Buckle up Yelpies!!! This place will get your taste buds ready with great appetizers and delicious salads. Then jump into the main menu from beef and chicken to seafood options. And if that's not enough they still have cowboy size desserts!!! Whew ... I'm already wanting to go back for more tomorrow after I sleep this one off... (lol) oh the service and bar drinks are on point. Dust those boots off and round up some friends and get on in here.

    Side strawberry pecan salad

We came in today for my mother in law's birthday. This is our go to spot for family events. We have a few picky eaters in our family but this joint seems to make everyone happy. Yessy took care of us today, there were 10 of us. Of course we were all separate bills and some of the little older ladies with us were kinda needy but she handled it like a boss! She got all of our orders taken, fresh bread dropped off and drinks filled while we were waiting for our food. I ordered a side strawberry pecan salad with a lobster and a side of asparagus today. Surprisingly it's a good amount of food for me. The salad was so good! It was my first time having it and was delicious! The strawberries, grapes, feta and vinegrett went all so well together! It's one of my favorite salads now. My lobster was cooked nicely. My asparagus was on the softer side but still tasty. The salad was such a nice amount that I ended taking my asparagus home cause I couldn't finish it. We ended lunch with a huge birthday dessert. Initially my mother in law wanted to take it home. Yessy forgot and plated her birthday dessert. We shared that thick chocolate cake with the creamy chocolate moose and man it was so good! It also came with a side of ice cream. It was hard to not have a lot of it! That bad boy is over 2400 calories! You know it's going to hit if that's 2 days of your caloric intake! Yessy acknowledged that she messed up and gave my mother in law another side of dessert to take home, how sweet! She got us all separated with our bills, checked out and boxed up! She did such a great job taking care of us and what I enjoyed most about her is the beautiful smile she had in her face the whole time! Longhorn always does such a great job! In sure we will be back soon for another birthday.

Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad with Loaded Potato Soup lunch special

My husband and I love the weekday lunch specials here and since I had a day off, we took the opportunity to visit. The place was relatively busy for lunch hour, but we were promptly seated and able to order immediately. I ordered the grilled chicken and strawberry salad lunch order that comes with a side of soup; loaded potato soup was an easy choice. Hubby ordered the crispy ranch chicken sandwich with fries. Both items are affordable lunch options! We first received crispy crusty bread as a pre-meal tummy stuffer. Cutting the bread blasted crumbs all over the table and the extra cold butter was hard to spread, but the bread was quite hearty and deliciously soft. We quickly received our meals, though my husband's sandwich came without the ranch dressing inside. We had to wait a while until the server returned to the table and another 3 or so minutes until our server returned with mayo (since there was no ranch, he just replaced with mayo instead). Luckily after all that time, his sandwich was pretty warm, as was my soup...so it was a minor inconvenience. This salad was scrumptious...you could taste every element from the freshest strawberries, tender chicken, crispy lettuce, plump grapes, candied pecans, generous feta and a tangy raspberry vinaigrette. I couldn't stop yummmmming all through my salad. The soup was okay...loved the bacon crumbles and green onions, but the potatoes were scarce and it didn't wow me. It may have been a "me" issue. Hubby loved his sandwich...chicken was perfectly cooked and once the mayo was added, he gobbled that entire thing down.

The food was phenomenal!! The loaded baked potato soup was so flavorful!! The steak also melted in my mouth. Our server was very polite and I love when restaurants have a mobile pay option when a place is really busy. The restaurant is also soooo nice I love a good steakhouse and this is definitely that. I would say it was a 4.5 only because the brussel sprouts were not to my liking at all. Way too sweet. Other than that, exceptional food.

Very cute restaurant. I didn't have much hopes as it's a chain restaurant, however, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a salad and loaded potato soup. Soup was delicious. It had good flavor, had pieces of potatoes and nice garnish. I was very pleased. Salad was delicious as well. It hit the spot. My daughter ordered medium rare fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection . Steak was also nicely seasoned. That location has an excellent chef /s on duty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The food was decent, but the lack of service and the unhappiness of the employees ruined our entire experience. We will never be back.

Ask the Community - LongHorn Steakhouse

How ? Is the Parmesan crusted chicken or prime rib sandwich?

Our fresh, juicy, grilled chicken becomes irresistible when we top it with our creamy, crunchy Parmesan and garlic cheese crust. Also, the Shaved prime rib is topped with onions, mushrooms and Swiss cheese on French bread.

If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of lagers and ales. We had our eye on one particular light, crisp option, but they were out for the night. Our server pointed us toward something comparable... I believe it was called Teddy Bearnd...it worked. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

He was very informative about where to go and places to check out in Boise. I ordered one of the local beers and their flagship meal, the Santa Maria Tri Tip Sandwich. As you can see by looking at the photos, the tri-tip was cooked to perfection. It had tomatoes, poblano, and chimichurri sauce on it to add to the flavors of the tri-tip. The bread consistency was great, not too soggy, and with a great crispy texture. I wish they had spread the tri-tip out more to make sure every bite was being celebrated. I also ordered the mac and cheese as the side per the instructions of the bartender, James. Let me say that was one of the best mac and cheeses that I have ever had. Truly amazing creamy texture and full of rich flavor. Everything melted in your mouth. Definitely worth it. I eventually ended up talking to a fellow bar sitter, and he ended up being the co-owner of the place, TJ. He also filled me in on the places to go and, most definitely, the places to travel to, to experience great beer. He was refreshing to talk to since most people don't have the passion for beer that we both represent. I would highly recommend this place for the staff that is there the solid pub style restaurant that they have created. Super easy and relaxed kinda of place.

The reason we went back the second time was because we remembered how good the food was and how nearby it was too. The second time the food was still really good, but the service was HORRENDOUS. Brittney was such a ***** to me and my parents, my mom especially. My mom was complimenting her and something about the food, and she straight up just walked away in the middle of my mom still talking. And no it wasn't busy. It was towards the end of the night, there was maybe 2-3 other customers there. She acted like we were bothering her the whole time. Then once she'd leave us would just stand up at the bar flirting with the other guy working there and just ignore anyone else. Then on top of all of that, my dad tells me she added $10 onto her tip! FRAUD!!! I've attached photos as evidence. My dad still tipped her even though she was so rude and disrespectful. But apparently that wasn't enough for her and added $10 onto the total. I cannot believe that. And my dad tells me it was difficult to get his $10 back after calling and talking to the manager. He didn't get the name of the manager but he said that they were just making excuses and saying oh but she's our best server. Obviously not! Saying things like oh she must've just been really busy. Again, we were there when it was dead and about to close soon, no it was not busy. It's almost as if this business does this type of thing often because there was no alarm from the manager, then finally after much deliberation decided to send back the $10. Absolutely ridiculous. No : "I'm so sorry here's a free meal on us", or atleast a "here's a coupon or gift card for next time you come in", nothing. This is the type of thing that gets people closed down. We should report to the BBB. This is insane. And to not be offered anything to make it right is what really gets me. Like do they not want us to ever come back??? Not to mention tell everyone we know, etc. Yikes! And this is what we get for wanting to support local businesses instead of going to the big chains. What a bummer.
