Yelp Challenge 24/100 Loaded Cafe had their 1 year anniversary and I was nearby so decided to come in for lunch with a friend.. the service was very attentive and water was refilled right away. I got the pot roast sandwich and it came with the fries.. my friend got the bacon hash bkfast that came with french toast.. the main dishes were in good portion..but the onion ring that I paid for 4$ is very small..and considering how small the onion rings were already .. it should be increased in quantity. Still a good place for cool breakfast. The menu has pictures..yess!! read more

Second time coming and it's still really good!! They just had their 1st year anniversary I think and the place is still in really good shape! The booths for 4 are a tad small but nice for families to get cozy! There are also more seating areas just we got the booths due to service areas. The food was great! Have a lot of variety in terms of breakfast and lunch and their menus looks really good along with other peoples plates passing by!! I got the stuffed chicken crepe but ate it too quickly to get a shot of it. There was an omelette with meat piled on top(ranchero? I think) that I got there last time and both were really good! And the prices are very reasonable! Very family atmospheric and comfortable! Hope you give this place a chance! I would highly recommend it! read more

First time here for brunch. The food was SO good and all the servers were very friendly and attentive. I got French toast which was so fluffy and thick. My fiancé got pancakes which he loved. Had lunch here yesterday, and my review is strictly based on their lunch food only. To be honest the pancakes that they pride themselves in smelled delicious. We were seated in a cozy booth (i.e. Really,really tight, I'm a tiny tot, but it was even restrictive to me, my husband was downright uncomfortable). Service was very good, friendly and quick. My husband had a grilled chicken and mushroom sandwich, and he liked it just fine. I had a bacon, avocado cheeseburger. It was so huge you couldn't get your jaws unhinged to get a bite. It was a bit over cooked which yielded the patty a bit tough. I realize that there is a fine line between under and over cooked. The French fries were crisp and nicely seasoned. They were quite good. I believe our bill was around $32.00 with tax and tip, which is a bit pricey for burgers and fries. read more

Finally found a good breakfast spot! For all folks that love eating spicy loaded cafe has three different spicy sauces and it's not your typical Cholula or Tabasco! The restaurant is welcoming and has a family ambiance It was my time here I had trouble ordering because everything looked so appetizing but ended up ordering the stake and eggs plate. Came to eat with my uncle, I had Parmesan chicken sourdough sandwich with fries very good love the cheese, my uncle had the veggie platter with broccoli eggs, bell peppers and fries. We flew into LAX and were looking for a place to have bfk/lunch. Found this place on yelp and gave it a try. I'm a retired restaurant mgr. so I'm a little critical. There are three things I'm looking for. First is service/courtesy. Second is food quality and third is the cleanliness of the restrooms. You can tell a lot about the place from the restroom. The Loaded Cafe was tops in all three. The service was great. We had some questions about the menu items and out waiter explained the item and the options. The food was far better that most restaurants. They got it to us quickly, hot and fresh. The restroom was as clean as it could be. Fairly new remodel and well maintained. I gave this restaurant five stars because they exceeded our expectations in every category. It's not the cheapest place I'm sure but you'll get more than your money's worth. read more

Absolutely better than Denny's or ihop, might be my new favorite breakfast restaurant and that says a lot especially that I live 30 min away, came in this morning to get my car windows tinted and didn't end up getting them done because I got really terrible service from the auto shop... so getting an amazing breakfast just makes it better, really great service... don't remember our servers name but can't wait to go back. Ordered French toast & crepes with strawberries and bananas. Both of those fruits were old and expired. The strawberries were mushy, and the bananas were completely brown and mush. This was on both items that I ordered, and I had to throw them away due to it being so old and bad that the taste made me gag. $36 completely wasted because of old food. I won't ever give this place a try again EDIT: Also the completely messed up both orders. I had ordered the French toast & the crepes w eggs & sausage, and received eggs, bacon and hash browns. Food was good. Wait time was a really long, over 30 minutes for our order of pancakes and crepes a là carte. If you expect to get your food as quickly as a line in Disneyland you'll be fine. We went in the morning and was told the offer for the free kids meal was after 3pm. Offer didn't specify that or any restriction. Little sketchy. Pretty sure if we came at 4pm, the offer wouldn't be available until 6pm. After we got our food, customer service was good. Won't be going back, though. read more

Ordered the chicken chipotle tacos and enchiladas for my dad after grocery shopping at Food 4 Less. The tacos were mine but pretty good. I'm always excited to try new breakfast places in this area cause I feel like there aren't enough! I was especially excited to see that they had crepes and waffles, something that is difficult to find in this area for some reason :( The restaurant was easy enough to find, since it was in a large plaza with El Super and Wal-mart, and there was plenty of parking. I came on a Saturday morning and luckily there wasn't a wait, possibly since this place is still fairly new. I decided to try the honey lemon crepe, with the lemon butter and honey sauce on the side. I made it a combo, which added eggs, hashbrowns, and sausages to my meal. The crepes were good, nothing spectacular though. I was glad I decided to get the sauce on the side since it tasted a little funky, with a slightly sour and very buttery taste, lol. Don't know what I was expecting I suppose... My fiance ordered the chorizo and eggs, which came with tortillas and rice. He wanted to substitute the rice with hashbrowns, and the waitress was able to do that for us, so that was really nice :) I didn't really try any of his dish, but I do know he liked it, lol. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I did enjoy the food. It is a tad pricey compared to other breakfast places, but I'm giving them a pass on that solely because they offer crepes/waffles when most other places don't. read more

If you know and love good food, DO NOT bother with this place. We made the mistake of buying into the hype. I just do not get the reviews and star rating here at all. This place serves some of the worst food I've had in some time. Even Denny's & McDonald's serve better. First, the burger and fries were served scalding hot and oddly never cooled off. And the burger was just bad. No flavor, no seasoning, patties are thin, cheap, processed, ugh. Crepe was the consistency of a pancake, too bready, nothing special. Strawberry lemonade had no refills, not even soda, and was much, MUCH too sugary. On the plus side, at least the service we received was friendly and attentive, plus they have a nice selection of legit (and spicy) hot sauces. But our server needed a bit more training, more knowledge of the menu. Why is this place so crowded? I'm baffled. When the newness wears off, can it survive serving such low quality cooking? read more

What a bummer! I wanted to try this place out as the food looked good and the reviews were enough for me to drive their. Surprisingly there was no wait and plenty of people at the cafe. Plenty of items on the menu looked very good and I decided to go with the Strawberry and Banana French Toast. The bad: -It took about 5 minutes to have the waitress greet us and take our drink order. Another 5 min to get the coffee to our table. -Our food took way too long to arrive at our table based on the customer presence in the cafe. -Eggs and hash browns were cold, but since I was hungry I ate it anyway. The main part of my order ended up at another table. Very shortly after, they what I assume attempted to bring me the same portion. Why do I assume, well it was cold when it arrived. Not even a heat lamp was over it cold. When I questioned if that was the same portion the waitress said it was not. After a few seconds of hesitation, she said she would advise the manager and bring me a new order. 5 minutes later the new portion arrived. The good: -Food was good. -Location was nice. -Manager attempted to fix the cold food situation by bringing me a new hot plate of the mixed up portion along with the old one to show they made a new order. It may be my observation, but I think their may have been that plenty of new staff training going on, I could be wrong. Nevertheless, that is why I am giving this place two stars. Need to work on service and getting hot food to your customers. Would I go back and try again.... yeah I suppose so. read more

Ordered Swedish crepes. They aren't served as pictured with scoop lingonberry jam mixed into butter, but were smothered in jam. I had even mentioned that I was happy to see a crepe option that looked not too sweet. Waited for dish to be remade and asked for jam on side and some whipped butter. I then received a very small side of melted butter with about 1tsp jam sitting in the bottom. Couldn't even see it until I stirred. Tasted good, but ratio was off and not enough lingonberry. The waitress was pleasant, but made me feel as though I was a bother. She even opened the menu to try and prove the dish was originally served as pictured, but saw that I was correct. Way overpriced for what I received. Didn't feel comfortable even asking for some additional jam. Somewhat disappointing experienced. I stated that I was a 1st time customer and there was also no free concha as advertised on Facebook. Floor around tables needed to be cleaned, food chunks and debris. read more

I never eat inside any restaurant but I love all of the Loaded ones and out first time to this location. So we were looking for a Starbuck's for coffee when eagle eye mini me spotted this location. So we decided to try it out and have a small breakfast. Well our server was Brisa and she was very polite and attentive to all our needs.....this told me we were going to like it here. After we ordered our food Jesus the Manager stop by our table to greet and check on us. The people here are very family like they make you feel welcome and not like other places that give you the feeling of eat and leave already. So come to find out the Loaded Cafe's are family owned so now it makes sense. They are very consistent and the people working there are so nice and professional. The cashier had to climb up and lean halfway out of the drive-thru window just to hand me my burger. At that point, I wasn't sure if I was picking up food or watching someone audition for Cirque du Soleil. Nobody should have to risk their back, knees, balance, and future medical bills just to pass a customer a burger. This setup is not just inconvenient, it looks unsafe for the employees. Management at Angelo's Burgers needs to stop acting like this is normal before someone gets hurt. A drive-thru should not require mountain climbing skills, Olympic stretching, or a worker putting half their body outside the window. Please fix the drive-thru before the next combo meal comes with a workers' comp claim.

But the chicken was little dried. My favorite is the Tlayuda. It was really big. Enough for 2 people to share. It's a small restaurants and can be busy on the weekend. Service can be slower here on the weekend. Not many parking spots, but can park on the neighborhood street. Not a super fancy restaurant. Cute and family friendly for small kids.

I simply asked if they accepted digital payments, and she responded with a confused "huh?" while looking at me like I was the one being unclear. I then clarified "Apple Pay," and she said yes but the interaction already felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. We were seated, and shortly after, we were told we couldn't bring in outside food. Normally, I understand that policy but in this case, we have a 3-year-old who is a very picky eater, and the restaurant didn't appear to offer a kids menu when we checked beforehand. That's why we grabbed him something small from the food court so we could still dine there as a family. Instead of showing any understanding or offering a solution, the hostess simply told us we couldn't stay. Because of that, we had no choice but to leave we're not going to let our child go hungry or waste the food we already purchased. It was disappointing because we were fully planning to dine there and spend money, but the lack of customer service and flexibility cost them our business. I hope management takes this as feedback, because situations like this don't just affect one table they impact whether customers ever return.
