Had a late lunch and the entire dining experience was excellent...service and food. We were quickly seated in the bar area which was nice and quiet. The server quickly appeared and greeted us and left menus and took our drink orders. We ordered the 1/2 slab of BBQ ribs and a cup of Loaded Potato soup. Also ordered the 6 count of Chicken Tenders and the Parmesan Fries. We were served a warm loaf of butter while we waited for our dinners. Our server, Amelia was friendly, polite and efficient. She promptly took our orders. Have not been to the Longhorn for quite sometime so we were very surprised by the delicious ribs and the BBQ sauce and the hand breaded chicken tenders are some of the best, not the frozen air fryer type. The Parmesan Fries were in one word "delicious". Our server was attentive without being obtrusive. Great service and would recommend. The prices are competitive or even better for the quality of food we received.

We arrived shortly after 6pm for an early birthday celebration. Erica was our server. Perhaps restaurant was a little loud, because Erica was hard to hear and understand for both my wife and I. We started with the nice loaf of bread which seems like it is better than it used to be. We ordered the Shrimp appetizer which came out with our entrees. We usually order the shrimp appetizer and finish it before our meal arrives. It is goood. Wifey ordered the dinner salad. I ordered, for first time, Chopped steak with mushrooms and sauce with a DRY stuffed baked potato. I should have asked for some butter and/or sour cream. I wouldn't order this meal again. It was okay, but I left some behind. I could have used a refill of water. Usually, I eat all my food or take it home. On this occasion, we ordered chocolate cake with ice cream. We ate the ice cream and took the cake home. The cake and ice cream were good. Most of the time we have a 5 star experience. This time, my birthday, not so much.

Many years ago, before there were any Longhorns in the Louisville area, we dined at Longhorns in Florida. We loved it. We were extremely happy when Longhorn opened in the Eastern of Louisville. Even happer when they opened in Clarksville. When they first opened in Clarksville, we became regulars. So much so, the manager at the time would always come to our table and call us by name. Fast forward several years. The quality of food deteriorated and we just no longer enjoyed their food. Yesterday, after not dining here in years, we decided to give them another try. It was my wife's birthday and we took her friend with us. Sad to say, our meals were underwhelming. My wife and I both had Flo's Filet. Her side was a baked potato and she added a Caesar Salad. My side was what they call Crispy Brussel Sprouts. We both ordered our steaks Medium. Both steaks came out well done. Additionally, the steaks were supposed to be 6 ounces. Of course I didn't weigh them, but they both were the size of a thin small hamburger patty. My Sprouts, which they call Crispy, I describe as burned to a crisp. Additionally, the Sprouts were very hard. The one positive was my wife's salad was excellent. We complained to our waitress. To her credit, she took both our plates back. About 10 minutes later, we were served new meals. After receiving our meals, my steak was cooked correctly, but my wife's was still over done. She went ahead and ate it due to her friend almost being done eating. Our check with no alcohol, one water and one tea was $59.33 not including tip. Pitiful. This was our last visit to this Longhorn.

Another positive experience at Longhorn. I visited two nights in a row while in town for work. A great options for anyone- especially those on a low carb diet. The first night the good timing was off, with my appetizer barely reaching the table before my salad and filet were brought. The second night the waitress, who I believe is a trainer, knew exactly how to avoid this using a timing feature in their system which made my meal much more enjoyable. As always- my only complaint about Longhorn is their deceptive tipping suggestions which calculate the suggested tip after tax. They know this isn't right- which is why they add a disclaimer to the bill I doubt anyone reads. Aside from this misleading practice the food and service were great.

Good food and okay service. Ate at the bar and the bartender was so busy it was hard to find someone to ask for condiments, salt pepper and more water. Fast paced so I kinda felt rushed to eat and get out but the food was really good. Lots of parking.

The American breakfast had large potato pieces, good sausage, and made to order eggs. Hot coffee was on the better side for hotel coffee. Dinner: they were super accommodating, as we were traveling with a friend with an infant. I called ahead to let them know we would come in with a stroller, and they made sure to sit us in an area where the stroller was not in the way of servers or other guests. Our server was one of the most attentive people I have ever met, and every recommendation they gave was fantastic. We started with the oyster rockefellar and the spicy tuna tartare. The oysters were massive and the tuna dish was so good, we got it a second time later in the weekend. We all got steaks for our mains and added a lobster tail - there was a mix up with the lobster tail taking a bit and they ended up bringing out the largest lobster tail to make up for it. All steaks, their sides, and sauces were fantastic- better than most I have had in the DC area. The food was all rich so under order or share amongst friends. Cocktails were of course fantastic, from espresso martinis to the famous smoked old fashions. We had drinks at the bar another night and the service was just as good, though they did tell us that they didn't serve the drink in a smoke box when we certainly had one just a night before.

They offer valet parking for $14, but street parking was easy to find and just a short walk away. We started with the Caesar salad and the wedge salad. Both were good, although the wedge had a bit too much dressing for my taste. I ordered the filet with mashed potatoes, asparagus, and mushrooms. The filet was excellent, and while I'm not usually a mushroom person, these were truly outstanding. The bread was also some of the best I've ever had. I also ordered one of the mocktails, which I enjoyed because it wasn't overly sweet. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the service. Our waiter was efficient, but he wasn't particularly friendly, and the entire meal felt rushed. Several times, someone tried to clear my plate while I was still eating. We also had to ask for more time more than once before ordering because we felt pressured to make decisions quickly. With a bill of over $300, I expected a more relaxed dining experience where we could enjoy the evening at our own pace.

We came for my partners bday dinner & we definitely want to go back & have already been recommending it to others!! For apps, I ordered lobster bisque & he ordered French onion soup & we both agreed the quality is the best we've had in Louisville, he even went as far to claim it's the best he's had in Louisville. So delicious!! We both weren't fans of the candle bread, sure it's intriguing & unique but it was too oily, bland, & salty to really enjoy. For entrees I had the NY strip which was made med rare exactly how I enjoy it along with their homemade steak sauce but be wary the charge $2 for it!!! My side was the shepherds pie & I was extremely full & couldn't finish anything the soups were filling!! My partner ordered ribeye and omg it was amazing, sooooo juicy & yummy full of flavors I wish I had gotten it, thankfully he shared. He ordered side of parm broccoli & they're very generous with the cheese that he even had to scrap some off. We had to order the complimentary multi layered dessert to go because we were toooooo full!! Everything was worth the money well spent & I paired mine with extra dirty martini & both my partner & I claim it's one of the best we've had! This place is def worth the hype & we should've gone here sooner!!! I want to check out their downtown location as well, but it's also nice to shop around the Westport area. Love love love!!

Rich, flavorful, and completely addictive, it disappeared fast. The warm butter rolls arrived alongside pesto butter, but I stayed loyal to regular butter. No regrets. A quick shoutout to our server, Devante. He was new, but you'd never know it. Friendly, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable about the menu, he handled everything like a seasoned pro and made the experience even better. For dinner, I ordered the chicken piccata with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts. While the chicken was excellent, the Brussels sprouts stole the show--perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and easily the standout item on my plate. Dad went with the Mediterranean chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The chicken was a winner, though the broccoli was a bit tougher than expected. Mom chose the voodoo shrimp and fries, but honestly, her true love affair of the evening was with the lobster dip. I'm fairly certain she consumed enough of it for the entire table. By this point, we were all happily full. But there was still one reason to save room. The strawberry shortcake. Light, sweet, and absolutely unforgettable, it was the highlight of the entire meal. The kind of dessert that quiets the table and leaves everyone smiling after the last bite. That alone is reason enough to come back.

Their claim to fame seems to be 1) Muhammed Ali used to eat there and 2) they wouldn't serve OJ Simpson and kicked him out. Nick was our incredibly friendly and knowledgeable server. I ordered a half dozen oysters, an iceberg blue salad and a Cowboy rare petite filet mignon steak. We also shared a large side of shishito peppers. The oysters were very fresh and spot on, served with horseradish, vinegar, fresh lemon and Tabasco. They weren't fully shucked, so I had to pry them from the shell. My salad never made it to the table. Nick was mortified and offered to make it right with dessert (which I politely declined). The steak was good and was cooked rare, the way I asked. The weird thing was that the rare steak tasted dry - maybe it was the rub, but a rare steak should not taste dry. Almost like it was cooked medium. I told Nick I liked the steak but it might have been the seasoning that made it taste dry. They comped the steak. Outstanding. They earned a star back. Nick knew how to make a customer feel welcomed, special, and appreciated. Definitely worth a visit, but bring a credit card with a high limit.
