Mood - Potstickers When you first walk in there are several booths. There is a menu on the wall as you walk along, then you go up to the counter to order, and find your seat. This was a bit confusing as there are no signs pointing you in the right direction. Telling you what to do ect. ( typical signage seat yourself blah blah ) none of that. The interior was clean, the staff was friendly. I got my food in a fairly quick amount of time. The Potstickers I got were chicken. No other fillers, just meat. It's been 13 years since we moved to Vegas and this was actually the very first place we ate at when we arrived. It's just a small place in a strip mall but up to now we keep coming back to them (even though we now live 30-45 minutes away). They have the best salt and pepper shrimp in America, period! You can include any luxury restaurant in Las Vegas and they wouldn't be able to compete with this tiny charming place. And theirs is the only salt and pepper squid that I can actually chew with no effort! Their fried rice is never too salty or overwhelming and my favorite among their fried rice selections is the pineapple fried rice (which, surprisingly, I can still order even though I no longer see it in their menu). A simple item such as an egg drop soup is always taken for granted in any Chinese restaurant but their version of that is so rich that my son would simply dump rice on his bowl of soup and make a meal out of it, and he could do that everyday if we'd let him. Anyway, the staff is so friendly and there's somebody who's been there all thirteen years that we went to this unassuming place. Looked this restaurant up on Yelp!. It showed that they closed at 9:30pm so we had time since we were in the area. Got there at 8:30pm got seated very quickly. They brought menus over and we selected the food we wanted to order. When the guy came over to take our order (8:40pm) he said they close at 9:00pm. The sign outside said they close at 9:30pm. WTH? Even if we ordered we get our food at the earliest at 9:00pm, when they close?!?! If you plan to eat here know that their hours are off and don't correspond to what they advertise on Yelp! and their window. read more

I don't know about the other location, but the Northwest location of Little Dumpling off of Skypoint Drive in the Target shopping center is a fantastic family run restaurant. They are always serving up some of the freshest Thai or Chinese food in the Northwest. They have a fantastic lunch special that is so cheap and tasty! You owe it to yourself to go and try this place. I ordered delivery for this place after finding my go-to place closed. The chicken pad thai noodles were alarmingly orange in color and mushy. I know the sauce can stain and color the noodles, but I'd never had them that color. Usually they are a muted rusty reddish orange. Despite the neon hue, they didn't actually have much flavor. The pad see ew noodles were also overcooked and mushy, and the sauce was overly sweet. Pad see ew is usually my favorite, so I was disappointed by its lack of flavor and sweetness. The meat(chicken and beef) in both dishes lacked color and flavor. All in all, it just seemed like the food was missing something. I don't know if it was simply because I didn't order any of my food hot or what, but I have never had a problem with dishes lacking flavor anywhere else when I ask for less of a spicy kick. read more

Well what can I say about this place except it's mediocre at best. The pad Thai was slimy and way too sweet the vegetable and chicken had no flavor. It comes with soup and for $1.00 more you can get wonton soup. I had to ask for the meat as mine didn't have any and my husbands did. The egg roll was greasy and tasteless. I went for the lunch special where you get your choice of Thai or Chinese dish, choice of rice, choice of soup and spring roll for $6.50... what!... six fifty... in 2019 $6.50 lunch! BAD FOOD AND BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! We dined in for dinner. We used to go to Little Dumplings on Decatur and 215, but they closed. So we decided to give this place a try. Crab Rangoons were sweet and have no crab favor. The Tom Ka Soup with shrimp, also SUPER sweet and lots of onions and no flavor of lemon grass at all. Pad Thai with beef, the noodles were not fully cooked, the sauce was terrible. Bad customer service, the waitress never came to see if we needed anything. The food was great with nice portions. The kids got sweet and sour pork and sesame chicken. Typically they are pretty bland dishes but the flavor was great without being spicy. Adults got Thai spicy beef noodles and yellow curry chicken. Both were outstanding. Potstickers we're fantastic and great flavor. The service was very fast and friendly. I'm a sucker for their pad thai. Their chow mein is always so good too. Honey walnut shrimp is a must once and awhile because it is just, yummy!! Also their sweet and sour pork is what got me hooked to this place. This place is also always so clean, people complain about the smell when they walk in. I've gotten used to it. But it is clean and you can sit anywhere. At least when they get health inspections, they always pass. Grand china always fails their health inspections. I wonder why? I also come here to get their taro boba. I love boba and theirs is just sweet and the boba is nice and chewy. I love the food here. It is so good. The location is small but intimate. The atmosphere is family friendly. The cook definitely has a sense of good food and taste. I love the pineapple fried rice but I love mine with shrimp. The walnut shrimp is super scrumptious and from time to rime I find myself craving it so much. The wait staff is extremely friendly. Our waitress Liz was so nice and really pretty, she gave us some recommendations of things to do around town and we talked about football. This little place has amazing food. Frist all vegetables are fresh. No frozen or canned peas or canned mushrooms. That is a plus for any veggy enthusiasts. The Crab Rangoons are served with a chilli sauce which only adds to the spice inside the rangoon. Servings are large and filling. The Egg Foo Yung is the BEST I have tasted anywhere in Las Vegas. We've been looking for a good Chinese place in the northwest and haven't had much luck. I saw Little Dumpling when I was at Target in the same shopping center, so I bookmarked it on Yelp. Even though the reviews were varied, I had to give it a shot for myself. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. After looking over the menu, we decided on the BBQ pork appetizer. I went with the orange chicken and my husband went with the sesame chicken. Our appetizer came quickly and it was good, but not the best BBQ I've ever had. Our food came as we were finishing the app up. We were given our plates (mine a small order, and my husband's the large) and a bowl of steamed rice to share. If you're going to go family style, get the large orders and share. Otherwise, a small is perfectly generous portion for you to eat alone. My orange chicken was perfect-it had the crispy fried texture but was moist and tender on the inside, and the sauce was sweet but savory. My husband reported that his sesame chicken was good as well, but a large serving was definitely too much and he was able to take some home. Our service was great-the drinks were refilled multiple times, and even when they started getting busier, we weren't neglected.
