This place has been a family favor for many many many many many many years! Yes, it has been here that long... We saw the movie Solo Mio tonight, which takes place in Italy and we decided that we needed good cappuccino and dessert. So good!

Cute little spot, kinda underwhelming from afar but, when you get inside there's character! The service was great and the pizza was delicious . Gets pretty packed here and I can see why!

The food, service and ambience were amazing. We tried multiple dishes (spaghetti, lasagna pizza, chocolate cake, cannoli, spumoni).Daniel was an exceptional server as well.

Found this cute little Italian spot by coincidence and everything was top notch! The service was absolutely outstanding, even though the waiter was fairly new. Not only do they provide a complementary bread and butter basket, but also a taste of their cheese pizza. This was a smart thing to do, because we were not going to order pizza at all that day, however it tasted just like at home. So we ordered pizza and pasta to include Caprese salad and a delicious perfectly made cappuccino. A little bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth the buck. We will definitely go back again.

Spacious parking was the first good sign! Walking in, we were helped right away and seated. The interior gave away that family Italian restaurant vibes. For those that enjoy wine, they have an extensive menu of options. We were starving and went straight to try the calamari as appetizers and shrimp fettuccine as my entree. Everything came out within good time and piping hot and fresh. Calamari was delicious! Shrimp fettuccine didn't disappoint as well. Fettuccine was cooked to all dented, perfectly and with ample amounts of shrimp. Will definitely come back!

This restaurant has been in business for a while, established in 1983, the restaurant was founded by the Visocaro family from Palermo, Sicily, who previously ran a pizzeria in New York before moving to San Antonio, now you know this place has authentic Italian food! The staff is attentive and friendly and they make you feel right at home. They welcome you with thinly sliced pizza and fresh bread and olive oil. Everything we got was delicious, the calamari was not my favorite but my brother liked it. Our main dishes had generous portions and were very tasteful. And their service is very good. There were large groups of families, seems like it's a very good choice for a family dinner. They have a wide variety of homemade desserts and ice cream, my favorite...Tiramisu! And I normally don't like it, but wow! Theirs is excellent!

This place was delicious. The staff was so friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine and they brought us a taste of their pizza to try. We ordered the Alfredo and the Italian Stallion I believe it was called. Both amazing and huge portions. The service was great and the restaurant is very clean. Old school Italian feel (spoken from a New Yorker). We liked the taste of the pizza so much we got it Saturday night for our last night in town. Will be back if in the area again!

Saw the billboard advertisement along the interstate so I thought I would give it a try. I got the Arriba sauce with the meatball. Everything was absolutely delicious. Spice level was perfect when I'm in the area again I plan to eat there and try something else.

Let me start by saying, I love this place so if you're looking for an unbiased review I may not be the source. I will however, give an honest review from the perspective of a local who visits here a lot, and has tried a lot of different items. Little Italy feels like walking into one of the Italian kitchens in upstate New York. It's quaint, softly lit and well decorated. The first thing you will see is all the antipasto and desserts in cases. I have sworn for years that I will get a dessert before I leave, but I've always been too full to do it. We've never had a reservation for little Italy, we have always been seated promptly and there is always several other tables full of families and friends enjoying dinner - so I do think the size of the restaurant is appropriate. I will get right into our entrees for this review, but first I do want to give props to Little Italy for one thing they do that I love. Every time we go they bring out a slice of pizza for the table, cut into smaller pieces. This tickles me to no end and I really look forward to this small taste of pizza before every dinner. For our last visit, I got the chicken cacciatore along with mixed vegetables instead of pasta (I've been traveling and eating a lot of heavy food lately so I'm trying to watch it), and my girlfriend got the chicken Neapolitana dinner (with spaghetti because she's a real one). Both dishes were done incredibly well, her fried chicken was crispy and the sauce on my cacciatore was a huge stand out with a lot of flavor from the garlic. Every item I have had at this restaurant has been varying degrees of great to amazing, and I would rate the cacciatore as amazing. As stated I love this place, but that love was earned over time. I find that this is an Italian place that is taking their time with their sauces, and making sure they are right before they're served. If you are in town and can stop by, this is a can't miss.

This is a stromboli and it was amazing and super light.

We had an amazing time love coming here are normal server is Dennis he is very charming and we love exchanging stories with him. He even offered some recommendations for pizza which we will try the next visit. This place is amazing the food is super light most Italian places I go to I fall into an immediate food coma and it feels heavy and I am bloated for days not here this feels super light even if I ate a full size pizza it feels so light and very tasty I recommend.

We've been coming here for years. The food is perfection....anything you order will be made as ordered and delivered hot. We always do calimari and fried ravioli. And my son and I always split the stuffed pasta shells and manicotti....perfection. The service is always great as well. The only complaints are the salad size is super small and we never get bread. We always have to ask and other tables always get bread pretty quickly.

I'll make the menu these racks of wine are throughout the restaurant talk about assortments

Probably the best Italian joint in San Antonio. It's not New Jersey, but it'll do. The veal is really good.

It was a dreary day but we were looking forward to having our seafood entrees. I don't know why they sat 5 of us gals in a back booth right next to the kitchen instead of the front by the windows since we were celebrating a birthday and had presents? We got there before 12pm and a few booths were available by the window? I thought that was odd. Anyway, Raul was our waiter who was very enthusiastic, helpful and patient as we perused the menu trying to decide what to drink at first? A couple of friends asked what the different drinks were and decided on the Mango Stella-Rita which had a Chamoy covered thick straw, Mango-forward puree and the can of Stella Rosa Mango Sparkling wine that's placed upside down in the heavy Margarita glass like a Michelada. The birthday girl ordered a Pineapple Margarita that had some chunks of fresh pineapple in the drink. It had a kick, IMO! One of our friends shared some of her Mango drink with a couple of us because it was a lot to drink. She actually was munching on her chamoy straw and hardly ate most of her entree, LOL!! She was our onsite photographer anyway. I asked Raul how much the Bloody Mary and Sangria cost and he looked on his hand-held ordering device and said most drinks are $13-$15. The drink menus don't have prices, only the food menus. Not sure why? He said fresh fruit is added to the fruity drinks like the Margaritas. I thought that was nice. 3 of us ordered the Mojarra Chicharron fried fish dish that comes with rice, green salad and a fresh salsa. I was craving that for awhile now. Bday girl ordered the Tostada Super Mixta which was hefty, brimming with Surimi on top. Our friends ordered a cup of fish soup and fried oysters that came with fries and bread which I've never seen before. Portions are huge and all who ordered the Mojarra Chicharron had to go boxes as it's a lot of fish. We told Raul that it was our friend's birthday and he saw the presents but no Happy Birthday desserts were offered?? Food is good but good to know in case you're celebrating a birthday. You'll have to bring your own Birthday Cake. The restrooms are clean and there's lots of parking. The place was pretty busy by the time we left at 2pm.

We started with the cream cheese-stuffed chiles, and they were outstanding. They had the perfect balance of sweetness with just enough spice. We also shared the tiradito, which was incredibly fresh, bright, and the perfect appetizer for a seafood feast. My husband ordered the Sopa Siete Mares and a shrimp cocktail. The portions are generous, so there was no way he could finish both, but he absolutely loved the cocktail. The flavors were fresh, well-balanced, and exactly what you want from great mariscos. I can never pass up Culichi-style sushi, so I ordered the breaded El Ronin roll, while my daughter had El Samurai. If you've never had Sinaloa-style fusion sushi, you're missing out. The flavors are bold, creative, and so satisfying. My other daughter ordered the pulpo, and it was cooked perfectly tender from the first bite to the last, with none of the chewiness that octopus can sometimes have. To top it all off, I had a cocktail called the Fish. It was served in the cutest little bird-shaped glass and made with vodka, passion fruit, mango, and lemon. It was refreshing, fruity, and the perfect complement to the meal. Between the fresh seafood, generous portions, creative menu, and excellent flavors, Aguazul delivered a fantastic Father's Day lunch. We'll definitely be back!
