Just alright. We were in the area and interested in the entrees. We were met with SUPER SLOW and subpar service. Our waiter was up at the bar conversing with other patrons for the majority of the time, and I waited over 15 mins to get some more water, this is even trying to get her attention. In order to fill up my obviously empty glass, I had to interrupt one of the busboys. My entree was pretty good but my partner said his was just meh. They also did not believe we paid? We paid and were getting ready to leave and she told us to wait to confirm it went through on their end. Alright, weird but understandable, so we show her the confirmation and end payment screen/receipt that appears after you pay using their QR code on your phone. Its pretty unique so I was surprised when she literally rushed over to the front door, blocking it, and checked her service thing over there to make sure we paid. We watch her check until she gestures us a thumbs up so we know we can leave. Such a strange experience at the end there paired with the slow service makes this a place we will not return. read more

I always saw the one in the EV, then noticed this one a few months ago. Today we felt like a pasta. Service was good. We started with the baba ganouch. I must say the pita bread was amazing! I wasn't feeling the flavor in the baba. To me it left a bad after taste. Just my opinion. My husband said once you mixed it, it got better. Then we had the burratta. It was very good. We had a large group dinner here one night recently. It's a beautiful space with lots of greenery + mural of a mirthful Dali and I can imagine that in warm weather this would be the perfect spot for an icy cocktail and small plates or salads. We showed up for our 8pm reservation, which unfortunately they had no record of (luckily we had an email confirmation because the vibe was that they couldn't accommodate us on a busy, short staffed night). The host/server had to put our group of 9 at a high top crammed against the wall. We had to ask for assistance after trying to sit and realizing we just couldn't fit (each end of the table involved being up against a mirror or, worse, right in the way of the bar). Although our time here started out less than ideal, we ordered plenty of drinks and food and most of my table enjoyed everything. I ordered an FML (best name ever), fig Mojito w/lavender. I couldn't taste neither hint of fig nor lavender. I drank a couple sips of it and should have sent it back because it was not well made. Our server didn't notice and I didn't feel like bothering him because it was clearly understaffed that night. Vegan options are clearly labeled, which is a plus. I had the hummus which is served with pillowy warm pita. It could have used some spice and additional heat, such as zata'ar or better yet, harissa, but when I asked for hot sauce, I was given tabasco which is frankly, weird when you consider this is a Mediterranean restaurant. The hummus wasn't the best nor the worst I ever had. The Farmer's Salad was OK, very fresh, but lacked something... perhaps nuts would make it better (or grilled tofu, vegan feta etc). I didn't come close to finishing it. It wasn't a bad experience, just lackluster and although I wouldn't oppose coming back (those frozen drinks are intriguing and like I said, it would be a perfect setting for after work libations), I wouldn't be rushing back anytime soon either. read more

Made the mistake of eating at this restaurant. Never have I ever eaten at a place that served pizza without knowing how to make it! How about hiring a proper chef/cook? Unbelievably bad pasta as well. Should have known with the combination of Mediterranean food with Italian dishes. To make matters worse, the service was appallingly bad. They never check on you and the waiter disappears after taking your order. Had to wait a long time for the food and ask three different workers for the damn bill. They all looked miserable. I came here with my nephews and my mom, kids were starving so we ended up here. We got a table in the back. I must say this place is Dirty and disorganized. The glasses on the table were dirty Yuck, we literally sat there for 15 minutes before we got served and my boys were mad. I try to understand because I work on the industry. I was just observing how bad this place is managed SMH. There was one server trying to do everything, this place needs bussers and a manager. Nobody was helping this poor server, like who runs this place. This place was dirty, dirty dishes everywhere. Like if you know brunch is busy the owner sets up the staff to failure. Okay so I order the Shakshuka added feta and lamb sausage which was not good because the eggs were overcooked and they brought me the feta on the side the purpose of feta is to be cooked on it however, the sauce was bland like as if the opened a can of tomato and just heated it up , worst Shakshuka ever. My mom ordered a arugula salad they brought the dressing on the side (we did not request dressing on the side) mom was not happy. I ordered for the kids meatballs sandwiches they ate it because they were starving and got the toddler I ordered him the spaghetti meatballs, I tried the spaghetti meatballs and it was so bland and nasty. The food took about 40 minutes to come out. Then when we got our check I payed half cash I noticed the added 18 percent auto gratuity for terrible service lol. On top of my charge I got 5 dollar fee for using my credit card and that's illegal. This place is a joke go somewhere else with better food and better service. read more

I got the Israeli eggs Benedict - the chickpea polenta and lamb were great. My friends got the French toast, the berry berry compote was good - but bacon was fatty and soft. Came here with a couple of friends Saturday afternoon. Waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to give us a menu, and then another 15 minutes before taking our order. The waiter gave water to the table next to us and left without giving any water to us... after 30 minutes! Mind you, there were hardly any other people sitting down.. Ordered the Sangria and some apps. The Sangria was so watered down and way too sweet. Probably one of the worst Sangrias I've had. I probably would not have left a bad review, if not for this. Because of the bad service, we left a 15% tip. The restaurant changed the tip amount after the fact to 20%! So shady!! We have the picture and the charges! Super shady restaurant! There are so many brunch spots in Soho, but very few that take reservations - Local 92 to the rescue! We came at around 11:30 on a Sunday, the restaurant was quiet and we enjoyed a calm, leisurely meal without being rushed. The menu is really large - although it's Mediterranean focused, there's a ton of variety (burgers, eggs, pasta, salads, veggie bowls). I had a platter with eggs, hummus, pita, salad and labneh. The hummus and labneh portions were really large and I ended up sharing them with husband. He had eggs Benedict, which also looked great (he didn't offer to share). The prices are also refreshingly reasonable for this area (brunch dishes started at around $15). read more

Came here around 3 so it was a bit of an awkward time for lunch. Please just skip this place. I don't know if it's because of the time or just the lack of staff but it was EXTREMELY SLOW. One guy manning the bar and one guy running back and forth. There weren't even that many customers but it seemed like they kept ordering so our own order was delayed. A couple of outside tables were of large parties, so I guess we just didn't see them before we walked in. One table outside specifically was ordering drinks constantly. It took so long for the server to come by after I got his attention and even then he had to come back to ask for our order AGAIN because he either lost the ticket or completely forgot to write it down (which is likely because he came and didn't even have a notepad). The food overall was just okay, we just needed something quick to eat, but it was NOT something that was worth waiting 40 min for. Thankfully we got a discount for the service... The bathroom was also disgusting and seemed like it wasn't maintained. Safe to say we will not be coming back again. read more

It was full house but there were 5 servers (yes I made it a point of counting) so no unusual wait times. And the food was excellent. Between us, we had the babaghanoush, the shakshuka, the falafel burger, and the ravioli with burrata, and it was all flavorful, portions were sufficiently large, and the presentation was good. Stopped here with a group of friends to grab drinks and was hungry so I ordered off the menu - I had the burrata salad which was meh to be very honest. For starters, it was $20 and the burata seemed cold and hard, didn't have the greatest "burrata" texture. Additionally, there was nothing to eat the burrata with, I was expecting it to come with pita bread or something but when I inquired I was told it was an upcharge of $3 for a small piece of pita. Was disappointed overall in the quality of the food, price I paid, and what was actually served. Doubt I will be back here but hopefully others will find something worthwhile on the menu? read more

This was my first time coming and I was underwhelmed. My friend and I went for Saturday brunch and it felt very much like they were understaffed. It took about 10 minutes to get a soda and a coffee, then nothing. No one took our order for 25 minutes. Food was great, however, I received the wrong entree. I think it was my bad, I think I misheard what the waiter said when I was ordering. However, when I said my order was wrong, I received some attitude from the server. We stopped here for drinks and the service was not good at all. It took forever for the server to come and acknowledge us (there were only 2 other tables in the place) then it took forever for our drinks. The server then practically ignored us the rest of the time hanging out with other workers and neighbors that live next to the restaurant. Finally at the end he got an attitude with us when we asked him to split the bill amongst us (4ppl) and hastily dropped the iPad on the table bumping into us as he tried to add the card reader. His disposition the entire time was as if we were bothering him for being there. I'll end on a good note though. My drink the lavender refresher was good. I rarely give places a 1 star rating but oh my gosh for this place I'd say even 1 star is generous.... Ok to start, the location and vibes were not horrible. It's actually pretty cute and the wait staff was really nice too. We were seated immediately even though it was prime brunch hour on a Saturday. Menu has pretty diverse options that are also vegetarian and vegan friendly. However, after the waiter took our order, it took literally ONE whole hour for us to get our food. We checked in several times to make sure no mistake was made, and they said they were working on it. Finally got a new waiter who went back and it turns out our food was ready but no one had brought it out. So when they did bring it out an hour later it was cold and honestly not that good to begin with. Overall the experience was very meh and I'll defs be avoiding at all costs. read more
