I visited this amazing little restaurant in April 2026 and was blown away by the authenticity of the cuisine and the kindness of the staff. This was my first time eating truly authentic Cuban food, and everything was delicious! They have a great menu of traditional Cuban dishes, and you can tell that they really love cooking the food that they make. It honestly felt like visiting a family friend's home - that's how we were treated by the staff, and I will certainly come back in the future. :) The croquetas and the pan con lechon were my personal favorites! read more

A Cuban food restaurant run by Cubans with excellent flavor, superb service with a little Cuban salsa flair, and unique servings which reminded me of my country of birth. We had a wonderful experience with family. For starters, the restaurant doesn't face Lebanon Street, but you enter Currier Place and the restaurant is on the ground floor of the rear of the building. They do take reservations, and use Toast as their service, or one can make them directly on the restaurant's website (still using Toast as a platform). Our reservation was honored on the spot, and we were seated near a window with full view of the restaurant ongoings. Our server was from "Villa Clara", a Castro rename from the centuries old Santa Clara province and provincial capital city. And of course I had to avail myself of their excellent Mojitos. Hors d'oeuvres quickly followed and they had just made a batch of Croquetas de Jamón which lasted seconds. Then the Yuca Frita, and the Empanadas de Carne. Cuban empanadas are unique and quite different from Chilean or Argentine ones, seasoned differently. One Mojito led into a delicious Margarita and the entree order. My spouse ordered the Ropa Vieja, a monumental seasoned and shredded meat that came with the ubiquitous Congrí a black bean-colored rice dish. I had the Masitas de Puerco, the marinated pork morsels in a sofrito sauce heavy on the garlic. Ohhhhhh yes.... A dish that I hadn't had since 1967 when I left Cuba as a child. I added a ration of tostones which came unstuffed just as I wanted them. Dessert was the Arroz con Leche, and this one was genuine, and the Pan de Calatrava, a custard-type rice dessert that made our mouths water.... A supperb evening and a promise to return to this wonderful place. read more

This restaurant is really easy to miss, turning off the main road in Lebanon going toward the parking garage, you have to look back to see it. They have lovely patio furniture outside, and trendy decor inside with a nice bar. The menu is focused. I appreciate they aren't trying to do too much. Everything looked delicious, so it was easy to make some decisions. Service was a bit stand off-ish, with the bartender asking me if I was ready to order from behind the bar. My table was on the other side of the restaurant. I mean, I was the only table inside, but still. I was told, you don't need to make reservations for 5 pm. Good to know! I ordered a margarita, but had to ask for water. Good thing the margarita was strong and not watered down at all with simple syrup, all fresh lime juice and nicely done. It helped the situation. The server recommended croquettes or empanadas for starters. I ordered the croquettes. They were delicately crispy on the outside, and pillowy soft and savory on the inside. For entree I tried the ropa vieja, a shredded beef dish with rice and beans, and plantains. This was delightful. The beef was tender and very flavorful in it's tomato based sauce. The rice had excellent flavor. The plantains were fried just right. I really enjoyed the food and drink here. The service was a bit awkward so not sure if I just hit them at the wrong time when they just opened but this was excellent Cuban food and worth coming back for. read more

Big stars. From the moment we arrived till the finish. Staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Food arrived at just the right pace. Crazy good flavor. Each dish was generous enough to satisfy. The real magic happened outside. The vibe was laid-back but polished ... exactly what we were hoping for. But this place exceeded expectations all around. Small Cuban restaurant with what appeared to be mamá in the kitchen making our dishes like we were in her home! We had a fantastic soup starter then coquettes and then a pork dish with dirty rice and red beans along with yucca. All really tasty and good! Service was friendly and attentive. Hands down the best food i've had in the upper valley in 5 years living here. I love cuban food and we frequent cuban places all over Florida. This place was phenomenal; appetizers, drinks, main course, desert (please experience the cuban french toast). Drinks mixed wonderfully, not too sweet. The food was so good we kept ordering more. Came in first time and had the ropa vieja and it was delish! I grew up on Cuban food and this was a bit strong on the tomato sauce but boy did it have flavors! They even let me swap the Moro for white rice and black beans on the side. Moro just taste different for me and glad they accommodated. I also had the tostones rellena with more of the tomato sauce beef and that amazing sauce was shooting out with every bite! And the veggie filled were great, too, with fresh mangoes and such inside. The place was really great inside with great quality tables and chairs, nice big bar, and the patio is super cute. The service was professional and very helpful. As a Cuban American and longtime resident of Vermont I was very surprised and impressed by the fact that Hanover had a Cuban restaurant. Not only that, but owned by a lovely Cuban family which gives the restaurant an authentic feel. The food was outstanding and very traditional Cuban cooking. From appetizers to main courses all that we tried were delicious and plentiful. The tostones rellenos were delicious as was the tamale en causela and the croquettes had us order a second batch after devouring the first. The masitas de puerco was very tasty as was the ropa vieja. The rice and beens were authentic and the restaurant is vegetarian friendly. Overall a wonderful experience and will return again next time I am in Hanover. read more

Little Havana was such a great surprise to see when I came to Hanover to visit my family. My boyfriend, who is from Cuba, happened to come with me on this trip and so we got to enjoy a dinner here with my parents. The staff is so friendly; everyone greets you warmly and checks in to make sure you are having a good experience. The menu is small, which I happen to love because of two reasons: it narrows down my options for someone indecisive like myself and it tells me everything is going to be super fresh; when a menu is smaller, usually the kitchen just gives more attention to detail on fewer items. We loved the ropa vieja and the beans on the havana vegetarian and I appreciate that the rice was cooked perfectly. I'd like to come back and try the sandwich and some dessert too. Met my cousin, whose mother was from Cuba, here for dinner. From the outside patio to the interior the esthetics were pleasing and welcoming. Luminary candles on the tables, charming numbers engraved on word rounds identify the tables along with darling little chalk boards to identify reserved tables. They have thought of every little detail. The service was great and the food was fabulous. This was my first visit to a Cuban restaurant and two hours later my taste buds are still savoring the spices. And the Virgin Mojito was so refreshing and delightful. As a Miamian who grew up on Cuban food, I can vouch for the authenticity of Little Havana. We started with the tostones, which were prepared in a cup style and stuffed (one with ropa vieja, one with a mango salad, and one with tuna and green olives) and the yucca frita, which came with a nice aioli sauce. For the main course, we had the vegetarian platter, which was rice, perfectly-seasoned black bean soup to scoop on to the rice, maduros (sweet fried plantains), and yucca con mojo (steamed yucca with a garlic and oil sauce). The service was warm and quick. The music and ambiance transported us to Cuba. Overall, a wonderful experience. read more

I ate here last night and it was so lovely. Lively ambiance, good music, and friendly faces from when I opened the door to when we were last to leave. We had a delicious mojito and a nice strong daiquiri. We started with the empanadas that were complemented by a delicious sauce and a cup of their creamy corn soup that was rich and complex. I had the pork dish and he had the vegetarian for our mains. Both were amazing and the staff was very helpful at providing descriptions of dishes and giving recommendations. The owner came by to bus our fully cleaned plates and recommended the most delectable cake covered in a caramel sauce for dessert, I don't remember what it was called "pan" something. My partner and I really like to take our time when we go out and they never made us feel rushed, they provided overall quick and friendly service the whole way through. We had came on a very busy night and it seemed the like the staff had been working together as family for decades, smiles and laughter are always nice to see on a busy night for hospitality staff, 10/10 for ambience, every crumb,sauce and love that went into the food & the service from coming in the door to out. Top Notch!! Very authentic & in the perfect location for a place called Little Havanaaaa! We will be back & we will be ordering everything that you have available! Hanover can be a tough crowd to please but please folks, support the little guys a little more. Applebees and chilis is just wasted time & effort we could have pulled out all the frozen whatever's at home. GO TO THE REAL STUFF & always try things you've never tried, you may just get lucky and get a memory you get to tell your grandkids about, when you bring them there in quite some fun years ahead!
