I was blown away with the amazing service, ambiance and food with our visit to LongHorn. Our server was Hannah and she was so incredibly kind and attentive. She welcomed us and recognized that we were celebrating Freddie's 27th year at camp. On top of her phenomenal customer service skills, the food and drinks were great! She was absolutely amazing and made our visit that much better! Highly recommend!

Firecracker rolls

Service was wonderful, absolutely no complaints in that department. Menu is very tasty but can render a bit on the salty side. In their defense, they do mention upon ordering that their food is "bodly seasoned," and they allow you to have a less salter option if that's required due to a personal diet. My only complaint (which is a personal preference) is the huge flavor profile difference between their firecracker chicken bites and the firecracker chicken rolls. They are COMPLETELY different. I am a huge fan of their firecracker bites and decided to try their firecracker rolls. To my surprise, the flavor profile was nothing alike. Besides being slightly bummed about that, the rest of our appetizers were wonderful.

So yummy! The staff there is amazing and is right on top of empty drinks, our food also came out fairly quick for the time we got there! I recommend the spicy chicken bites as an appetizer. They are SO GOOD. I also recommend the new lemon garlic chicken. I order that every time I go!

Chopped steak with loaded baked potato

Met my friend for lunch here but I read the reviews on Yelp first and I was prepared. Thank god for Yelp because I knew to ask for my chopped steak with very light seasoning. I don't like really salty food. I had a choice of sides so I got the loaded baked potato. The service was excellent! Our waitress Lisa was very attentive. The food came out pretty quickly and was cooked perfectly and not too salty. The price was reasonable also at $13.99. We stayed and talked for about 2 hours and they did not rush us out. The inside decorations are Texas style with a lot of stone and warm colors. Altogether a pleasant experience.

Overall: Disappointed but not horrible Hostess didn't seem very happy to be there. Bread came out hot and fresh Fruit fly in the peach lemonade, either server didn't tell the manager or the manager didn't care. We did get a replacement drink (and made sure it didn't come from their tap) Food was good. I never like it when the server asks the kid(s) if they want some delicious chocolate desert- what kid would say no; and if you're trying to keep within the budget- you saying no will become the bad person.

We there tonight with the hubby and the service was great. Food was dynamite. Everything was cooked the way we ordered it. The server was friendly, the atmosphere was quite and calm. I got the parmasean crusted chicken and baked potato and it was so good! He got the longhorn steak and couldn't even finish it! He couldn't stop talking about the Brussel sprouts with smoked honey butter.

We came in with a party of 9. Even though the place wasn't packed per se, it took them almost 25 minutes to get us seated. The waitresses were friendly and tried their best but they didn't seem prepared to handle a large party. The drinks were quick to arrive, but it took them a rather long time to take our orders and then at least another 30-40 minutes for our food to arrive. Some of the food was hot and some was really cold. Plus my wife's coffee refill never came. Net net we did not have a great experience. Some of the food pics are attached.

Overall food very good. The Parmesan crusted chicken was delicious and the sweet potato was a perfect side. The meal was so big I ended up having leftovers for the next day. The service was good. The place was fairly busy so the server was in a rush but still was attentive to the table.

We arrived to a busy atmosphere that quieted down throughout the night. We started with cocktails which were strong and delicious. The brussel sprout appetizer was to die for, who knew that brussel sprouts go well with blue cheese! I ordered the salmon dish which was incredible. My friend enjoyed the Greek chicken dish. We were disappointed we didn't have enough room for dessert so we'll just have to come back! Other notes: the service was friendly and there was extra parking across the street if necessary. I can't wait to be back to try their specials and seasonal menus

I read up on the menu and discovered they offered lamb chops which is one of my absolute favourites. A taste of home for me! Friendly and efficient staff welcomed us and showed us to our table. So far so good. Very nice young woman looked after us. My wife ordered the rigatoni and I had the chops. She loved her rigatoni so much she's finishing it off 2 days later and still loving it. Sadly my dish was a bit of a disappointment. My two large chops were extremely fatty. It's the kind you simply can't cut through on a slippery plate. Trying to separate what little meat there was from the fat was impossible so I had to give up and bring it home to a cutting board and an extremely sharp knife. I haven't tried to eat it yet but it looks as fatty as the first. Both had been totally covered by a condiment that I think should have been served in a separate container to allow the diner to regulate the amount desired. The base was a pilf which made trying to cut the chops even more difficult because every time the meat or the knife slipped, the table was showered with grains....all a bit slapstick....! As I previously said, my wife loved her meal and the previous visit was epic so I hate to criticise but I'm just trying to be honest and fair. I think $45 for a couple of very fatty chops with not much meat and smothered in a vinaigrette you might not like is a bit cheeky... In different circumstances I would have sent it back. Oh well, you live and learn...

Bottom Line Up Front: Worth the money - YES…read moreFriends and Family Recommendation - YES Yelp Bookmark-able -YES One of my biggest pet peeves regarding dining out is spending good money on average to sub par or poor food. Rest assured, that is not the case when it comes to Stone Creek. From the moment we walked through the front door the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The decor/ ambiance was a pleasant mix between relaxed/casual to upscale. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but welcoming and inviting. Although I'm a local I've not eaten here until tonight...a point I regret. I'm a steak snob that often finds numerous faults in a steak I get in a restaurant knowing I could do better at home. This was not the case tonight. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, was full of flavor, tender and juicy. That alone would bring me back for more, but the mushroom cream I had as a side was spectacular and took my experience to an all never level of enjoyment. My wife had the seared ahi tuna with a duck confetti fried rice. I sampled it...another success story there. I've read plenty of reviews about the price...but I'm here to tell you that the $ is in perfect alignment with the quality, flavor and portions received. I have ZERO negative comments and for the sake of brevity I can only say this.....I WILL BE BACK!!!

Service was very friendly and efficient, and our server Darian did a great job of keeping our drinks full and empty dishes off the table. We all shared the hummus, and although t I didn't get a picture of it, please believe me when I say it was to die for! It had bruschetta on top and the pita had a garlic seasoning on it. So yummy! My mom and I shared a Thai peanut noodle dish and a Chinese chicken salad. Both were flavorful and the portions were generous. I went home with leftovers for both and I www fed for a whole extra meal. Another person in our party got a bang bang pasta dish and enjoyed it - again, large portions! The drink menu looked great but we weren't up for it that evening. Looking forward to going back and trying their variety or martinis. The restaurant was clean and nicely lit, however the music was a little loud. Dinner came out to about $70 for all of us before tip.

We've eaten here a bunch - mostly due to proximity and lack of other options. The food is wildly…read moreinconsistent; sometimes, we're surprised at how good a dish is (usually a special or seasonal dish), but if we order it again, it's never the same. The biggest issues: - Many things seem to have a lot of oil involved. From the side vegetables to the burgers to the "garlic bread" served on the side of the pasta dishes - there's a strong, oily taste. It's not a pleasant oil - my guess is it's ostensibly neutral, like a vegetable or canola, though it leaves a flavor that suggests it's not entirely neutral. Perhaps a fake butter? Why it's so ubiquitous is anyone's guess, but it leaves an unpleasant film in your mouth. While I understand restaurants use a lot more oil/butter than home cooking (it's often why we like restaurant food better), this oil is not good. - The fries. I guess some people like them; I loved shoestring fries as a kid, but these aren't the same. They have no flavor (aside from the aforementioned oil), and they're the consistency of McDonald's fries, but drier and harder. Recently, we got an order that came with a new, more traditional style fry, and they were so good. We were excited that they finally ditched the cardboard variety but that apparently was a one-off - today showed that they seemed to revert to the old style, unfortunately. - They had an amazing chicken bacon ranch pizza for a while, until one day when it was gone. I think the secret was smoked Gouda, but whatever they used, it was a great pizza. When it disappeared from the menu, I inquired and was told, "oh yeah, lots of people are asking for that." So I said, "is it coming back, then?" I was told it's "doubtful," which kinda sums up my experiences there. Everyone loved it and wants it back? Better get rid of it, then. - The kids menu options are somewhat insulting to children. The "grilled cheese" uses what appear to be hamburger buns, so carelessly made that they seldom match up (that is, the top will be skewed off so the sandwich isn't put together). The kids pasta dishes are just plain noodles, usually undercooked, with no seasoning (i.e. salt) or other attention to preparation. The inconsistency is really the biggest issue for me. Things range from "fine" to "bad," but even if you stick with one menu item, you don't know what you're going to get. Non-chain, family-friendly restaurants are seemingly hard to find in this area, so I really wish they were better. We've kept at this place far longer than we probably should, again due to convenience, and because every now and then, a dish will be surprisingly good. However, those instances are becoming so rare, I think we're done for a good while. I do hope they improve.

This place makes the best "slice" of pizza. Not really pizza, but focaccia in a pizza-like style reminiscent of Sicilian style pizza. What sets this piece of tomato, dough, and cheese apart is the magic that happens between the layers. There's a middle layer on top of a perfectly crispy bottom and below the extremely tasty cheese top that is both flavorful and has the most pleasing texture. Put it all together with a little charred pepperoni and you got heaven on Earth; truly a spectacular "slice." Also available plain or with sausage. I had mine at room temperature. Soooooo good. Take it from the Pizza Maven. They got something REALLY special here. BTW, the wraps were very good, too. Nicely grilled chicken in a soft wrap stuffed with fresh veggies, fresh mozzarella, almonds, & even strawberries. It worked out to be an interesting, delicious combination. But, when I go back (and I'm going back sooner than later) it's going to be focaccia all the way. Thank you Mixing Bowl for showing me the light in the darkness of the Syracuse pizza world.

Our server was super nice and cheerful. I ordered the waffle breakfast sandwich and matcha and felt both fell flat. I love matcha but I really try and only drink ceremonial grade. It was my mistake that I didn't ask before I ordered. This matcha was premixed and came out looking a slightly greenish off white rather than a rich grassy color. I didn't dock points for the matcha though because a ton of places don't do this drink well. My sandwich was good enough but it overall lacked flavor. The eggs were under seasoned and I wish the waffle was crispy versus soggy. It also didn't have much bacon on it. The home fries were excellent though. Perfect color and seasoning, no notes. Rancher's Choice has been on my list for a while in my search for great BBQ in CNY. Recently stopped with some friends for lunch but unfortunately, it was a let down. We had a reservation just in case, but it was 1PM on a Sunday, so we were sat immediately - 1 or 2 other tables sat. Our server was with us immediately. My wife and I ordered a 2 meat platter to share with smoked kielbasa, brisket, smoked mac & cheese and onion rings. One of our friends also ordered a platter, while the other, who's a pescatarian, went with shrimp scampi. Our food was brought relatively quickly and mostly everyone felt their dishes were just okay. Our 2 meat platter had small portions (for 2 people, maybe that's on us), all our meats were cold, a small squirt of BBQ sauce on our meats, and our smoked kielbasa and smoked mac and cheese had no smoke to them and just tasted like normal offerings anyone could have prepared. While we know most of the pricing when it comes to BBQ comes along with the labor involved in preparing it, what was served to us simply wasn't worth over $30. With only 1 or 2 other tables sat, we didn't feel there was any reason for our meats to be cold either. Our server was great, personable and attentive. Don't think we'd give it another chance.
