Although it looks like a cake, I don't really know what it is. Next is some shrimp or prawns & I don't know what the other two are

It was really amazing. Beautifully decorated very helpful where the staff. The salmon was out of this world. I also had some of the bake seafood casserole. That was very delicious. I had some of the mushrooms and the fried shrimp that was very good. one of the ladies got some kind of chicken or something and she said it was really spicy but she ate it. She said it tasted so good. We really enjoyed ourselves. The ice cream machine was broke. All you could get was chocolate that it was delicious. I also got a cream puff. I don't know if anyone else in the group got dessert.

Food was good like usual today, but the service was sorely lacking. Half way through my meal before I got my soda and never got a refill. Hoping this was a one off, not a new standard!

Our family made a special trip out to Lin's Grand Buffet on a Wednesday night, and while the restaurant was busy, there was plenty of seating available. The menu offers a wide variety of Chinese dishes and some seafood, though the sushi was fairly basic and the dessert station consisted mostly of thawed frozen items and canned fruits. They do have a Mongolian grill and a steak station, but since both were manned by a single chef, the wait for a made-to-order steak was quite long and ultimately not worth the delay. While the pricing is fair for an "all you can eat" experience, the restrooms were in need of a deep cleaning and a serious upgrade. Overall, it's a decent, basic Chinese buffet if you are already in the neighborhood, but I wouldn't recommend driving out of your way for it when compared to other AYCE options.

Me, I do not have a photo of this restaurant in my phone.

The food is great, service is quick, and ambiance is nice. I have only done takeout! Please search this restaurant and if ever near by know dining in or taking out, I personally like the food.

So Janna and I came here for the first time at 7pm on a Friday night, they were so busy. I couldn't believe how long the line was, we were a party of 2 and the hostess to us to stay close by, we waited maybe 3 mins to be seated. The Choices, wow just wow, they had so many choices. I made the mistake of filling up my plate as I went. My plate was pretty full before I made it half way through their selections. I didn't even see the back row that had a sushi bar, steak bar, and a Mongolian Grill Bar before we were leaving. This place was craziness, the waitress/waiters that we had were exceptional, they must have had 20 tables and they stayed in top of everything. This place is great, the service was good and the food was good. The organization they have to have to pull this off is amazing! We'll be back!

The food was Mediocre. Some of the food was very good, and some was not so good. For the price, it's not bad. The restaurant was pretty large, and had decent ambiance. We had fast service, but after about 30 minutes of eating here, it felt like we were being rushed to leave. I would eat here again to give it another chance, but I would rather drive a little farther to the harbor seafood super buffet in phoenix.

The only place that I like for crab fish because it boil with jalapeño and not oily!

Ask the Community - Lin's Grand Buffet

What are your current prices for dinner?

About $16-17. Weekday lunch is the best deal at $13 and change! Read my review. Call them for exact prices!

    Is it still buffet?

Yes it is still a buffet! From providing hand-sanitizing stations to supplying you with disposable plates and flatware, we’ve taken every possible precaution to welcome you back to our buffet safely.

Do they have early bird pricing?

    No.

Do they always have steak as an option to eat?

Yes at the dinner time, everyday

What is the price for a single adult?

I believe we pay $14-15 a person on the weekend. Lunch on weekdays is cheaper. $2.50 more for a drink.

Whats the price to eat here? Are drinks included?

Drinks are not included, couple dollars extra with free refills. The price goes up on weekends & evenings. I believe we pay $14 a person usually, and totally worth it for the selection. There is a lower kids price too as I recall.

Just looking at the buffet was enough to make me regret this decision. Orange colored Lo mein noodles, some sort of fish dish in between the "orange chicken" and the "spicy chicken". We were seated within minutes of our reservation time, greeted promptly with water, and made to feel welcome right away. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave thoughtful recommendations based on our preferences. We started with several appetizers, including the carpaccio, Japanese milk bread, dumplings, and hamachi. Every single dish was memorable and something I'd gladly order again. The Japanese milk bread lived up to its reputation, and the hamachi was especially fresh and flavorful. For our entrees, we ordered the roasted chicken, surf and turf, and a side of Brussels sprouts. The chicken was cooked perfectly, tender, juicy, and practically cuttable with a butter knife. The steak was equally impressive, and the lobster was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. Even the Brussels sprouts were outstanding. The ambiance was another highlight. The restaurant felt upscale and refined without being stuffy. We came to celebrate a birthday following a difficult family tragedy and were hoping for a memorable evening. While there were definitely some highlights, the overall experience didn't live up to the restaurant's reputation or price point. The truffle baked potato was outstanding, and the Love Pillow pasta was absolutely delicious. However, the steaks were a different story. The ribeye was chewy and not cooked particularly well, and the Wagyu arrived overly charred and crispy on the outside, which took away from what should have been a premium dining experience. What stood out even more was the service experience. Throughout the evening, we noticed managers and staff checking in with many surrounding tables, yet no one ever stopped by ours to ask how our meal was or whether everything was satisfactory. After spending nearly $1,000 for four people, that level of attentiveness should be standard regardless of what guests are wearing or who they are. Another disappointment was the overall atmosphere around the service station. Being seated nearby, it was hard not to notice staff repeatedly slamming and tapping order books and equipment against the countertops. It created a distracting environment that felt inconsistent with the upscale dining experience Maple & Ash promotes. There also seemed to be a lot of staff and management congregating in one area while guests went unchecked. As someone who has lived in Scottsdale my entire life, I left feeling that the food quality and hospitality have declined from what I remember. There are simply too many great steakhouse options in the area that consistently deliver both exceptional food and professional service. Would I return? Probably not. For this price point, I'd choose Steak 44, where I've always felt appreciated as a guest and know what level of service and quality to expect. This version reads as thoughtful and credible, which tends to carry more weight with both readers and management.
