This place has such potential. Too bad the air conditioning doesn't work very well and good luck getting a refill on your drinks. The servers don't come around and ask if you need more drinks, you literally need to wave your arms to try to get their attention. The service is awful but the food is very good. Lots of different varieties of chicken and different Chinese dishes. My kids also liked the chicken nuggets and French fries. There's a Mongolian grill station, possibly 4+ different Chinese chicken options (orange, sweet & sour, jalapeno, chicken & broccoli), the usual carbs (fried rice, lo mein), and an ice cream machine to name a few. I'd say the best bang for the buck is to load up several times at the Mongolian station. Don't count on the sushi here :( For how busy it was and how little staff it seemed they had, service was good. Is the quality and taste great? No, but it's decent enough. For the price, you can't expect Lin's to even compare to any Vegas buffet. You come here for the sheer value and volume. read more

ALL the bathroom soap dispensers and hand sanitizer dispensers *in the building* were bone dry. That's seven empty dispensers with NO way for patrons or employees to wash their hands. Since it was (again) *ALL* of the dispensers, obviously they hadn't been filled in a while. I asked the employee at the front if they can fill them, and her response was a shrug and "do you want some hand sanitizer?". She pulled out a jug from from behind the desk that was also almost empty. My perspective is that you can tell how a restaurant keeps its kitchen by the way it keeps its bathrooms. Both M and F bathrooms were grimy, dark, and without any way to wash your hands. The food was mediocre, at best. We always come here for my nieces birthday, this is the third year in a row. We like to come for mothers day too. I loved that we could serve ourselves again, and I don't mind that we needed gloves and arrows for direction. The food is great, the service was excellent, my server didn't have a name tag on but she was super sweet and helped all seven of us with a wonderful attitude. Gotta say I was hoping for better. Came for lunch. No sushi actually had any real fish in it. Everything was extremely oily, and many dishes tasted the same. The dumplings had no meat in them. The Buffalo wings sauce was very salty and missed the creaminess of the real Buffalo flavor. Of the Chinese American staples, the beef/chicken with broccoli was the most palatable with the fried chicken variants (general tso, honey, sesame) fried to the point of being chewy. many of the other chicken dishes (kung pao etc) seemed to be cooked in the same pan with the same flavor sauce. As far as taste goes, the cheese wontons and the soft serve ice cream were the best, which isn't saying much. Normally at AYCE buffets, you are looking to overeat and take advantage of a great price, but after tasting just about every dish, there was no temptation to eat my fill. Friendly people, large selection & quite clean for your typical Chinese buffet. Food choices are plentiful, but nothing really stands out. The salads need to be rotated more often as the crutons were quite stale & they were pretty bland. They do have a large amount of chicken dishes to choose from along with a few seafood entrees. I really wanted to like this place because of the location. The restaurant is spacious and occupies the entire building. The flavor of the food wasn't bland but it didn't taste good either. It's missing the authentic Chinese flavor. To me, it's like they mixed soy sauce and Maggie liquid seasoning to season the stir-fry and brown sauce dishes. The stir fry station had little food options to create your own plate. No choice of creating your sauce. Very little seafood options. Not recommended for vegetarians. The one thing that was not bad is the Chinese donut. They were light an fluffy unlike most Chinese buffets where they are heavy and dense. The ambiance is great I love the setup the service was great loved the staff. The food was terrible every single thing was not up to the standards of every other single again buffet in the valley and I'm talking harbor, pacific, jogiya. That last one is in chandler. These people cannot server a boiled eggs for your salad that wasn't soggy. The chow mein was soggy the pot stickers were ok but you could tell they were from a bag. Mongolian grill was ok but you just need a decent cook for that. Needless to say they failed in the delivery of quality they failed in the delivery of variety. They failed me and my family with safety in the preparation of the food we ate because my family and mainly my 2 year old has had 2 diarrhea blowouts on my couch today so thank you lin and thank you to lins manager for also not listening to the issues that her location has and the shortcoming of her kitchen. This is my fave buffet. They have a lot of options including a fresh sushi bar, Steak Grill during dinner hours, build your own stir fry and of course 4 buffet tables of freshly made food. If you're low carb you will like the stir fry bar where I do veggies and meats no noodles and a steak then pick a few things off the pre-made. My fave is broccoli with chicken or beef and the BBQ spare ribs. Everything looks appetizing and tastes great. They are busy during dinner hours but 4 to 5pm is usually just right no or small wait. Lots of seating. We have done a birthday party for 20 once. Desert includes soft serve and they have chocolate and vanilla along with swirl. Pricing is about $17 a person for dinner and I think $3 or $4 for drinks. They have everyone wear a glove when at the buffet and using throw away plates and plastic cups for drinks. read more

We started coming to the Baseline location as soon as it opened. The staff here is amazing and always keep your drinks full and check to make sure everything is okay. (we didn't get a drink just food) We noticed that dinner cost a bit more so just be aware of that. I've never seen such a large buffet except in casinos and that is what I'd compare it to. A casino buffet with out the casino lol. you will enjoy it if you're a big eater or have a group that has a lot of different likes and dislike.
