I wasn't a real fan of their takeout, which is surprising because I've gone before to sit down for hibachi and that was great! I placed my online order at 11am when their website allowed me to. I was already not happy that I had to create a user account just to place an online order, but I did it because I wanted lunch. I got the 2 sushi rolls and salad for a little bit over $13. I picked the California roll and spicy California roll. I wasn't that impressed by the spicy sauce. The soy sauce they provided was way too salty (it was in a small cup). The salad was good. I also had to walk in at the 15 minute mark (after placing my order) to see what was going on, since I did not receive a text message that it was complete like the web site said. When I got there I paid but the order had not been started and I had to wait another 10 minutes or so to get it. The seating area also was not appealing. I never saw it the first time I came because it was empty when I came and was seated immediately.

Great service so sweet to the kids we had with us. Daiquiris had the best flavor and were very smooth. Sunrise roll was fresh and tempura was crunchy.

Sooo good and fast service. The staff is always so welcoming and pleasant. Sometimes they have a few gifts for kids that they share which keeps my kiddies always asking to come back. So smart! lol

**New Menu** Oh my word!!! SOOOO good.. we did sushi, not habachi. I felt like a celebrity with the attention to detail, the elegance of the restaurant, plating and freshness of the sushi, and phenomenal service. Also perfection in attention to allergies (shellfish)- I didn't get sick! The only thing I didn't like was the price! (Each sushi specialty roll is around $18 with no b1g1f). If we lived closer I would come much more often!

Super respectful of allergies! Kyle was a great Hibachi Chef who has been working for 11 years. Quite entertaining but on the quiet side. Still friendly and had a lot of fun with us. Really made the experience friendly and happy! There is plenty of parking so no worries there's no worries about that. There is a table area and then the hibachi area. It's comfortable and as casual as you make it. Inside is classy and the restrooms are golden, hehe. But the food is quite salty but you can ask the chef to adjust it to your liking! And there are many variations which is fun and enjoyable for everyone in your party!!

Great food. The Hibachi was a fun experience. I recommend getting sushi why you wait for the hibachi to start.

Love the food! However the prices have risen drastically for the poke bowls over the past few years which sucks but no complaints otherwise

It's a little bit tricky to find as the main sign is up as a sign which can be easy to miss. The space is intimate with limited self serve seating. They also have outdoor seating as well. Started out with the Crab Rangoon which was crunchy and crispy, filled with the Rangoon. The neighborhood bird was voted best chicken sandwich in Baltimore and I can see why. The sandwich is on a steam bun which had a sweetness to it. The chicken thigh is large and filling, seasoned well and goes well with the mayo, pickles and herbs. The crispy shrimp bowl came with fried shrimp lying on a bed of basmati rice, some pickled vegetables and herbs. Definitely have to mix all your ingredients together to get the maximum flavor. The Yuzu drinks were refreshing. The white peach flavor was delicious. Overrall the meal came up to $66 with a 20% tip. Seemed like a lot of people order online for pick up. There is no parking lot just gotta find street parking which was not difficult to locate.

My friend and I split the cost since we were planning on having a second lunch after this lol. The sandwich is a crab cake + softshell crab on a very soft bao bun. It was pretty good but it was alittle lukewarm since we were late for our pick up (so our bad). Very good sandwich with delectable flavors with the crab cake full of meat and the crunchiness of the softshell crab. Pretty solid sandwich! Im not sure if its worth the price point but I appreciated as is.

It's a bit of a conundrum to find the entrance; it's on the back side, up a flight of stairs. The dining room brims with families, couples, groups of friends, seniors--all walks of life. One table away from me, sat a father and young son heartily munching on their dinners. I decided to ask them about the menu. The father told me that they come here once a month because his son is a picky eater, but loves GuGu's cooking, so consumes everything on his plate; and the dad thinks the place is the bomb. Started with the gyoza appetizer and enjoyed it very much. My seaweed salad was fresh and generous although the dressing was not to my liking, however able to change it up with some soy sauce and wasabi. A red curry duck main that I went with was luscious, meaty and satisfying. All dishes were nicely presented. Service is professional. I appreciate the linen-like, deposable napkins that are a part of the place setting--nicely absorbent. I agree with others that it takes time for food to arrive, but worth the wait.

Each bento comes with rice, edamame, two steamed dumplings, miso soup, and a California roll. You can upgrade the roll for $2 so we got the shrimp tempura roll. They thoughtfully packed the sauce separately so that our shrimp and beef would not get soggy. The sauce for the yuzu shrimp was delicious. I really enjoyed the twist on the typical walnut shrimp dish. I liked the fried shrimp in the bang bang dish best. My only gripe about that dish was that there was not enough sauce. The shrimp in the Thai basil dish was small and I would not get that again. The miso soup was on the salty side for us but it is a generous portion. The shrimp tempura roll was good and comes with 5 larger pieces. Overall, I enjoyed the food here and think that they do a really nice job with take-out. Would come back here again when I'm in the area.
