Hmm. This service here was not good, the waitress staff and another table were gossiping about the amount of food my family and I were ordering, which I did not appreciate. We ordered the Parmesan fries in addition to our entrees... Anyway I got the Parmesan crusted chicken and it was so good - very well seasoned and cooked. I would recommend this dish to anyone, however I don't think I'll be going back to this restaurant. Happy eating! read more

My wife and I had dinner at the LongHorn Steakhouse this evening in Branson, MO. We are here in the off season. I know things can be different during busy season. Seating was quick and our server was excellent and social. Now the meal. What do you order from a steakhouse? No brainer...steak. My NY Strip steak was cooked exactly like I ordered. My wife had the Lemon Garlic Chicken. We split the dishes. Tonight they both were delicious. Mixed salads were very tasty. I have read about inconsistency but not tonight. Cheers to Tamra our server. I ordered a well-done cheeseburger and was served a burger that was medium to medium-rare. Since it was not cooked as ordered, I sent it back. Instead of preparing a fresh burger, the kitchen simply put the same burger back on the grill, overcooked it to the point of being burnt, and then served it back to me. What was even more disappointing was the manager's response. When I questioned why a fresh burger wasn't made after the restaurant failed to cook it correctly the first time, I was told that their protocol is to put the same meat back on the grill. I was honestly shocked that I had to argue over a mistake that wasn't mine. The more I think about it, the more grossed out i am. The idea of taking food that has already been served to a customer, bringing it back into the kitchen, and placing it on the grill alongside other customers' meals raises serious concerns about food handling and sanitation practices. The entire experience was frustrating, unappetizing, and handled very poorly. Mistakes happen, but the way this situation was addressed by management left me not only disappointed but also grossed out. Next time you eat here just think your food could be cooked next to someones already eaten food. read more

My 'medium' steak was a quite under cooked but was much better after we warmed up my leftovers . The service was fantastic, unfortunately I can't remember our Mexican waitress' name but she was great ! The restaurant was clean, well maintained and well lit . My wife and I go to Longhorn Steakhouse semi-regularly. Through the years we have always enjoyed the good food and atmosphere. We've always had great wait staff and the food was always good. However, our last 2 times, the ribeye steak was gristly. When I mentioned it to the wait staff she said, yeah, I've heard that before. Mother's Day dinner in Branson. Tamara was our server and she was perfect- friendly, helpful, attentive, and fun. We had rib eye steaks- husband ordered 20 oz Outlaw and I had 12 oz rib eye. Mine was a great medium rare and his was a great medium. Very tasty. Broccoli and loaded baked potatoes- all delicious. Tamara kept the bread tray full and same with our water glasses. We shared one (huge) serving of strawberry shortcake and it too was fantastic. This was a wonderful meal and, as a server can do, Tamara made it very special. We live here and we went to the Longhorn Steakhouse where we have gone many times. The food we had was not cooked well at all and it did not taste good. My wife came home sick to her stomach. The service was not the greatest either. We heard it was going downhill and we can attest to the fact it has. Go to Cheaders or Texas Roadhouse, the food is a lot better and the service is also. The best steak and grilled anything we ate in Branson. My husband had a ribeye and said it was delicious. Perfectly grilled and cooked to his liking. My Parmesan grilled chicken and half rack of ribs was amazing. So much food we had to take some home for the next day. Just as good leftover. The Environment was aesthetically pleasing and inviting. The Waiter/bartender was very helpful and understanding. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong entrée: ribeye steak sandwich medium well. The meat on the sandwich was too bloody, too fatty and not tasteful. I spent more time picking it apart then enjoying the sandwich itself. I upgraded to the strawberry pecan salad. It had other fruits including grapes and mandarin as well. It had a really good flavor. My husband had the 8oz sirloin the next part is his review "it was made perfectly medium rare. Really good perfect". The best part though? Our waitress Cassie (not sure how it's spelled) she had glasses and black hair. She was amazing and was on top of everything the whole time.
