around talking by the cash registers while we had been sitting there waiting and waiting. Finally we gave up and decided to bring it to the front where I can only assume the manager/man in charge was up there because our waitress tried to intercept us and stop us from going up there but we politely walked past her and handed him the check. We saw him look at the woman when he saw she was the server and she stood there looking... embarrassed? We paid and he asked how the service was. I personally wasn't going to say anything negative but the person I was with raved about the food but said the service could have been better. Anyway, like I said, they weren't even halfway full at the time and were frequently just standing around, yet we had to wait over 10 min for a refill and over 10 min (before giving up) to pay for our food. BUT THE FOOD IS AMAZING. So I'll be back anyway lol. Maybe it was a bad day. I don't know. But food that good in a nice, quiet, beautiful Asian buffet style restaurant doesn't come around often, so I'll put up with slow service for great food.

Beware of the price change! The sign on the door lists the price for the dinner buffet $13.49-$14.49 depending on the day. When we got the check, we were surprised to see that that charged us $16.49 per person. When I asked them about it, they pointed to a piece of paper taped to the window. In tiny print at the bottom, it said Friday and Saturday buffet $16.49. I wouldn't have been so upset if the food had been good, but it was pretty bad. They had a decent selection and variety, but everything was cold and bland. Definitely not worth the price, and I would not go back.

For a Chinese buffet this place rocks. Windows and window sills could use a scrubbing but the food is yum and the selection is great.

The concept was a delight, all you can eat course dining where you can try everything and order more of what you like. When you sit down, they bring each of the four course out in full to your table and give you time to enjoy each plate. The first course was a simple course of a light cheese dumpling soup and warm fresh bread with a variety of spreads. We found this course an excellent introduction and the soup was exceptionally executed. The second course was a course of appetizers. This is the course we liked the best, the large number of small plates really made the meal feel lavish and each dish was high quality and made with care. I loved the grilled cheese and the spiced apple sauce served with the chicken was delicious. The third course was the entree course, consisting of a number of grilled steaks, poultry, and pasta dishes. The chicken was a bit salty for my tastes but the pasta and the steaks were competently prepared. Lastly, the fourth course was a delightful dessert consisting of flan, chocolate mousse, and a passion fruit mousse. The passion fruit mousse was especially good, but I think each of the desserts worked well to balance each other out. I would like to see dessert with some more variety of texture. The service was perfect, our waiters came around at just the right times and took care to tell us about the dishes on offer. I was equally impressed with the atmosphere. Overall, the dinner price is a little steep, but I think it is well worth it. We will certainly be returning!

It's a bit of a Brazilian steakhouse style (stuff is brought around and you say if you want some of it) and them bringing you the most massive amount of plates that you can ask to refill infinitely. Our bread, soup, and appetizer courses were highlights. The bread was great with multiple spreads, the soup was cooked perfect, and most of the appetizers had a unique twist and quality taste. We enjoyed our steaks and pasta enough, but some were just not worthwhile in small ways--there was a flavorless four cheese pasta for example, and the garlic parm chicken was somewhat salty. The picanha was a bit tough on the outside but perfect inside. None of it was blowing my socks off, but definitely on the good side. Lastly, our dessert course was wonderful. All 3 were perfect, and we were told by I presume the manager to focus on the passion fruit one, which was stellar. If I returned, I'd be interested in trying a fun drink. They have several non alcoholic options that caught my eye. We were very well waited on, and never were left wanting or waiting. The manager himself came around several times and chatted with us a bit. I wish the water glasses were larger so I wasn't pouring constantly, but that's a small gripe. Overall, we enjoyed it here and are already thinking of friends and family to bring next time!

Unfortunately, our lunch visit a couple of weeks ago was disappointing. There was no kalbi (Korean short ribs) on the buffet, but even more concerning was the quality of some of the sashimi, especially the salmon. It was unusually pale and lacked the rich, buttery flavor we've always come to expect here. I'm not sure if this is related to the lower than usual lunch pricing ($19.99-$23.99), but I'd gladly pay a few dollars more if it meant a return to the quality that made this place our go-to sushi buffet. We genuinely hope this was just an off day, because otherwise we'll likely have to start looking elsewhere.

As a former fan of "all you can eat" buffets, I noticed as I've gotten older, I'm no longer a fan of "all ya can eat", but hangin' out with da fellas is fun. What can I say about Japan House? 1. The restaurant had an extensive sushi menu for all you can eat. 2. Exceptional service! Our waitress was very attentive, she kept checking up on us and placed our food orders quickly. After placing the food order, the food came out quickly. 3. This restaurant was one of the first restaurants that used an electronic robot. The robot machine brought out the simple items, and I even saw the robot sing "Happy Birthday" to a restaurant patron. 4. The restaurant is casual, and pretty dark inside. 5. The sushi quality is about "middle of the road", not the best, but far from bad. What do you expect for all you can eat? Check out my pics.....
