I have to say I was really happy with the result the first two times I came in but this last time Tina did my refill and when I got home I noticed my eyes weren't even and the lashes looked a bit jenky. I came back the in two days and asked her to fix it but even after touching them up they still looked far from desired. Lisa's Beauty Salon kindly invited me back to the salon yesterday for a complimentary fix. They heard my concerns of having cluster/fans of 5 extensions on a single natural lash. Because I had chosen silk lashes, they recommended that I do 2 on 1 (and they would recommend 1 on 1 if using synthetic lashes). I was happy with the fix job that Annie, my lash tech, did. I got the volume mink eyelash extensions. While they looked pretty good, I think they were too long for the shape of my eyes and face. One eye clearly had more volume than the other also, so my eyes looked a bit uneven. While the lashes lasted for a good 4 weeks, I could not wait for them to fall off. When they became loose, they would flip every which way (upside down, sideways) without actually falling off, and I would have to straighten them out manually. It was really annoying, and towards the end I was just trying to gently tug them off! To be clear, Tina was not the one who did my lashes, and I forgot the name of the person who did. I very much wish I had insisted on having Tina do mine, since everyone here seems to think her work is great. read more

Got the groupon for eyelash extensions thinking I would get salon quality but I guess you get what you paid for... The session lasted 1 hour which is usually 2 at a normal salon. I upgraded to mink for 30$ more but even that was low quality. Eyelashes started falling out within the hour and by the next day even more fell out. Volume Mink Full Set Eyelash Extensions by Tina are AMAZING. Yes, you'll pay an arm and a leg, but long, beautiful, curled, natural eyelashes are definitely worth it. These lashes are beautiful, very good quality, feel natural, and last longer than three weeks for sure. Tina is very sweet and she talks to you throughout the session to get to know you. The room is small, but who needs relaxing music with a candle-lit room and a Tempur-Pedic bed when all you need are lashes (it would be nice though for the price you're paying, LOL)? The only annoying things is that sometimes, my eyes get super watery from the glue and irritates it for a second so I just have to take something to dab my eyes with a towel; everything is back to normal after that. Other lash extensions took my real eyelashes out, hurt my eyes a lot, or the esthetician was careless and didn't do a good job. Tina is very, very good at what she does. I can't wait to go back for a fill (if you lose that card they give you for discounts for a fill after 2 weeks and after 3 weeks, then they can still look it up, but the process takes forever so hold onto that card!). read more

This is my second time coming here - the first time was for a facial (which was great), this time it was for eyelash extensions. I originally was incentivized to go because I purchased a groupon for my mother and myself. I made a same day appointment - super easy! I also live a few blocks away - even more easy! It was my first time getting eyelash extensions so I was a bit nervous and didn't know what to expect. I just knew I wanted something natural enough to wear to work. Tina was very helpful and walked me through it. She also gave recommendations which I very much appreciated. I had a choice between the type of curl. The more curly, the more expensive. I decided to go with straight because it looked more matte. The curlier ones were a bit too shiny for me. The whole process took about an hour. I think I might have dozed off a few times and twitched (lol) while she worked on me. I would definitely come back. It's really nice waking up in the morning and not having to put on mascara every time. It has been a few days already and each morning, maybe 1 or 2 lashes fall out at the same rate of your real lashes. Next time I come back, which will be before I go on my honeymoon, I'd like to try the fuller, curlier set. read more

Been getting my lashes done for years and my standards for lash techs/experiences are high, as they should be. Gave Lisa's lash a chance twice and I think that's enough to give a fair review of my experience. First, the lash studio was kinda dirty. Beds were pretty dirty and used lashes were all over the bed. Booking with one person, but end up with another. Seems common w/ many lash spots which I do not like. If you're a Groupon girlie, note that sketchy things can happen. First time it happened to me, they didn't take my Groupon and asked me to return an already paid Groupon and pay them cash. Bait and switch once they get a customer in. Heard them telling another customer the same thing as I was leaving. Not a good practice. Also noticed they go heavy on the glue. I also notice that with other customer's pics. I've had my lashes from here removed by other lash techs twice now and they've confirmed that heaviness on the glue. read more

This is my first time getting my lashes done in two years and this was the first place I went to. It's super affordable (even at this moment/time) and it is so nicely and professionally done. I really love my lashes. I went there two weeks ago and got a natural full set for $89 and my lashes was done by Annie. She was super sweet and did my lashes super well and so cute. I went back there today to get a refill (which were 50% off a two week refill) and this time my refill was done by Tina and it's also very nicely and well done. The 75-minute facial was super relaxing and Mei was fabulous! I was a little hesitant because there were few reviews for the facials (to my understanding the spa side is relatively new) but I'm so glad I gave them a chance. The staff was very sweet and I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep several times. I found this place via Groupon ($59 for a 75-min facial), but I highly recommend cutting out the middle man and instead asking them to honor the price WITHOUT the Groupon. That's what I did and they were more than accommodating. It was a win-win. Note: The room was private and some of the nearby booths were only separated by curtains. In the room itself the noise level is minimal, but not silent. Also, there was no paperwork or discussion prior to the appointment to assess skin sensitivity or allergies, but my skin was bright and radiant nonetheless. Not only did they squeeze me in last minute (I called the same day as appointment), but Karen did a great job on my eyelash extensions and they all talked me through the different options before starting. I came in thinking I wanted a natural, mink set, but with their help, decided on the 'in between' natural and dramatic, so it still looked natural (didn't want it to look fake), but wouldn't make me feel tempted to wear mascara, since that is not recommended. It is sad when they fall out one by one...I've probably lost about 8 or so (out of about 160 total) in 3 days, but I love how much time I save from not having to put on mascara (or even eye makeup, since I feel like I don't need it now!) I do also take careful showers and wash my face differently, not rubbing my eyes, so these puppies will stay on as long as possible (I'm in Hawaii for the next 2 weeks.) My roommate even said how surprised she was that it looked so natural! She said she's seen other people who got them elsewhere, and it looked fake. She was impressed! Only downside is knowing how addicted I could get to this and it's not cheap. But their deals they offer definitely help make them more competitive and along with their proximity to my home, it was an easy choice for me! And I'll be back. ;) read more

Decided to hit this place up for the Groupon, but it seems that they actually prefer that you call in and ask about it instead of using the Groupon. May worked very quickly on my eyelashes; I was in and out in about one hour. The longevity of these lashes and the flutteriness I def give an A plus for. I would have gone for the mink lashes she showed me which looked really good, but decided that I did not want to pay fifty more dollars $$$. I got the volume set, which looked more 'classic' to me. but that's probably because I am used to a more dramatic look. These lashes are probably the most long-lasting lashes I've had and they are soft to touch, which I really like. I do wish I had gotten them a bit longer, but was worried that they would just look way too unnatural and weird for my eye shape. My left eye seems a bit more dramatic than my right since I find myself having to push the lashes on my right eye up more. I just might have to come back for a two week fill for a longer and more dramatic look. But this is a pretty good deal for some natural-looking/feeling lashes. read more

When I went in for my lash appointment, the technician didn't clean my eyelids, She just started applying lashes. I woke up the morning after lash application with crusty debris at the base of my lashes, which is a symptom of blepharitis. I am agoraphobic; I have anxiety specifically traveling from place to place which is why I waited to see if my condition would improve on it's on within 3days but it did not. I returned to the salon to have the lashes removed and did not even receive a refund or an apology. I visited an opthamologist who said I have a BACTERIAL INFECTION. The money spent on visit + antibiotics cost $320. So now I am $485 out of pocket from visiting Lisa's Salon. I am not returning to pay more for another catastrophic experience. read more

The. She told me I have to pay upfront for the service ( which is new to me ) I came here before and I was charged after the service. I was fine with it and gave her the payment and she insisted I leave tip for the service I haven't yet received! Another client was behind me and she asked to get eyelashes and they didn't ask her to pay upfront they just took her directly to the service area!‍ I received the service and unlike the owner the girl who helped we was very sweet and professional!! She did amazing job ( her name is Yo Yo ) she escorted me back to the register and I told her I already paid. I can see her face confused! And she asked me again and told her they asked me to pay upfront. Why did she assume I can't pay? ( so now I understand this rule was just for me) very disappointing how Lisa treated me ! I love my set of Natural eyelash extensions! I went in for the first time in my life getting extensions and Maggie was so sweet, I had a horrible off and on cough nearing the end of my cold. I was embarrassed to distract her from doing her job and she was so patient, offered warm water and even a cough drop! She ended up doing an amazing job on my set and they lasted 3 weeks until I went in for a fill and then Jane did that set and also super sweet, patient and those turned out amazing as well!
