I enjoyed our time here. I took my wife to this location after a trip to ruby falls. When we first arrived, we sat at a high table. We always chosen booths. We had a menu that we thought was the whole menu. It was the menu that highlights their specials. When our waitress arrived, she gave us the full menu. I just knew it had to be more:) The food was awesome and our waitress was great. I enjoyed our meal and I would definitely recommend this particular place. We ordered take-out from here twice during our roadtrip from Brooklyn, NY to San Antonio, TX, on our way down and then again on our way back up. Have to give props to Logan's corporate for making it soooo easy to order online on their website and then pick up the food. Ordering was seamless. And picking up the food was pleasant as the staff's customer service skills are on point! The staff there were very friendly and helpful. They also included the rolls, which I presume come free when you dine in. It's nice that the kitchen remembers to include these in to-go orders because the rolls are sinfully delicious. read more

We had an early dinner one night as the restaurant was within walking distance from our hotel and appetizers and drinks on a different night. Service was great, quick and detonate both occasions and the food was delicious. This has been the one location that has always been enjoyable to go to...until today. Had ordered 16oz Ribeye. The first time we were brought our food, I got Prime Rib (sent back). The second go around I received 12oz Ribeye. The third time I did get my actual order just not cooked to order and arrived after everyone at table had finished their meal. I will say they did get things taken care of but three tries? Really??? Logan's was just a random pick for the fiancé and i after we found out our first choice was closed on Sunday. This Logan is right down the street from Walmart and reminds me of any other Logan's I've been too. We were immediately greeted when we arrived and it took no time for our server Emily to come and say hi. She was great. Although the food was not the best the service was! Emily was so sweet and her smile and bubbly personality made everything okay. I didn't even mind too much that my ny strip was over cooked from a medium to well done. She immediately had it removed and replaced it with a new one that was perfect. For dinner we ordered the zucchini fries were an appetizer. It was very greasy but good. My fiancé ate it all. The sauce that came with it was yummy. For dinner we had the 16 oz ny strip and my sides included the grilled veggiEs and Brussels sprouts. The sides were great and charred to my liking. When my steak came out the second time it was juicy and well seasoned. My fiancé had the chicken fingers with apple cinnamon and salad with a side of their bourbon glaze and honey mustard. The bourbon glaze was suppose to be tossed in with the chicken and were glad they forgot bc when we asked for it on the side, it was way too sweet for our liking. Overall my favorite part of our dinner was the rolls. Omg Logan's really does have the best yeast rolls ever. We had two baskets and I would have just been happy with those lol. Arrived after long day driving, tired and hungry. Wanted a salad for dinner but, as always, need to avoid gluten and egg. Waitress answered my questions and retrieved a gf menu (unfortunately it was in tiny print with only the dish names, no descriptions or pics like the normal menu and the info was confusing like indicating a salad has gluten simply because of the croutons which are easily left out). Ordered a salad with chicken and a dressing on the side. Took quite a while to get our meals but was extra pleased that woman who brought my salad out said she made sure the chicken was cooked on foil to protect it from the grill. Tasty salad, too. He liked his meal also. Was very busy by time we left so we beat peak time. Overall happy with meal but a bit frustrated that there were so few options without breading and interesting dressings without eggs... felt a bit behind the times in that way. Spending the night in Chattanooga and dropped in for dinner. We used to have a Logan's in Fairview Heights, IL, but the corporation had a retraction of active locations two years ago. Had not eaten at Logan's since then. Food was very good. My wife had the Beef Tips and I had the Salmon from their Healthy Menu (that's not exactly what it was called). Our server was very good, but she had a brain fart when she started bring out the chow. I got a dinner salad, but my wife did not. She apologized when we pointed it out. Had a good visit with her. We also knocked back a large Bud Light and a soda. If we have the chance, we will eat here again! read more

Meh... It's Loagan's. I got the big ribeye and ordered it medium rare. It came out a bit over cooked and fairly chewy. The mashed potato's were bland and just blah. The meat was unseasoned and just not very good. I added salt and pepper, but ultimately it was so bland it needed steak sauce! It's dire if I add sauce to my steak. Anyway, if I had to pick a bright spot in the meal it would have to be the salad. It was really good! Everything else was a solid disappointment. The service was adequate. If you have other options, I'd skip the lookout valley Loagan's. read more

I've had this receipt on my monitor to review since March 2017. EVERY time I think about it my blood would boil. Hubby and I were on our way home from visiting my mum in New Orleans. This was about the half-way point to DC. We were tired of snacks and wanted a real meal so we stopped. MISTAKE! Our server, Sean, was so obviously untrained that I blame the manager responsible. We gave our order and he looked confused so I had him repeat it. Good thing because it was all wrong. Hubby got a steak, I got salmon and steak. We got our beers with the rolls; then salad. I had asked for dressing on side because I find restaurants drown the salad in dressing. It came out COVERED. I picked what I could to eat. Food finally arrived. Hubby wasn't happy with his over-cooked steak but he's not one to complain and just ate it. I asked for a menu and read to Sean the salmon was 3oz. That is about the size of a deck of cards or bar of soap (not weight but the SIZE). The golf balls in my bag were bigger than this! I asked to see a manager. Half-way through hubbys meal he saunters over. I explained the situation. He said I ordered it, I'll have to pay for it. I laughed and replied uh, NO. I haven't touched it and I refuse to pay for it. Call you General Manager and District Manager and we'll discuss it. To which he grabbed my plate, almost spilled contents on table and stomped away. I had to get another server to get our bill. When it came I saw my untouched meal was STILL on bill. I told server to get manager or call the police. I will NOT pay for what I didn't eat. 20 minutes later I got the updated bill slammed on my table by the same manager. Dude, I've been in the restaurant industry since 1986! That is NO way to treat customers. It's a good way to lose future customers. That manager needs training in customer service because he has none. We, like so many other couples budget everything but still think it is important to have a date night and this was our favorite. Visiting east TN on business and decided to try the barbecue in this part of the country. Got baby back ribs 3 nights in a row in 3 different cities: Knoxville, Johnson City, and Chattanooga. So far, Calhouns in Knoxville was best, followed by Logan's in Chatt, and then Smokey Bones in JC. Logan's had a 3 rib sampler for $19.95 with 2 sides- liked the dry rub best, though the bones had a lot of little pebbles that are easy to crack a tooth on. About 80% fall off the bone, but very tasty. Service was friendly but spotty - needed to request more than one napkin and wet naps and a plate for bones. Wine pour was supposed to be 8 oz but was very skimpy. A star off for service and another for short bar pour. Otherwise tasty and filling. read more

Placed order for chicken sandwich and was given hot rolls.. took 18:39 for chicken to arrive - dropped off by non-warier. Chicken sandwich was good. Overall, service could improve greatly! Being pregnant Placed a very simple online order, prepaid and included a tip. Should not have done that. Instead of a garden salad I got a container of lettuce with nothing else in there. Instead of medium-well juicy and tender sirloin it was an over dried cold piece of meat that looked like it was someone's left over. When I saw the bucket of roasted peanuts, I wondered if this was going to be my type of fare. I'm happy to report that everything was delicious. The fries were seasoned exactly how I like them. They were thin but not the ridiculously thin shoestring ones (aka my favorite). I even enjoyed my Caesar salad, and I am definitely not a salad person! The service was excellent, with multiple servers checking on us throughout the meal. What's more, the 2 meals for $14.99 deal is an exceptional value. There was no way to finish it all! We traveled for 11.5 hours and when we finally got to our hotel for the bight, we really wanted to eat something healthy and light. We ordered two salads,, two soups, two iced teas. Essentially the same order for both the man and myself, just a few minor details. We got our order in a good amount of time from DoorDash, but just about everything was wrong. We were really upset especially given the price I paid. I contacted the store and spoke with the manager, Jennifer. To sum up what transpired, DoorDash caused a LOT of issues resulting in us never getting to eat dinner. Jennifer, however, was amazing. She did everything possible to try making it right, and I appreciated the awesome customer service and management style and her consistent communication. I'm really disappointed that I never got my salad, because it sounded fantastic, but Jennifer's behavior helped me calm down quite a bit. She seems like a wonderful person, and Logan's should be grateful to have such a high quality leader on their team that goes above and beyond to the point where she offered to deliver it herself. Would recommend staying away from DoorDash, but the customer service seems outstanding. read more

My family and I stopped in to eat for my husband's birthday and we waited on our food for over 45 minutes and when the waitress FINALLY passed our table we asked about the wait. She said there was a large party, but plates were coming out of the kitchen for other tables left and right. I asked to speak to the manager and he or she NEVER came out to speak to us. The waitress came back by and and we just asked for our ticket. When she came back with it she said she only charged us for our appetizer. My family and I were vacationing in Tennessee for the week and my mother had seen this place online and we decided to stop in and give it a try....Little did we know what we were getting ourselves into. First off were greeted by the host and were asked if a high top table was ok with us but asked if a booth was available and were told there were none open. My sister and I looked around and noticed very quickly that there were at least 3-4 perfectly clean open booths for us to sit at but we went with the table as the host had said there were none for us. After sitting down we began looking at the menus, we did not realize we would have at least 10 minutes before we would even see our waitress (which was well after having to ask another employee if there actually was a server for our section) Thats when we met craigan (which I'm pretty sure was her name I could be wrong). I immediately could tell that she was extremely flustered (even though we were her only table at the time) she asked us for our drinks and after giving our drink order she jetted off back to the kitchen (seeing as we had so much time prior we were ready to order our food but were not even given the chance) we would see her out of the kitchen twice without our drinks only to watch her stand and do absolutely nothing before she eventually brought them to us which is when we asked about the bread we were supposed to receive from the start. At this point we began ordering our food (we had all ordered salads and to our surprise they actually came out before our meal!) I had ordered a dressing that was specific to their restaurant and was brought out the wrong one and upon noticing this I was unsure if it was correct or not and proceeded to ask her to try the dressing to make sure It was the correct one because they looked very similar. I AM NOT EXAGGERATING WHEN I SAY IT WAS AS IF I HAD ASKED FOR HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AS SHE COWERED AWAY FROM ME AND REFUSED TO TRY IT AND THEN PROCEEDED TO FORGET TO BRING THE CORRECT DRESSING ALTOGETHER. It was only after we had asked someone else for it that she would bring it out to us. What ensued after was history: the steaks were dry the rice felt as if it was microwaved and the fries were cold to the touch. All in all I would not suggest you try this place for yourself and AND TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS I AM NOT ONE TO COMPLAIN OFTEN AND I LITERALLY DOWNLOADED THIS APP JUST TO WRITE THIS.
