We've been using LOCAL Bug Guy services for the past 6 months now. These guys are absolutely next level -- especially Oscar, our bug guy. From the moment we reached out to get started, LOCAL Bug Guy has been super, super easy to communicate with and set up appointments. We're setup on a quarterly service now. Each time our appointment approaches, Oscar sends us a text message to let us know when he'll be there and what service(s) he will be performing. When he's around the house, we barely notice he's outside -- he cleans off the house to rid it of webs and doesn't leave any mess behind. The best part? If we need anything at all, Oscar is simply a text message away. Very frustrating experience just trying to get some information from an actual person that works in the field. I left a message on Yelp asking for a quote and describing the scope of work. I received a call back from a scheduled this morning, basically saying "I'm calling to set up another call with you later this afternoon." That person had no info that could address our pest situation. I had a call back as promised in the afternoon...however, this was from another "scheduler." I thought I was reaching out to a company with more of a local presence and that might avoid red tape...instead I got 3 layers of non expert office folks who were not able to give me actual information or answer any questions about my pest issue. I definitely recommend the Local Bug Guy! When we first moved in we had ants that kept popping up in various places in the house. We'd kill them in one spot and they'd appear elsewhere. Such a pain! I contacted them and they were quick and responsive. Brent is super nice and easygoing and goes over everything with you. I was assigned Mike for our area. He came out (also really easygoing and friendly) and found the source outside immediately. He was quick and never even needed to do anything inside. He treated the house and the problem stopped immediately. In 6 months we've only seen ants once and that was recently after the pouring rain. He came right out and sprayed. If you need them in between quarterly treatments, it's free. I recently had parted ways with my last exterminator and have gone about two months with no service and boy does it make it difference. Our Bug Guy comes out every 3 months and spray around our house & in our backyard. I mentioned where I wanted him to focus (specifically around the gazebo where our hot tub is so I can relax without worrying about a spider falling on me in the evenings!) and so far we haven't had any problems and have been incredibly pleased! I am not one to spray pesticides, but I had an infestation of Jadera bugs in my front yard that got so bad I found one inside my front door. I messaged Local Bug Guy for some help. Wayne came out the next day, explained how the service would work, the material he would use, where he would spray, and that it could take up to 10 days or so for the issue to be resolved. He was very friendly and wanted to make sure I would be happy with their service. After Wayne finished, he said he thought I'd see a big improvement quickly since the bugs were already starting to move slower within a few minutes of being sprayed. We had a particularly difficult case of ant infestation in Temecula whereby they had swarmed our dishwasher located in the kitchen island and occupied the hidden steam vent. No ant path from an exterior source was present. Traditional control methods could not be employed due to dishwasher internals. Matt is the BEST! He is kind, always on time and very thorough. Highly recommend him to anyone!! Here's our story. We used to live in a condo and ant baits worked their magic whenever we had ants back then. It was quite different though when we moved to an actual house. We had ants in the house one day maybe about a month after we moved in and I put the ant baits hoping the situation would be taken care of within a few days as it always did. It seemed to work at first, but I realized the baits only brought more and more ants - literally an "endless" amount of them. I even witnessed "the sergeant ants" which were much bigger than normal ones and I knew that moment that I'd had enough. That's when I called the Local Bug Guy. Matt showed up that day, listened to my concerns, and explained the plan with all the details. It took a few more days till I didn't see any more ants, but the important thing is that it actually worked unlike my own method! He said it would be the quarterly service, but I could call him anytime we had bug-related issues between those regular sprays so he could treat them as quickly as possible. (The extra services would be free of charge as well!) It's been 2 years since we started their service, and he has kept his promise without exception so far. We actually had an emergency ant situation this morning (lots and lots of ants coming into my son's bedroom), and I called Matt to request a treatment. He was apparently really, really busy today, but he understood the urgency of our situation and dropped by our place to take care of it before he started his day. I couldn't thank him enough!! Updating once more, as shortly after our most recent service, ants appeared in our kitchen. It was just a few, but it was enough that I figured I'd check in with Wayne. Mind you, we have been using this service three years and this is the only time this has happened. It was on a Sunday, and I felt bad about texting Wayne for advice (whether or not I should spray our peppermint oil stuff), but he was responsive and even said that if it didn't work, he'd come out the next day. The peppermint oil worked for a couple of hours, but they came back by morning, and Wayne came to our rescue just a couple of hours after calling him to spray down the kitchen window from the inside of the house (it's non-toxic and didn't smell at all, in fact the peppermint oil spray I had at home was more bothersome). That definitely took care of the problem. Local Bug Guy is such a great team and they will make sure you are satisfied with their service. 100% worth it. read more

These guys are amazing! We just moved to Temecula a few months ago and immediately established recurring preventative pest control services for spiders and ants. Brent, the owner, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and worked out a customized plan for us. They send out the same technician for each service so they become familiar with you and your property. Lee is fantastic - super responsive and helpful. We recently had issues with ants inside the house and I wanted to let him know at our next service, but I missed him when he came to spray the exterior of the house. When I texted him to ask him where to get some baits for inside the house, he came to the house immediately and not only gave us some baits but also sprayed inside - all included in our service agreement. Answered my call, got a VERY friendly rep out very timely (Jim, one of the nicest, coolest guys I've met), he was very thorough with the chemicals, plan of action, and performing the work. Whatever they used work great! I was having to throw out open containers of sugar and pasta, ants crawling out of sockets, under neath cabinets, you name it! Since these guys showed up, I literally have not seen one single ant!
