I was in Galveston for work and was unfamiliar with the area. I love having açaí bowls bc they are a fast and delicious lunch option. This place popped up for açaí bowls and smoothies. They're smoothies are awesome!! Slightly over prices which is why I'm doing 4 instead of 5 stars. They're wraps are very good. Simple yet delicious. Again, slightly over priced but it's nice to have a wrap and/smoothie when "eating out" instead of the other unhealthy options. It's so close to my university also! It's a really quick walk in between classes so it's very conveniently located. Also, the staff is extremely nice and friendly. It's a house made into a mini restaurant, so it's a cute comfy environment. I have never eaten there because I'm usually going right back to school but it is a nice atmosphere. I would recommend Lolo Kai to a friend. read more

If you are reading this and your are in G-Town and you are hungry please stop by and get a wrap and a smoothie, even on a hot 100 degree day you will fill so much better. OHHHH and not only is the food delicious the prices are phenomenal I generally spend about $10.00 that is great as most times I am a baller on a budget. My go to spot for salads and smoothies. The prices to me are reasonable and the portion sizes are just right. I've had the chicken Caesar salad and the chocolate protein smoothie on the menu (can't remember the exact name). I also noticed they didn't charge me for almond milk substitution (HALLELUJAH!!) which is amazing because my lactose intolerance isn't taxed. read more

The wrap was good but could be better. He had better Caesar wrap elsewhere. The bowl I had was very good but to others it's bland. However, the toppings were delicious. Especially the granola. The service was not good. The young lady never smiled and was somewhat ticked off at something. You know I've only been here a handful of times. The food is good and so are the smoothies. However today was a bit different. My smoothie did not taste how it normally does, I added a few things and it tasted like none of the things I added had been put in. I would have gone back but at this point I was already halfway home when I got a taste. I knew from the start when the color was off but didn't think much of it. In addition to that, before leaving I had asked (to what I believe is either the manager or wife of the owner) for something and she had been talking to a regular (to my understanding) that was not purchasing anything but when I had asked for the favor it seemed to be too much to ask. It wasn't greeted with friendliness or understanding but a smug look and a "ssssssure". Maybe if I had been a "regular" or a familiar face I would have been greeted respectfully but that was not the energy I received. Truly the only decent smoothie spot on the island and I don't even want to go back due to lack of respect I received. The owners sit behind the counter making food all day and when people walk in it's just a turn of the head to see who's entering and when it's someone they don't know, there is no recognition or nice greeting just bleh. Loved the GTown Brown smoothie, my stomach was not feeling well today and I originally went to Oasis who's website said they were open on Monday...THEY WERNT!! This is our favorite stop when we come to our place in Texas. We stop almost every day that we are here, and then grab coffee next door. This place was a great experience. I tried the PB&G wrap, and my husband tried the roast beef wrap. Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our choices. The PB&G wrap took me back to childhood days of eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches, but you could taste the hints of honey which brought sophistication to the flavor, and the granola brought much needed texture variation.
