The Star of the SHOW Little Anthony's, our first time there, and had breakfast today there and It was 10/10 food, 10/10 Service and Server Maria was SO SO SWEETTTTTT and THE STAFF MANAGEMENT ALSO 10/10 Ambiance was so so cool, I sorely miss our Diner and Cafe days. So greatful they got a few in Tucson area! Just recently moved back to my home state one of them. And got a home recently as we are Retired now, life has changed ALOT since I was living here in AZ (have lived in AZ for over 39 yrs and have lived all over the U.S., But still call AZ home! Husband is from CALI born and raised and loves loves AZ.. My family does also part of them live in East valley and west valley also. Loved the food was very very good!!! I was STARVING also. I wish they had one closer to us folks we are on the southeast side of Tucson where Haughton rd. is. Definitely a change from where we were at before 4 months ago in Riverside CA Inland Empire, miss it also, but the people are more friendly somewhat down in AZ. So ordered Belgian waffle combo was SUPER GOOD n frozen iced mocha frappe was excellent, and he ordered the omlette with hash browns soft a Starry, and french toast total without tip came to 25.83 Cannot beat that! And are disabled and seniors and Veterans also, TYSM MARIA AND HOST I think her name is Jersey Sunshine she is such a sweetheart also and the BUSBOY was BUSTING A MOVE TO idk his name shout out to that young man also, working so so hard and so polite. I was aware of this place, but never went in; just cause it's on the other side of town. I had multiple people recommend the pizza, so I came by to try it. Best pizza in town. Crust is soft, with a crispy bottom; makes every bite great. Sauce n pepperoni are just right; it's not the oregano-heavy sauce you get at Brooklyn Pizza (). I'm from New Jersey; I've had some great pizza in my day. I was pleasantly surprised by how good this pizza was. And the staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly, and it was sincere. They were genuinely happy to be there, and that's a reflection of the management/ownership, so high marks all around! Also... They DO have a full menu with plenty of other items that looked delicious on other peoples' plates, but we only got the pizza:) read more

We got to the diner right before 11am and they were doing the switch over from breakfast to lunch. Our waitress was Keria and she was amazing. After we were sat, she promptly took our drink orders and gave us time to look at the menu. She was getting tables in her section left & right but moved around with grace (including dealing with an 8 rop that waited almost 30 minutes for their party to arrive). She took our order and the food was piping hot when it came out. She refilled our drinks and water and cashed us out right on time! I like this diner but my son LOVES it even more. He likes pointing out all the signs on the wall and never misses a chance to play in the arcade. The menu options are exciting and delicious and a lot of items are fresh made daily. Their online menu ordering is easy to follow, even for me. Take a run at Little Anthony's, you may be surprised at the cost and value. There are no small portions at this place. Today I needed three club sandwiches. I called Subway and they won't have bread until 1115 and then she told me that well they have a big catering job so I probably shouldn't come in until 1130. Doesn't work for me since my lunch is at 11:30. I called Safeway and they don't make fresh sandwiches anymore. I could get them out of the deli sandwiches. She thinks they made some yesterday morning. That would still be pretty good. Not for me. I've even tried e.g.'s, but I became so confused over their online menu that I gave up. I've ordered from Baggins before, but by the time I got through my order, it was $80 and for three club sandwiches I think not. Little Anthony's my order was complete in seconds. After seeing Little Anthony's Diner on a Tucson travel video, I made it a point to visit when in town. It's amazing retro diner vibes with bright interiors, classic photos adorning the walls, and vintage cars out front immediately drew me in as I love places with some personality, and I was not disappointed. The place was busy and hopping with customers at 4 PM on a weekday afternoon. Since it wasn't a meal time for me, I hopped on a stool at the ice cream parlor and ordered a milkshake, but not before taking a tour of the place, snapping a few photos, and taking in the old school Americana vibes. The wait staff all wore matching colored outfits, music was festive, and the place even had a small arcade/game room. The only deduction was for the cookies and cream milkshake I ordered, as it was merely average with regards to taste and not as thick in consistency as I would have liked, but it did have decent cookie pieces embedded in the ice cream, and they did offer whipped cream, sprinkles, and a cherry on top as I imagine any bygone era soda fountain/ice cream parlor would. Apart from the ice cream, they had other desserts and a comprehensive diner food menu, which looked decent from the few dishes I observed coming out of the kitchen. It's located right next to the Gaslight Theatre, which looks like a tourist trap from the outside, but is worth a visit too as it's got stunning interiors. Excited! Haven't been here since I was a kid. 50s style diner attached to the gaslight theater. We were celebrating my nephews birthday (9). They have lots of interacted things you can do while you wait to be seated (head hole celebrities, historic cars, and a pony ride). It was a short 5 min wait until we were seated. They had a live DJ that was so much fun and made the whole experience very interactive. The kids participated in all the competitions including limbo, dance, and trivia. They won a bunch of ice cream tickets for all their effort. We tried the pizza, salad, burger and they were all pretty good! Exactly what we needed for a fun and exciting birthday! read more

You must go to this place if you're visiting Tucson!! Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and wow it so much better than we expected. We're visiting from San Diego and we saw this place had a lot of Elvis decor and my boyfriend is an Elvis super fan so we decided to check the place out. We get there and the outside is just awesome we took many pictures with the cars and other props. The inside was even better, the detail they put on there 50s theme is noticeable we were very impressed. We got seated right away. Our server was so kind and understanding! We thought that since the restaurant was focused on the theme that maybe the food wasn't going to be so good but we were so wrong! We both got burgers and they were so yummy and great size. The onion rings were the best onion rings I have ever had, very flavorful. You must try! I told our server it was my boyfriend's birthday and they surprised him with a big beautiful ice cream sundae, they also sang happy birthday to him, it was very special. Great home style food with great ambiance. Totally fun! And there are adult milkshakes, crazy milkshakes, and lots of other sweet treats. The meatloaf is really tasty, and the chicken fried steak is even better! And the mashed potatoes - buttery homemade deliciousness! The green beans are from a can, but that does not make me sad. Yummy rolls to soak up the gravy of whatever meal you get. And you need to save room for one of those desserts!!!! There is a cute arcade to keep the kids busy before or after the meal is served. We stopped by for some lunch during a day of shopping. The place is super cute with a 50s diner theme. Our server was very pleasant and checked in with us often. The three of us ordered the appetizer combo to start and each of us got a different burger with a different side to try more things. The appetizer combo was good - how wrong can you go with deep fried goodness? We ordered two different burgers and the fisherman. The burgers were cooked as requested, tasty and juicy. The fish and chips was nicely fried with a good portion of fish. We tried the fries, tots, and house chips. I'm always a big fan of homemade chips and these didn't disappoint. Next would be the tots as they were super crispy and the fries last. They were regular fries - good but nothing spectacular. Overall we left full and happy having enjoyed a good meal in a fun place with good service. We'll definitely be back. read more

It's been years since I've visited Little Anthony's and I was looking forward to the kitschy retro atmosphere and well-executed diner fare. Unfortunately, I'm not able to review the food because we left after 15 minutes passed and our table had not been acknowledged. The one star is for the quick seating. There's was no wait for a table at 9 am on a Sunday. That was the first clue something was off. The second signal was the lunch menus we were given instead of the breakfast version. The mixup would be understandable if they weren't dramatically different styles. The lunch version is a letter sized, multi-page booklet while the breakfast menu is a double-sided, laminated poster. I watched as another patron went up to the hostess stand and exchanged lunch menus for breakfast. We did the same. Then I watched as the hostess proceeded to give out lunch menus to newly arrived patrons who eventually figured out the mistake and also went up to the stand to exchange for the proper menu. During all this time, we were not offered water, an apology for the wait nor acknowledgement of any kind. Realizing we had made the wrong choice for our breakfast out, we left and proceeded to Bisbee Breakfast Club where we were seated, brought water, ordered and received our food in roughly the same amount of time we waited at Little Anthony's. read more

I've dined in once and I got to-go once, both experiences were great. Teagan was our waitress when we dined in and she was so nice. She was great and checked on us when necessary. Naomi took and handled our phone order and she was great as well, I called 10 minutes before breakfast was to end because I thought the diner served breakfast all day. She still took our order and we were able to get what we wanted. The food was great both times. I absolutely love the chicken fried steak! We moved here pretty recently so I was super excited to find this place and try it out. The diner and the area around it is so cute. Very old school, which I appreciate a lot. The diners in California all closed down around where I lived, so I enjoyed Little Anthony's thoroughly. read more

This restaurant is in a large shopping center and unfortunately, it's parking lot is horribly damaged with huge pot holes, etc. Whoever owns the lot definitely needs to upgrade their asphalt. But don't judge this restaurant by the parking lot! This adorable and hip diner has a live DJ playing your favorite 50s jukebox tunes that's sure to transform you in time!! They sing "Happy Birthday " aloud & make a big deal over it! Super fun! Decor is what you'd expect from an old time diner. Plenty of seating. They accept reservations, too. There's even a cute dining experience in one of their renovated classic trailers. It's perfect for a fun girl's night or brunch! Service was very friendly, too! Alexis was our waitress and she was very helpful and friendly. We both ordered chicken salads and while good, just nothing extraordinary. I found my chicken a bit overcooked and on the dry side. The fried zucchini was great! I will definitely return and order something new to try! Their desserts menu is full of yummy-sounding items. Little Anthony's is a fun place to grab a dessert with friends and family! We went on a Friday night and there were live performances by Elvis and Marilyn Monroe as well as a DJ that consistently cracked family-friendly jokes. The food is a little greasy in my opinion, however the main reason I wanted to go was the incredible shakes and they didn't disappoint. We had the birthday cake and s'mores shakes, while both were good I preferred the cake shake. There was an entire slice of cake on top of the shake, so if for any reason you're debating between a shake or cake, you can get a 2 for 1 deal and get the "it's my party" shake! my review is on, Anfermy, who cleans the tables when the people leave. my friend & i were in the waiting line for a few minutes which gave me the time to observe Anfermy's EXCELLENT work ethics. as soon as people left, he was at the table clearing, cleaning & wiping off the tables. what caught my attention was that he worked diligently & fast. now a days, you can't find people to work who actually care about their job & strive to do it well. nothing against younger people but they seem to want the money but not work for it. this wasn't the case with Anfermy. he worked hard & fast & best of all, always wearing a smile which only made my experience watching him even better. :) when we were being sat, i went over to him & told him how impressed i was with the job he was doing. his smile grew even bigger. the whole time we ate he kept working the same way. i told him his parents would be proud of him if they saw his work ethics. Giving one star because we never got to taste the food. We arrived, hostess told us it was a 20 minute wait, we sat outside to wait our turn, we started to watch people arriving after us being seated. We asked what was happening, hostess apologized and sat us. Mind you, I've never been to this place and was excited to try the food. We ordered and waited and waited and waited people that had arrived after us were getting their food. After about an hour we asked the waitress about our food, she checked and we were told it wasn't ready yet. At that point we asked to cancel the order and the tab for the three drinks we had been served. I have been boycotting this restaurant for over three years because I felt unsafe with the majority of the diners were wearing guns on their hip and were drinking beer. To me guns and beer don't mix well. I had an appointment with someone and he wanted to eat there. Was I surprised. It is back to a family diner. Not one person was carrying a firearm. There was a car show going on and the restaurant was very busy. I had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated. Our waitress (I think her name was Claudia) immediately took our drink order and gave us the menu. Traditional dinner menu and everything looked delicious. I ordered a cheeseburger without the bun. I asked to have it medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. The ff were ok and the onion rings looked amazing. I also ordered a takeout for my wife and two milkshakes for us. I am handicapped and have a hard time walking, so I asked the waitress if a busboy could help me carry the takeaway to the car because I was parked farther away because of the car show. Instead of using a busboy, she carried it to my car. This is a really taking customer service to the max. We will be eating there again. read more

We stayed here as part of the Harvest Host program (would otherwise not have known about it) and really enjoyed the retro atmosphere. Didn't realize there was a show every night and the show the Monday night we were there had been sold out for months! Food is typical "American" fare and although I generally prefer "healthier" food, we treated ourselves to ice cream which was delicious and very reasonably priced! Had breakfast the next morning; hubby loved his traditional breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast but I should have chosen wiser as the cinnamon roll French toast was way too sweet for my taste - oh well! The decor is fun but what makes this place shine is Christy, the manager. She is a jewel!! She gave us a tour of the theatre and the backstory of the diner along with suggestions of what to do in the area. We will definitely be back for a show! read more
