This place is delish! I had heard about it when it was in a shack near home depot and never made it there so needless to say I was very excited to try it. We ordered two burritos the OG and the one with chorizo. Both were absolutely delish, so full of flavor and so filling. I only ate 1/2 but i have a smaller appetite. My bf ate his burrito in its entirety. The place is a little small but huge shoutout to the staff for being very attentive and keeping the place clean. There was always someone sweeping the floors and cleaning the tables which was nice to see. We will definitely be back here. Thanks guys!
Place is known for their breakfast burritos so thats what I came here for. I ordered online and my order was ready when I scheduled it. Burrito tasted good and is quite large but you cant help but notice its mostly eggs and tater tots with not much meat. Since they charge a lot for the burrito its kind of hard to ignore. I havent seen many mentions of the serrano sauce here but it to me is their best sauce. Still it tasted good and thats what matters in the end. Might come back when Im craving the serrano sauce.
The breakfast burritos and sandwiches are to die for. They are expensive, but damn are they delicious. If you ever feel like having a treat yo self kinda day, I would suggest picking up some food at LJs Lil Cafe. I usually get the same things - the spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, Brisket Pastrami, and the Queso Philly Cheesesteak. All of them are mouthwateringly delicious. You can't go wrong with any of them. I just wish it was cheaper so I could get it more often. $20 for a sandwich or a burrito is kinda wild but I guess it's kind of the norm these days with how crazy inflation is.
Holy wow. Finally made my way here, they have a parking lot but it gets BUSY, so does their inside seating! Please plan appropriately when visiting! Inside is covered with cute merch, decor and awards, they are very proud of what they do and have every right to be. Service is amazing. The girl who helped me was so kind, patient and informative. I got the cookie butter latte (seasonal) and the og burrito with the signature sauce. This combo is ab absolute 10/10. The cold foam on the latte is salted and coming from someone who doesn't usually like salted foam tops, this one was to die for. The burrito is already cut in half by default which is a HUGE plus, that sauce is incredible. I can't wait to get the opportunity to come back here.
Definitely one of the top breakfast burrito places in OC! I recommend ordering online and picking up, it could get pretty packed, especially during lunch time around noon. I went with the OG, for about $17 it is kind of high, but the burritos are huge and filling and can be shared by two people! However it's so good that you may want to get your own! Came with fluffy eggs, cheese, bacon, and Portuguese sausage! It also comes with their famous LJ sauce and you can pick another, chose the habanero and it was super spicy! But delicious! The sauces alone should warrant 5 stars! Definitely recommend trying out!
There burritos are so delicious. I thought Troy's in Orange were good this is 100% better. I would highly recommend with the green salsa.
I think I've found my new favorite post-surf burrito spot. I'm going to have to explain my new found love to my BF. I was looking for something conveniently located between South OC and the freeway when I stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first--the tater tots were fantastic: perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. My 5-year-old self would have been absolutely thrilled. I ordered the OG Burrito, and it did not disappoint. The meat was flavorful and plentiful, and the burrito had a great balance of ingredients without being overloaded with potatoes. The cilantro sauce was the perfect finishing touch, adding a tangy kick without any heat. Now, if my burrito-to-potato ratio seemed a little off, that's entirely on me because I may have eaten a questionable number of tater tots before diving into the burrito. No regrets. Everything was delicious, and I'm officially hooked. If you haven't checked this place out yet, I highly recommend giving it a try.
Finally got to come by LJ's early and my Spicy OG Burrito came out delicious! I love the gooey cheese, crispy tots, soft eggs, pieces of sausage, and green peppers. The Habanero "orange" sauce is spicy and I absolutely love it. I order a side of pickled jalapeño slices to eat with every bite. Service is friendly and efficient. Store is very clean and has these comfy padded seats. I really love this location, just the parking is difficult sometimes.
BOMB breakfast burrito-- Tried the OG breakfast burrito that comes with eggs, tater tots, Portuguese hawaiian sausage, bacon, and cheese. Pretty big portion for my type of breakfast that I only ate half of the burrito, but it was definitely good that I saved the other half for my lunch. The iced cinnamon toast latte also was good, kind of tasted like a Spanish latte in a way. Would recommend!
A pretty solid breakfast burrito. Got the Philly ribeye instead of chorizo. The tortilla is really good and the meat has good flavor. The burrito isn't greasy like other spots I've had but it is a bit heavy on the eggs and tater tots. The creamy cilantro sauce is really good here. The place has nice vibes and the employees are really nice. It's worth checking out.
This is my second time coming here and the burrito never fails! Parking can be tough if it's busy but I somehow always find parking. There is usually a line out the door so I recommend ordering a head of time and it will be ready by the time you get there. There isn't much seating and the place itself is small so be prepared to take your food to go. The OG burrito is huge and packed with breakfast items. I love how cheesy it is but also crunchy from the tater tots inside. It is a savory explosion in your mouth that will fill you up. I ended up only finishing half my burrito. I decided to try a drink this time and picked the mango matcha. It wasn't my favorite the mango overpowered the matcha but also tasted a little watered down. It wasn't bad but I wouldn't get it again.
Located in a smallish shopping strip, LJs is easy to spot. There are quite a few other eateries in the row, so parking gets challenging during peak breakfast and lunch hours. I'd heard that they're known for their hearty burritos so I thought I'd go check them out. We arrived shortly after 11 and they were already busy with all but one table occupied. Orders are placed at the counter and your name is called when it's ready. Because they were busy, it took a bit for our order to come up, but it wasn't too bad considering how busy they were. From the Yelp photo gallery, their portions look generous, so my foodie friend and I decided to split everything. Today we ordered the pastrami burrito and Vern's Tots. As we suspected, the portions truly are generous enough to share {unless you're famished, then don't share :) } The burrito was hefty and packed with everything ~ eggs, cheese, pastrami, crispy tots, and the perfect amount of sauce ~ very tasty and filling. The Vern's Tots were *LOADED* with all the toppings! Very generous amounts of sweet, grilled onions, LJs house sauce, melted cheese, and bacon. Very filling and very decadent. A great little find and I'm looking forward to trying more of their burritos and sandwiches.
Delicious Breakfast Burritos!! There is a big selection of burrito options on their menu and every item seems equally as delicious. Every burrito comes with a side of sauce. I got the spicy OG which came with jalapeños and ooey gooey cheese. I also got the loaded tots to share with friends and WOW! not only were they affordable, they were also delicious! I got both the queso tots and the vern tots. My favorite was definitely the queso tots, but both were super yummy!! They also make delicious specialty lattes which were surprisingly very yummy!! My friends and I tried the cinnamon toast iced latte and the lavender honeycomb iced latte and both were super yummy, especially the cold foam. However, I wish the coffee flavor was a little stronger! The line can be long but ordering is quick! They also have limited seating options. I will definitely be back, the sandwiches look super yum
If you love breakfast burritos (and even if you're just so-so about them), you have to try LJ"s! They're loaded with eggs so fluffy, nestled in tater tots,bacon and sauce. My fam got together at my house and we split them in half so each of us can try different ones. My favorite was the spicy OG which comes with italian sausage (yum) and jalapeno. I was also pleasantly surprised by the chorizo. Normally I don't like chorizo because it's fatty and salty, but the quality of chorizo they used didn't taste greasy at all. We all love how the burritos had a perfect ratio of eggs to potatoes and were wrapped nicely. They didn't fall apart even though they were stuffed. It's magic really. This is a definite must-try and soon to be a usual spot for great burritos! read more

These breakfast burritos are really something else. LJ's started as a shack in front of a Home Depot in Cypress and has done so well for themselves that they now have an actual store in Orange. My favorite breakfast burrito is exclusive to the Orange location - the Pastrami Breakfast Burrito. It consists of tender, juicy brisket pastrami, tater tots, eggs, oaxaca cheese, and pickled red onion. I love it with the LJ's sauce, which is that perfect shade of creamy orange that just screams "I'm a delicious sauce!" (I think it's like spicy mayo or something). The burritos are more filling than you think. The store itself can get very busy. I recommend ordering online ahead of time or being prepared to wait for like 45 minutes. There are tables and a bathroom inside. The workers are very nice. read more
I've officially found my new favorite breakfast burrito spot! We ordered the OG Burrito and the Queso Tots and both were amazing. The tortilla was impressively soft and delicate but was able to hold up the burrito well. The scrambled eggs were fluffy but the crispy tater tots inside were the real game changer. That crunch is everything. Also, do NOT sleep on the creamy cilantro sauce. It has this perfect hit of acidity that cuts right through the richness. They also have quite an extensive beverage menu with some really unique options (Red Velvet and Cinnamon Toast lattes?!), but I kept it simple with an Iced Latte. I thought it was very good and I love how you could really taste the coffee in it. The space itself was very clean, and had modern aesthetic. They have a few seats if you want to dine in, which we did. Pro-Tip on Timing: We rolled in at 9:30 AM on a Saturday and it was chill with no wait. The food was ready in 20 mins. By the time we left at 10:15 AM, the line was out the door. Get here early if you want to skip the queue! But even if you do line up, I can say it's definitely worth the wait. read more

Came by to grab the OG burrito. I was so happy to see the beverage menu has new items yayy! There ones with dairy alternatives too!! YOOO let's talk breakfast burritos! This is hands down one of (if not THE) best breakfast burrito I've had. I drove up from San Diego to try this bad boy and it was beyond worth the drive. I placed my order online and pick up was ready within 30 minutes which, for this place, was quick. The cafe itself has a cool vibe to it and it was packed on a Saturday -- no surprise there. Now for the burrito... this thing was STUFFED with eggs, tots (pro tip: ask for crispy tots), spicy Portuguese sausage, cheese and jalapeños. The tortilla was good quality as well. It was piping hot and bursting with flavor. The sauces on the side were a perfect compliment (get the creamy cilantro!!) I ate half of one and was pretty darn full so definitely worth the price. I'll be dreaming about this breakfast burrito and will def be back! read more
This place is super tiny, but it gets busy fast. The service is great. The breakfast burritos are humongous and flavorful. We got the OG, pastrami, and the chorizo. All three hit the spot with their OF sauce and cilantro sauce. The lattes were good as well. Damn near everything on the menu is amazing. This is worth it. read more

The staff here is so amazing and helpful, they're always so kind to add new sauces and tell me about their new drinks which I can never say no to. I finally got to try this place now that they have a brick and mortar store. I've attempted in the past at their cypress location which is just a truck in front of Home Depot, but wait times were so long I never did. This time, I order online in advance for some breakfast burritos. It did take an hour so make sure you plan before ordering! The burritos are hefty and packed full of goodness. Tried both the original and the spicy one. Also tried their red, green, and signature sauces. All of them were good, I prefer the green for that tanginess and my partner preferred the signature for the creaminess. It lives up to the hype and I will definitely order some coffees next time as I didn't realize they had some unique flavors. read more
LJ's is a great place to stop by if you're looking for giant breakfast burritos. I got the pastrami breakfast burrito which costs about $19, but the portion is very large. It also comes with eggs, crispy tater tots, cheese, and pickled red onions to round it out. I wished it would have had a little more pastrami, but that's really my only complaints. Otherwise, the cilantro crema sauce pairs really well with it. read more
I had the burrito at their Home Depot location a couple years ago, and when I got it again today I was transported back to that time and reminiscing of how good that burrito was. Because the burrito I got today was still the same shock and awe burrito I got. Flavor? Solid. Portion size? Got full with half of it. Salsa and cilantro sauce? On point. Hash brown crunchiness? Crunchy, even after taking this home to eat. Amount of meat? Glutinous. Cheese pull? Epic. Quick service. Not the biggest amount of seating. Clean restaurant. But would definitely come again. This was my first time checking this place out, which my bf has come MANY times and always talks about it and now I know why! This was a perfect 10 burrito! The egg to meat and potato ratio was perfect. They all complemented each other and the spices inside were delicious. The tater tots were extra crispy when I say extra, I mean extra, they were delicious and the cilantro dipping sauce went really well with the burrito and the tots. The service was very fast and easy and the whole cafe was packed and we still got out within 10 minutes. The little café was cute on the inside. I will be back again to try another burrito read more
Ever want to beat yourself about the head... just to knock some sense into yourself? You think it'd work? Probably not in my case. Because I was told about this place, and still took my merry little time walking across the street... literally across the street... I "LITERALLY" live across the street. For over a year now... GAH! Okay, okay. Good lord... they weren't lying. This place has one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. I went with the most popular - the "OG Breakfast Burrito". It has 3 eggs, tater tots, Portuguese Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, special sauce, and a side of salsa on the side. PHENOMENAL! The pic doesn't do it justice. This place appears to operate exceptionally well - you can tell these guys know what they're doing. Nicely executed interior, clean, and staff were very friendly. GO HERE! read more
Heard of LJ Lil Cafe from their Cypress location outside Home Depot. We live in Montebello, and their Cypress location is closed on Sunday, so we heard that they had a stand-alone store in Orange, and it did not disappoint! Their cinnamon toast latte was amazing, 5/5. We also grabbed two burritos: their Og breakfast burritos and their chorizo breakfast burritos. Wow, their burritos were amazing. The tater was the perfect combo for their crunch 10/10. We also grabbed their Vern tots, which were the perfect size to share. Overall, everything we tried was awesome! Their service was great; they had a lot of employees preparing food, so they were quick to get food out, even when they were busy! read more

Lives up to the hype- huge, hearty burritos worth sharing or saving for later. We tried the OG, Spicy OG, and Queso burrito. The spicy OG was my fave. Super quaint ambiance. The OG had a perfect crispiness to the tots. The spicy had a nice little kick, and I was told that the queso was ooey-gooey cheesy perfection. This would honestly be a great spot to post up at after an intense workout or long hike. You order first then can take it to go or try to snag a seat! They have quite a variety of sauces to choose from and you can select one complimentary per burrito order. read more
Parking here is hard, especially if you go during lunchtime. You order first and then find a seat. Inside is pretty small with limited seatings. I got the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, and you get to choose a sauce. The Spicy OG Burrito was super good, but also a bit too spicy for me. If you want non-spicy, I would recommend their OG Breakfast Burrito (excludes all the spiciness). They are already cut in half for you, so you can easily share with others. It is pretty big and worth trying 'cause it's so good. I love LJ's Lil Cafe! Honestly the best breakfast burrito spot in OC, not just for the quality food but also for the service and hospitality! The workers were proactive when I came up to the pick up section asking me for the name and order number, letting me know when it will be ready. Everyone was super friendly! I got the OG burrito and got to try my friends Spicy OG burrito. Both were delicious! Well made and wrapped, holding its shape well. All the burritos came out hot, freshly made, in a very timely manner. It wasn't oily like how some breakfast burrito places are and all the ingredients were well seasoned and packed into the thick burrito. I got to also try the cilantro crema sauce, LJs signature sauce, medium green salsa, and hot harbanero. All were so yummy, truly cannot go wrong with any of them. My favorite is definitely the cilantro crema! There's a bit of seating inside the building. I ordered on a Tuesday morning and noticed it is already pretty packed. So beware if you visit on a weekend! But the crowd definitely goes to show their quality! read more
This spot has been blowing up on social media for good reason. The breakfast burritos here are very good. What makes these burritos especially good is the homogeneity-- everything is mixed together well within the burrito so that each bite has a little bit of everything, rather than getting singular bites of just egg or just potato. Although, I wouldn't mind a bite of just hashbrowns. These hashbrowns are able to stay incredibly crispy in the steaming hot burrito. They even stayed crispy by the time I got home. I got the OG breakfast burrito with a side of hot habanero sauce, and it was perfect. The thing is definitely huge and loaded with meat, so it can be easily split up into two meals for one person. The sauce is a great way to break up the monotony and cheesiness. I would highly recommend checking this breakfast burrito spot out, it'll probably make your top 5 breakfast burritos list! read more
I'll be the first to say that there are somethings that are difficult for me to pass by, one of those happens to be a good breakfast burrito. That proclivity is the reason for my sharing my experience enjoying the OG Breakfast Burrito from LJ's Lil' Café. Until this time, LJ's was foreign to me even though I had driven past their café on many occasions. It is very conveniently located just off the freeway and received very high marks from fellow Yelpers which pretty much sealed the deal.1 The OG BB is very accurately described on their menu. It is served up with egg, bacon (cooked into the egg), potatoes, cheese and Hawaiian sausage. But, the melding of those flavors leaves out a very important element, crispy tater tots. The inclusion of the tater tots adds a very tasty crunch that is not over the top in that it isn't in excess. All of the ratios of ingredients help provide a balance without making any one those the star of the dish. There is a great balance of savory with crunch and unique added flavors between the sausage and bacon. Very much the type of breakfast burrito to satisfy that morning hunger without feeling regretful afterward. A good burrito for sure, but a couple of things to note. For those purists, the Hawaiian sausage may not be for everyone. In reality, the preparation (chopped in smaller portions) prevents the sausage from being overwhelming. It gives an added unique taste. The sauce (green) comes in varying temperatures and styles. I chose the lighter of the green sauces which could have used some spices as it was light in flavor. In all honesty, the burrito stood on its own and I preferred skipping the sauce altogether. If you are interested in visiting LJ's I encourage you to review their menu as you have an array of options. Whether its breakfast or lunch, you will find the food at LJ's Lil' Café a very interesting find. They put a lot of TLC into their food items with emphasis on good quality and balance. This breakfast burrito was sooo incredible. Parking was one of the worst experiences though because it's a tiny lot and soo many people are coming in looking for parking too. The line was really long but the wait wasn't too bad! My friends and I had to stand around to grab a table. There isn't much seating so I definitely wouldn't relay on eating there since you might need to carryout. It's super busy and lively with people waiting for their food. I got the spicy OG burrito. It was freaking huge and lasted me 3 meals! I really loved how crunchy the tater tots were despite being wrapped in the burrito. It was cut in half and the cheese pull was insane. This burrito also came with jalapenos and spicy sausage so it had a nice kick to it and the flavors all complemented eachother very well. My friends and I tried multiple sauces: the green salsa, red salsa, and LJ's signature sauce! Neither one of the sauces were that spicy but both were very flavorful. The LJ's signature sauce tasted exactly like the In-N-Out sauce! It was good but I definitely prefer salsa with my burritos. I also tried the snickerdoodle latte which was a seasonal drink. It was really smooth, sweet, and had a cinnamon-y hint to it. I loved it! I'd definitely revisit this place, but probably would try and avoid weekends to not deal with the crowd! read more
I tried LJ's for the first time and loved the spicy OG burrito. My favorite part is that the tater tots in the burrito are extra crispy. The burrito is large and may be big enough to split with a friend. I also enjoyed the LJ special sauce on the side. The cafe is clean and service was smooth. What a giant portion of a burrito!! Best to split it with two people or at least only eat half at a time. The tortilla is filled to the brim with 3 eggs, hot sausage, jalapeño, cheese, and tator tots. Also, the accompanying sauce was very delicious. Definitely try the habanero ones if you like spicy food. If you're like me and used to eating smaller portions or lighter fare, be ready to not have any strenuous activities planned afterwards HAHA! I think I was ready to slumber and hibernate after eating just 1/4 of it. Very tasty but very heavy food. The order was placed online and it was ready upon arrival. Parking is free and plentiful right in front of the store. The inside is adorned with neon decors. I opted to eat at home because of too much coming and going happening. I may not return frequently but wouldn't hesitate recommending to others if they want breakfast burritos. read more

We came around 9:30 AM on a Sunday and didn't have much of a line to wait but I will say it takes about 10 or so minutes for your food. Seating was inside but they don't have many so I do recommend just picking up and going somewhere else to eat. We ordered the OG breakfast burrito, of course, for our first time and I will say this has to be the best breakfast burrito I've ever had (and I also typically don't like breakfast burrito). The hashbrown and bacon inside were so crisped and everything was well filled! I also had it with the creamy cilantro sauce which had a good balance to the savoriness. This place definitely opened the world of breakfast burritos to me and I would love to come back and try their other items! read more

I was looking for a great breakfast burrito and found this on Yelp. It's in a strip center, plenty of parking. There was steady stream of people coming in. I was greeted when I entered, she recommended the OG burrito with the crema cilantro sauce. It was less than a few minutes wait, the burrito was cooked to order. The burrito is huge. It was steaming hot and chalk filled with protein and crispy tater tots. It was very flavorful. The place was very clean, bathroom was clean too. There is plenty of seating. I arrived around 11. I highly recommend and will return to try a few of the other menu items. read more

One thing about me, I love breakfast burritos. I saw Lj's Lil' Cafe on TikTok and had to give it a try. I assume many others saw it too cause once I got there the store was packed. I got the OG breakfast burritos, and just as it looks it was hot and delicious. It was definitely filling as I saved the other half to eat for later. As for their sauce, I recommend the creamy cilantro and their signature sauce. read more
Definitely one of my top three favorite breakfast burritos in OC and glad they got a bigger spot closer to me. The place filled up real quick and the wait wasn't too long. I immediately ordered the OG burrito and it only took 7-10 min to wait for my name to be called. The restaurant was full with no table available and wanted to eat my burrito fresh so pro tip. Support one of the other establishments next to them and buy something there too and, walla more tables, albeit not in the restaurant but there was so space because it's too good lol. I recommend getting there a little early if you want to score a table or take your chance getting lucky when someone leaves. The OG burrito is as advertised and packed with flavor. The chorizo they use has a nice kick that blending nicely with the creamy cilantro salsa. They had 5 different ones to choose from and all seemed delicious. The cheese is real and everything melts together in one big bite of heaven. It's a legit breakfast burrito. I liked the kick and later realized you can order it spicy too. So many great things on the menu to choose from but I could only eat half my burrito as it's very large. Enough to share unless you're super hungry. Great vibe there and the line goes pretty quick. The burritos here are AMAZZZZZINGGGGGGG! They're huge and really filling! They're very heavy but it hits the spot! The burrito was big enough to be eaten as leftovers(which reheats really well!!). The tater tots were super crispy and everything was really flavorful. The interior was spacious but had limited seating. We waited about 20 mins for our burritos but I would definitely recommend ordering ahead. read more
Be prepared to wait in a line because this spot just opened in a super central OC location this year, but honestly the wait is worth it. The service is great! They don't rush you at all and give you tons of info at the front, which I really appreciated. I would say that this is more of s grab and go breakfast because seating is pretty limited with how many customers come in. I ordered the OG, and the burrito comes exactly as advertised. The cheese pull and everything that's packed in the burrito will send you into a food coma. LJ's Lil' Cafe in Orange absolutely delivered. I tried the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito, and wow--this one is easily top 3 breakfast burritos I've ever had. Loaded with 3 eggs, crispy tater tots, hot Italian sausage, and grilled jalapeños, then I finished it with both cilantro crema and habanero crema--every bite hit. The habanero crema brings a nice, spicy kick without overpowering anything. Perfect balance of heat, flavor, and texture. The tots stayed crispy, the sausage brought real flavor (not greasy), and the cremas tied everything together beautifully. Big, satisfying, and genuinely delicious. read more

This place lived up to its hype. Came here after seeing a YouTube review and I have to say, this place did not disappoint. We ordered the "OG Burrito" with tater tots on the side and it was delicious! Tater tots was extra crispy without us even having to ask. As for the burrito, it did not disappoint! So much flavor and big enough to share for husband and I. The cheese pull was awesome on the burrito too, oh my gosh! They definitely did not skimp on the ingredients, so you definitely pay for what you get. Customer service was on point and the had the perfect amount of table space for people to eat and go. Let's make one thing clear, this place lives up to the hype. LJ's is in the same plaza as Lee's and a few other quick serve restaurants so parking can get a little dicey during the lunch rush, but don't give up hope, this place is worth any wait. The interior is brand new with plenty of standing space and a few booths/tables to enjoy your meal if you don't wanna wait to enjoy your meal (guilty). Service is great, the staff is all so friendly and they work quickly to get everyone their orders as fast as possible. You can also order ahead on their website, which is a very convenient offering (it can get busy). For food and drink, I got the Spicy OG sub bacon, and a peppermint latte. The burrito was fantastic, there was a perfect ratio of ingredients, and everything was mixed together so each bite was perfect. This burrito had everything I could ask for, 10/10 no notes. They also have a great selection of salsas, my favorites being the Red Roasted Salsa, Green Serrano Salsa, and Cilantro Crema. The Peppermint Latte was great too, I think it's a seasonal drink so get it while you can. This place is the best breakfast burrito spot in OC, and it's not even close.
