Little Dumpling is a small casual Chinese/American & Thai Restaurant located in the Centennial Area. It is not a fancy place but it seems clean. Soft beverages are served here. We started out by sharing the potstickers. They are OUTSTANDING here. One of the only places around that prepares them correctly with a crispy bottom. The filling was good too. For the entrees they offer spicy heat levels here from one - ten and then they also offer a crazy spicy heat level of twenty for the insane. I tried heat level number 5 and that was plenty hot and hotter than what most American/Chinese serve. I tried the spicy garlic chicken. It was a generous serving of tender white chicken and lots of vegetables. It did run a tad sweet for my taste but still was good. My husband tried the Kung Pao with beef at heat level number seven. He also received a generous plate with lots of vegetables, tender beef, and lots of heat. The sauce was unique. It came in a spicy black bean sauce made with Szechuan Peppercorns. Our server was really helpful and attentive. We plan to come back and try more! Worth a Try!

we did takeout for our meal. The food is delicious. The portions are very good for the price.

Black bean chicken, no onions.. best I've had in Vegas and better than ones I've had back home in Hawaii

This review has been a long time coming and what a better time to do it then now. I see all the old negative feedback people have put since they were on dirty dining years back. I've never had a bad experience here and I feel like it's even better these days. I've been coming here for 7 plus years and will say the food is always consistent for me. They still keep their prices low compared to so many other places I've tried like this but I still end up making the drive to eat here because of the taste, price and amount of food they give you. We always get good service and the place is nostalgic for us even though it could use a good face lift but I guess that's how they can keep prices low still so I am not going to complain on that too much. They only change that they have now beside a little price increase because of the cartoon world we are living through with the government rising costs on us all is that, if you pay with a card there will be a 3.5% fee so I always remember to bring cash so I can enjoy paying the lower cost. My Wife kids and I will continue to come here because we do enjoy the flavor and amount of food we all get for the 6 of us and I don't even pay over $40 to keep us full and happy. I hope people will read this review and keep those negative ones out of their minds from 3-8 years ago. Give it a try if you like some good Chinese food for a good price.

Honey walnut shrimp... really Lemmon shrimp

Honey walnut shrimp is really lemon walnut shrimp. But they sure came with lots of shrimp 16-20 count per pound. But I didn't care for the soup either hot and sour or corn. Nice small Chinese mom and pops place... clearly not a Thai place so I think skipping Thai is the right call.

There food is always made fresh and even with the phone constantly ringing with pick up and to go orders. The server took great care of us inbetween calls.

The Good: Very friendly staff and the restaurant is clean. That's 2 stars. The Bad: Kung Pao Chicken: Spice Lv 10: Chicken tasted off, the vegetables were cooked perfectly, but the baby corn ruined the flavor profile of the entire dish. Everything, except the chicken, tasted like baby corn. Not spicy at all and not enjoyable. Spicy Noodle w/ Pork: Spice Lv 10: Terribly bland. The entire dish tasted like greasy noodles. I don't even know if they put the pork in there to be honest. Egg/spring roll: Traditional frozen rolls featuring ginger, veggie mush, ginger, and even more ginger. Nobody I know likes these rolls, but lots of Chinese Restaurant love to put them on the menu. Hot and Sour Soup: Soup was really good, except for the freezer burned meat.

Decided to try this restaurant since our regular asian restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. Seated ourselves and soon was greeted and provided menus. Friendly service although they were busy with take out orders. Menu has a large selection of items. We tried the Won Ton soup, sesame chicken and Hong Kong noodles which were all good and we had enough left over for next day's lunch.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? (check soy sauce, fish sauce, seasoned rice vinegar for wheat, barley, rye & triticale. Rice noodles not cooked in water used for wheat noodles.) I have Celiac disease & must eat gluten free.

The dining area is long and narrow with vaulted ceilings, very high end Chinese decor mixed with a modern contemporary vibe in the lighting and the furnishings. You turn down the lights and it's definitely a date night type of place. The service was phenomenal from beginning to end. Alex took care of us from walking in all the way to dessert He was witty, funny and took the extra time to explain the intricacies of the dishes we inquired about. The experience was phenomenal lead by him and backed up by the kitchen and the rest of the team. He talked us into the duck special which came with duck soup, salt-n-pepper duck and whole duck carved at the table by Alex. Duck Soup - Delicious and savory broth. The cuts were tender and delicious. The best I've had in a long time. Salt N Pepper Duck - A crispy duck dish I've never had before. Good times. Guo Bao Pork - Creative, delicious and I understand why this is a feature dish. Green Beans - Perfect veggie pairing for all this food. The portions were so generous and I had 3 containers of food to take home for dinner. I appreciated the birthday dessert at lunch to finish off the experience. Well, that was a fantastic first visit. It definitely won't be the last as I see a dinner visit in the near future. Cheers!

Our favorite dishes were the Sizzling Beef in Black Pepper Sauce, Braised Sea Bass Clay Pot, Chili Fish Soup, and Green Beans. The duck was decent, but a but gamier and less oily and juicy than most of us were used to. We had higher expectations for the Sliced Beef and Ox Tongue in chili sauce. This is a cold appetizer which was fine, but did not have the depth of spice or aromatics that we were hoping for. Unfortunately the crispy beef wasn't great in our opinion and reminded me personally of the meat quality at Panda Express. Maybe this dish was meant to cater more to the Western palate. Service was relatively quick, including our duck being sliced up. The interior is elaborately decorated which surprised me as the building appears to be quite simple from the outside. I would consider visiting again next time I'm in the Vegas area.

It is located in the Trop Plaza on Tropicana Ave and Decatur Blvd. Plenty of parking. Spacious inside with lots of seating. Klaws and other games were near the entrance which I find interesting especially in a Chinese restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. They weren't super busy on a Monday late morning. Our server was pleasant and amicable. He attended to us frequently throughout our dining. Other lady servers brought us our food timely. Thank you All! Menu offers quite a variety... reg dim sum, delicious dim sum, chef specialties, house specialties, super dim sum, vegan no-meat dim sum, congee, noodles, rice dishes, appetizers, entrees, lunch specials, and more. Prices of the dim sum vary from $5.98 and up. We chose a handful of dim sum and one Shrimp & Pork Wonton Egg Noodles. Overall, dim sum was decent. A few of them could have been better in preparation, flavor, and taste. Wonton noodles were tasty. *Bean Sauce Chicken Feet - skin was on the tougher side, could have been more tender, sauce was too thick, flavor was okay *Crispy Taro Pancake - top layer was crispy, but taro fell apart when picked up by chopsticks *Egg Tarts - light and flaky crust with soft, smooth & jiggly egg custard filling, amazingly good, definitely would get again, wished it came with 3 instead of 2, they are bigger than normal egg tarts, but still *Fried Pork Ball - just okay, nothing special *Golden Sand Lava - huge baked bun with lots of oozing sandy egg yolk, must get! *Shrimp Dumpling - full of shrimps in thin skin, tasty filling, good size, worth the price! *Shrimp & Pork Chives Dumpling - more chives than shrimp and pork, flavor was mediocre *Shrimp & Pork Shumai - surprisingly flavorful, but wished there was more shrimp than pork Glad we got a chance to try this place. I would return to try their other dim sum and lunch specials in future LV visits. Worth stopping by if you haven'ty already.

Tripe stew had good flavor but texture was mushy (passed the point of tender) Service was fine, staff was available when needed, but overall felt quality/ambiance could be better. I have taken friends, clients, and colleagues, and the response has been uniformly positive. The menu has changed over time, but the dim sum classics are all there, often with a nouveau twist. What really got me was coming for dinner with a large group, where we could really savor the seafood, noodle, and meat dishes. I'm not going to run down the list because everything I've tried has been excellent, and I've tried most of the menu. We always enjoy decapitating the crispy mochi ducklings, filled of course with minced pork. The wagyu steak and wagyu fried rice, the xiao long bao with vinegar caviar, and salt and pepper tofu are all winners. The interiors are beautiful and give a different feel wherever you sit. We had what I think was a decent amount for 5 people and paid over $200 without any of the more expensive menu items, only dumplings. For the price and what we got, I don't think it was worth the price tag. Alright, the foods. Pork soup dumplings, rainbow shrimp dumpling, pork shrimp shu mai, chicken shu mai, bbq pork bao buns, pork belly bao buns, the ducklings, crunch dragon wings, chicken satay, and the eel crispy rice. Everything was good, but the best of the bunch were the pork soup dumplings and the eel crispy rice. The pork soup dumplings came with a black vinegar "caviar" that complimented the flavors in the soup portion. The crispy eel rice had a great char on the eel and the rice was crispy without being overly crunchy. According to kid 3, the notable mention was the crunch dragon wings that had the "perfect spice and really crunchy skin." Oh, and kid 1 was not a fan of the ducklings, she realized that she's not a fan of 5-spice which these had an overpowering flavor of. Overall, great experience but for the price we paid vs what we got was not worth it. The lychee martini! That was sensational, if you're 21 and enjoy a sweeter cocktail, this one is for you! Service was top notch, the ladies and gentlemen know what they are doing there.
