I enjoyed it so much so, I forgot to take pictures before we dug in so, my apologies for the unappealing photos! ‍ I myself got the sirloin with Alice springs chicken while my partner got the sirloin with grilled shrimps. For my sides I got the loaded mash potatoes and seasonal vegetables which was broccoli and my partner got the Caesar salad and steakhouse mac and cheese. I had stated I wanted a Medium Well steak and my partner wanted well done. His steak was perfectly cooked yet mine was medium rare. I requested it to be more cooked and when it came back it was still pretty pink but obviously didn't want to wait anymore time so I just took it. I just find it funny how they hammered his steak and mine didn't make the cut. The chicken however was perfect. I am a sucker for mushrooms!. As for the sides the loaded mash potatoes were delicious! I usually have all those fixins on a baked potato so it was a nice change on mash potatoes. As for the steakhouse Mac and cheese that was a thumbs down for us. I'm not sure what seasoning they add (I'm assuming Cajun) but it was a bit too much. The brocoli and caesar salad was as basic as always. For drinks we got the Wallaby Darned which basically tased like a boozy smoothie but delicious nonetheless. The take out person was a very nice individual. The food portion was terrible. I ordered 6oz sirloin and grilled chicken meal. The portion was a toddler meal. I order this same from Longhorn and the size of the steak and chicken is double. I am so disappointed that I had to go back out and get my son a burrito to fill him. I have always been a fan of Outback Steakhouse in Parsippany but have not been out to dine in a while, as prices have gotten so steep all over. Today I had a situation where I could not eat until late afternoon and living a keto lifestyle; I was very hungry, not in the mood to go into Foodtown on Senior Wednesday and cook, so I pulled into Outback. Since it was an odd hour, really no crowd and service was swift. I splurged on the 15 oz. Delmonico Ribeye, ordered rare...veggie sides. No regrets! Very nicely charred on the outside for wonderful flavor, yet tender, juicy and perfectly rare inside. My server, Darla, was very pleasing. I almost took a star off because the only way to pay is a tablet on the table which I don't like, but she earned the star back by walking me through all the steps. We came here pretty early (around 5 pm) so we didn't have to wait too long to get seated. The restaurant was clean and our seats (a booth) was comfortable. Our server, Lea, was very friendly and was very helpful and understanding. Normally I get seafood when I go to restaurants. This time I decided to try the 12oz Prime Rib with rice and sweet potato. I rarely eat at chain restaurants, but I had asked my girlfriend a while back if she'd ever been here and she said no so it was a must to stop in and have a drink and a blooming onion with her. This Outback in particular had great service and a wonderful staff. The managers come over several times to introduce themselves and ask about the food, which was appreciated. We had the bread and butter of course because that's one of the main reasons to come here. Endless and marvelous! We ordered the blooming onion, a loaded potato, and a side salad. We also ordered a Blue Moon for me and a Sauza Gold Coast Rita for my girlfriend. I always like to sit in the bar area in the booths because I like to watch the games and it's always a more vibrant area. This is one of our family's go-to local restaurants. The service is always great, the managers always check on the tables and the food is always on point. They have a great kids menu (Mac and cheese, sirloin steak, grilled cheese, etc) and the kids menu doubles as a coloring page - crayons included! My kids loooove the bread and butter at the table and we are usually in and out pretty fast which is a must for our family when dining out! We've been outback customers for many years but recently the quality hasn't been the same. The ribeye is on the thin side. Long horn which is a few miles away gives you a much thicker cut. I got the ribeye without bone and it was cooked medium rare. It was fatty and soft. My wife's bone-in also got medium rare but it was not nearly as good. The quality of the meat was not as good and as fatty. This is also true for the past few times we went there. I was surprised my steak was actually pretty good. The fries a little too salty for my taste. I like the potato soup that came with the steak. The service was pretty good. But I think for the price, long horn gives you a better and thicker cut of meat and it's cooked better. read more

Went to dinner last night and had a very good meal at the outback in Parsippany. I had the Ribeye steak and Coconut Shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The shrimp was delicious. Had a nice crisp finish. My daughter had the Sirloin and chicken which was very good. What made the dinner even better was the service we received from our server, Thomas. He was the best! It just adds so much to your dining experience when you have such a great server. Atmosphere was typical Outback. Dining room and bathroom were very clean. He was excellent! Drinks: We started out with a beer and a glass of Francis Ford Coppola Cabernet. Bread- We could've made a meal out of the delicious bread with butter! Entrees: We ordered a filet mignon with lobster tail and ribeye with coconut shrimp and 2 sides. The entrées were excellent and reasonably priced. The meats were prepared just as we requested. Dessert: We shared a delicious and decadent butter cake with strawberries and whipped cream. : D The Parsippany Outback Steakhouse was just as good, if not better and much less expensive than any five star restaurant. We received a number of gift cards for the holidays and decided to use them the week between Christmas and New Year's. We thought it would be bonkers with huge waits, but we were seated right away. The service was great, and all the food was delicious. We started with a Bloomin' Onion, of course, which was perfection. My sister really wanted the lobster tails and we were told they were out of them, BUT the server double checked and discovered they did indeed have lobster tails, which was a happy circumstance. I opted for the Queensland Chicken and Shrimp Pasta which was so good! All the food came out nice and hot, and it was all pretty fast, too. We had no room for dessert, but we still have money left on the gift cards, so we'll be back. read more

Normally order takeout from here (9/10 times the order is perfect, this location is stellar) but decided we needed to get out of the house for good food at a reasonable price. We had such a nice time here the day after Christmas. The drinks and food were delicious. My salmon was cooked perfectly and the broccoli was next level. Only improvements I would recommend would be additional staffing for days after a holiday and checking burger temps since some of our burgers were under/over based on what they ordered. Also I kept getting skins in my mouth from the blooming onion but not a big deal. Joe was absolutely amazing and took great care of us even though he had a lot of tables. So, I find myself hungry on the road in Parsippany New Jersey, and I decide to hit an old standard, the Outback Steakhouse. Haven't been in awhile, so there was a bit of sticker shock (inflation is REAL, y'all!) but overall not bad. The brown bread was warm, but lacked a distinct flavor, more filling than tasty. The ceaser salad was a garden variety salad (yeah, I did). The entrée was the Bloomin' chicken, a new item for me, and it was juicy and flavorful, the onion spices work on chicken. Added a loaded baked potato, which, was good but nothing special, which really describes my experience here, good but not special. The bar server was great, timely and quick with the refill, while the door and other staff suffered from being compared to their coworker, lending even more to the good, but not great experience. We have been here a few times and also ordered takeout - we haven't been in a while and decided to stop in on a Friday night. VERY disappointed. We paid over $150 for basically inedible food. The seasoning was SO SO salty on everything , from the fried shrimp app to the mashed potatoes to the VERY salty filet. Not worth spending that amount of money on very below sub par dinner. Most chain restaurants normally miss the mark, but this one totally doesn't! I've been here a few times, and during each visit I experienced excellent customer service and great food! The staff is friendly and attentive and the manager is always present. I'm not a steak eater, but I've tried several other entrees and they were all a hit. I highly suggest their clam chowder soup and the carrot cake for dessert- SUPER DELICIOUS! They have plenty of parking and there's also outside seating. I placed an 11:30 pickup. I arrived a little early and noticed from my car that there was an order ready on the shelf. A minute later I received a text that my order was ready and to provide my parking spot # which I did. And I waited. And waited. And waited. After waiting for 10 minutes, I walked in and retrieved my order while their just stared. I wish I could lower the tip I added to my order. Well here it is - the absolute WORST restaurant experience ever. Outback used to be our "go to" chain restaurant for good food and especially for the enthusiastic, outgoing and professional service. This evening was so bad - I was looking for the hidden cameras, thinking maybe I was being "punked." We arrived 5:30 this past Saturday night 9/24/22. Things got off to an ominous start when the guy working the podium up front could not figure out how to seat 5 people, in a half empty restaurant. We get seated and we wait and wait and wait - a solid 30 minutes. I walked to the front to see if anyone told the staff we were seated and it was apparent this gentleman at the podium did not understand a blessed thing I was saying. Finally, someone resembling a server, steps up to our table apologizing profusely that he "is brand new." We placed a drink order, our appetizers and entrees, all at once. 30 more minutes pass! When we finally got our newbie waiters attention, he acted like this was normal, "I put the drink order in right after you ordered it, oh - did I mention I am brand new?" Well son, maybe you are in the wrong line of work! Incidentally during this maddening hour we asked for the Manager THREE times. Finally, a Manager shows, hears our tail of woe and within seconds - there are drinks on the table. And get this! She tells us not to worry because the kitchen staff finally showed up!! No - I cannot make this up, 6:30 on a Saturday and no kitchen staff? Appetizers show up and they are stone cold. None of us had small plates and our newbie waiter said he would bring them and never did. Same goes for the bread he was supposed to bring 30 minutes ago. I did manage to order another beer and he comes back later to tell me "there is none left, or that's what he told me anyway?" Huh?? Miraculously about 15 minutes later - the beer shows up with yet another reminder that he is new. Well instead of repeating this ad nauseum to longsuffering customers, how about actually doing your damn job? Entree's arrive and some of us had the wrong steaks, cooked to the incorrect temperature and sides were missing. Getting anyone's attention was as futile as trying to clap with one hand. Finally this miserable experience ended and Outback has lost longtime customers FOREVER. As we were leaving, other tables were complaining to the Manager about the same issues we faced. Oh and if the Outback crew is reading this, please spare me the stock, "cut and paste" answers you give everyone. It is bad form and does not come off in the least bit sincere. read more

Been here couple times now, and honestly, i think this place is really good... given the fact that if you go on a weekday after lunch hour rush (like after 1pm or so..) Service is great, food is great, and you can actually enjoy sometime with your friend, chit chatting without feeling you are being rushed to get out... not sure about rush hour (lunch or dinner) so yeah, go at your own "risk"... usually when we go we order the ribeye steak (yes, even at lunch time)... i personally feel that this steak is the best!! soft and juicy - order it medium rare usually comes out perfect... melt in your mouth... just kinda not a fan of the sides... i mean, sweet potato, bake potato, steamed veggies, fries... i had better so that doesn't really impress me, and if i want soup i need to pay extra... so yeah... steak itself is good... i would go back for more if i don't feel like grilling it myself, or when i am with friends... other lunch special is pretty good too - their burger is good!! tasty, juicy... and the price is not crazy, which i like... definite a good place for lunch (or should i say late lunch??) read more

Came to just eat some food and it was well spent, we were taken care by our waitress who which I thought was very pretty but that's not the point. Food came out on a good timing basis. Even though we came a little close to closing we did have to rush our food because we felt bad and didn't want anyone staying late to clean up after us. I also had a fine wine which I can't seem to locate the name of but when I go back I will ask for it. Everything was friendly, One suggestion is having some mosquito candles or something because I was getting bit left to right . They enjoyed me more then I enjoyed the salad. Yes my dish was the Cobb salad that I didn't get to eat only because I'm not a big fan of Cheese and I didn't want to be a pain in the ass to tell them that.
