Steaks were over cooked, and over seasoned, and the kids burger comes out on the roll for a bun, we could not see the meat it was a smashed meatball. We visited while in town for a soccer tournament. The food was good. You can't go wrong with the rolls and my son loved the ribs. My steak was good and the broccoli was perfectly cooked. The best part about our visit was our waitress, Chey. Give her a raise and the EOY award. Chey is the model by which all servers should operate. She was sweet, kind, attentive, and fast. I ordered curbside. I had sent the text saying "here" like I was told to do. I had sat and waited for about 15 minutes before I called, to which it took two seconds to bring it out. Yes I could've called sooner but I had assumed that maybe the food wasn't entirely ready considering I had followed instructions on how to notify staff of my being there. Lastly, when she grabbed the check from me with my 20, I ask if they have just horseradish and she looked at me and shook her head no and walked away then she came back and gave me my change and she didn't tell me to have a nice day but she went to the next table and told them thank you for coming in and for them to have a great day then gave them their check back. That's some shade thrown if you ask me LOL Maybe it's because I ate alone or there was something in the air but it was not a pleasant experience. To start off, I'm still questioning whether our bartender Taylor actually added vodka to my bloody mary. I couldn't tast any type of liquor in my drink. When my husband's steak came out, the middle was cooked perfect. When he cut into the sides, it was still raw. He sent it back and returned it to him without the his side of okra. The entire time we ate, the bartender refilled everyone's drinks multiple times but didn't ask us if we needed anything once. My drink had been empty for the entire hour we sat there. Food was timely and overall quality was ok, but I got quite a shock when I looked at my bill. They had tacked on quite a hefty "carryout " fee. In fact, my total was about 25% above the listed prices on their menu. When I questioned this amount, I was informed that the price increase was new company policy. I paid without further question, but will not return in the future, as a matter of my conviction that a price advertised is what you should be charged. Okay, so the rolls are of course delicious... if they actually bring them to your table. But they are so short staffed and the kitchen staff doesn't seem to be trained properly at all. The teen boys wanted Logan's for the rolls and steak. Specifically. In that order. As we placed our order I asked for a basket of rolls for each of the 2 teens and one for the 2 adults to share. She brought 2 baskets with 3 rolls in each. They devoured instantly. When she came back around and asked if we wanted more we said yes please. She brought 2 baskets this time with 2 rolls in each. They mixed up and gave us a loaded potato instead of loaded mashed potatoes but charged us for a loaded potato. They brought the correction and our salads a few minutes later. I never got the extra dressing I had requested when we originally ordered. She never came back to check on us. The food was good. Service wasn't. We usually tip a minimum of 15% but this time only gave 10%. I honestly felt a little bad but with all the mistakes it was appropriate. Started with a super friendly waitress and seated after waiting approx. 5-7 minutes. We order right away, drinks slow coming to the table, then food seemed to take a while too. After food came still haven't seen waitress since she dropped off drinks, I waited for some time when I saw another wait staff and asked for steak sauce. I noticed half way through my water it had floaters, sat it at the edge of table and when we were nearly finished she came to check on us, I asked for a new water, waited a while (she dropped a salad off at one table, went to the back came back with a ramikin for other table), she came by the table and apologized that they didn't have clean glasses that she couldn't bring me a fresh glass of water. I was taken aback by this and asked if I had options or literally could not have another glass of water, her reply was she would bring me a drink in a to-go cup. Well, I had my first and last visit to Logan's. Eight of us went there for dinner last Friday night. We all had a variety of food. Two of us had our steaks come out well done after ordering them medium rare. And, they both had the medium rare stick in them. My steak was supposed to have the blue cheese and bacon topping and I pointed that out to the server upon sending it back due to being overcooked. Then, who appeared to be the manager (or maybe kitchen manager) brought me a new steak after the mess up. This one again, did not have the toppings, so it once again had to go back for a 3rd time. By the time I got my steak most everyone at the table had finished. What is more is that our two kids ordered the chicken fingers and refused to eat them because they were too salty and tasted bad. What kids refuse chicken fingers???? It was a first for our kids! Not that I am one who needs freebies, but with my steak mess up and the other one at the table, you would think maybe a free beer or dessert would have been offered.
