    Ribeye & Loaded Baked Potato
    Salma S.

Service is actually great, super attentive staff. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a roadhouse type restaurant, casual and clean. We had a NY strip, ribeye and sirloin- lobster chowder, house salad, Cesar salad, fries, mushrooms and baked potato. I'm going to age myself here and say this took me back to the days of sizzler. This place was exactly what I expected, decent steak and reasonable prices. The strip and ribeye were good all the steaks were cooked perfectly. The sirloin was lackluster didn't have any seasoning. The sides were all decent. And at around $100 total plus tip for 3 people it's not bad. If you are thinking all the steaks are flame grilled they are not so make sure you ask before ordering but all in all pretty decent. I was actually surprised at the cook it was impressive that I did not see a single one sent back and all 3 of ours cooked exactly as we asked was an unexpected boon.

Sitting at the bar for 10 minutes before anyone says anything to you. Knowing that she seen me sit down. I use to come here often but stopped because of the same problem. Somethings never change. My advice, do not sit at the bar. If you don't believe me, try it.

Had a really great experience at Longhorn steakhouse from the time we entered until the time we were seated, the customer service was amazing. It wasn't very busy so it was a nice buzz, but it wasn't loud inside of the restaurant . Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu. She even went above and beyond making a ginger beer for the table. We ordered the kids meals so that they came out early, and they wanted the steak with grapes. Both kids really enjoyed their meal and enjoyed buttering their own bread. The bread was fresh. She also brought a fresh loaf when dinner arrived. I'm so glad they brought the lamb chops back because they were incredible! I seriously want to go back and get another plate. It paired very well with the sweet potato. Make sure to request the Parmesan crust. It was so good. I'm pretty sure it would taste great on anything. I would definitely recommend this place for a family meal or just a solo dinner at the bar. The drinks were pretty good as well.

I placed my order to go online. Everything went well and online. The salad, baked potato and spinach was good. The lamb chops were very disappointing. They were grilled, they come with 5 and 3 of them tasted burnt it was not tasteful at all. I could not eat those 3 due to the burnt taste. I wasted my money on the dinner I wanted to be tasteful and cooked as I expected.

We haven't been to a LongHorn Steakhouse in ages, but we were hankerin' for a good hunk of beef so we thought we'd give this location a try. The restaurant is in the LaFrontera shopping district so there's a variety of stores and restaurants nearby. We arrived early (about 5:15 pm) so it was not very busy. We were seated promptly. We were a little concerned about our server who seemed a bit harried; it looked like they were understaffed and he was covering a lot of tables. Not to worry, our drink orders and food came out promptly. Fresh bread and butter arrived first, followed by our Caesar salads, which are a large portion item at LongHorn with plenty of salad and shaved Parmesan cheese. These were actually good. Main course consisted of a ribeye steak and the cowboy pork chops. The steak was perfectly cooked medium rare and the pork chops were just right, cooked enough to eliminate the pink but not the juice. The price for two dinners was extremely reasonable as well. I think we'll be coming back. Recommended.

8oz Renegade Serloin, Crispy Brussels Sprouts and an amazing Cesar salad, the service was timely, well dressed servers, and respectful. Ambience, for a Texas steak house, it's got the ambience of a Texas steak house. This place can get you a great picture, just take a look below. This place is for anyone that loves a good steak, and is looking to make memories with loved ones and wants a Texas steak house experience. Lovely night.

I visited this location on Saturday for my birthday and it was a very nice experience. I got the Parmesan crusted cowboy pork chops and it was delicious. I also had my Wife,Son,Mother, and Grandmother with me and the service and food quality was excellent. The server was very professional and friendly. I will definitely be returning soon.

I absolutely love ordering dinner to-go from here. Ordering online is so easy and usually my order is ready exactly when promised. It's delivered right to my car and is always packed up nice and neat. Price wise it's quite resonable for the good quality food and nice sized portions. Definitely worth it.

Went on a Saturday night so service was of course to be expected busy and hectic. However our waiter only did the minimum check in and was mostly absent from us to make this a great experience. But now let's talk about the food, for the price you are paying, i would have expected an exactly perfect cook temp and juicy steak. But what we got was a temp higher than what we ordered and charred bits that ended up tasting bitter instead of amazing. Honestly being in Texas, there is much more better places that should be better for the same price However their margaritas are extremely amazing especially the new one the passion fruit margarita. And it's actually a good deal so get that while it lasts! Avoid the steaks and get something else here

    Steve W.

To be honest, the primary reason we came here was because I had a $25 gift card which I discovered basically covered the tip. I also had plenty of time to read all the post Covid reviews, but somehow yelpers left out the fact this place has no frozen drinks nor any locally made craft beer. Nonetheless "the perfect" margarita and the Shiner seemed to suffice. We got here for a very late lunch and well before the dinner rush, so there only a few patrons. Most of the seating here is in booths which adds to the intimacy and there's only two flat screens at the bar which is well stocked. After ordering our two entrées, we were offered a loaf of their warm wheat bread and butter. Our two steaks came out exactly the way we ordered them. Keep in mind, the quality of the steaks are pretty much your average grocery store select brand, but they do have an aged steak for twice as much. Our entrées seemed a little bit high on the sodium scale and the baked potato rolled in kosher salt added more to it. The best side seemed to be the brussels sprouts ($2.79 extra) which were smoky and flavorful. We finished the meal off by splitting a strawberries and cream shortcake which was exceedingly moist. When it's time to settle up, you won't be faced with a handheld device with a recommended tip. Our server Matthew was very attentive and helpful as were the other staff we encountered. It's a place I would visit again. Check out the bill and the photos below for more insight.

6oz. Renegade Sirloin with 8ct. Redrock Grilled Shrimp

I am in the Round Rock area for work. Longhorn is on the way to my hotel and I knew I would not be disappointed. I was looking for a small steak and decided on the 8oz Renegade Sirloin and 8 count shrimp. The shrimp was on point. The strawberry Pecan salad is what keeps me coming back. I keep having to remind myself that I am not a fan of sirloin. I asked for it medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. The steak was tender, I powered through and this is just a lesson and needed a reminder Grilled shrimp 8/10 Renegade 8oz sirloin 4/10 Sweet potato 7/10 Strawberry Pecan salad 10/10

The steak was cooked well, and the potatoes tasted good. It was nice to see that they are made from scratch.  The salad was boring; however, the vegetables were fresh. The baked potato was large and came with the standard cheese, bacon, sour cream, and onions. It was cooked well and tasted good. The bread was fresh but didn't seem right for this meal. Every time you pulled a piece, it crushed. Nothing to butter. All that said, the shrimp was a major disappointment.  They were supposed to be grilled, but they tasted like they were steamed.  Disappointing. Will we be back? The jury is still out.

Backyard patio has some big bricks for the kids to play with. Parking is a bit confusing at first but there's additional parking to the side if the entrance lot is full. We sat outside and ordered the following dishes: Coxinha (shredded chicken croquette) was excellent and very kid friendly. Crispy on the outside while incredibly creamy and soft on the inside. 9/10 Bolinha de Queijo (fried cheese balls) were my son's favorite, basically their version of mozzarella sticks. 9/10 Pizza Queijo, cheese pizza with crust stuffed with Brazilian cream cheese, really good. 8/10 Espetinho de Chicken Heart, my wife's choice and she loved it. Dense, slightly chewy, and best with lime and the creamy pepper sauce the waiter brought after I asked. 8/10 Strogonoff de Frango, the standout main dish. Rich, creamy, perfectly seasoned sauce with excellent rice and crispy potato sticks. 9/10 Caipirinha Tradicional, solid and paired well with the savory dishes. 9/10 Caipirinha de Caju, my wife loved it, perfectly balanced sweetness. 10/10 Brigadeiro (dessert) taken to go. Small but tasted as expected. 7/10 Pricing is mid range and actually lower than expected overall though drinks can push the bill up quickly. Overall, great vibes and a very enjoyable experience. Best suited for dates, special occasions, or family outings. I would definitely come back, especially to try more appetizers, different pizza options, the Strogonoff de Frango again and try some new dishes. 4.5 / 5 rounded up!

Luckily, they were able to seat me anyway. This is a casual restaurant with a full bar. I was going to eat 4 times today, and needed to pick something light, but ended up with the escondidinho de carne, a shepherds pie like dish, chicken skewers and a dragonfruit caparinha. Cocktail- served in a lowball and looked great upon presentation. This tasted pretty good, but ended up being so small with a lot of ice, unfortunately. Skewers - these were pretty good with a nice grilled flavor. I loved the texture. Escondidinho de carne - this is a really good dish with ground beef that doesn't have many veggies like the Irish version, but still very good. The visit was not without a miscues though. I asked the waitress for an extra plate when she brought the entree out, but she never returned. Then, at the end, I finished my meal and nobody was coming to my table to give me my ticket. I had other places to be so I had to walk to the register and ask for my bill. Another person at the bar, who I had never seen come to my table, prepared the bill so I could pay. This was a little bit awkward and just seemed like the employees were flustered due to the holiday or something and just forgot about me entirely. If I ever return, I will have to come back and try the steak on my next visit. It looked really good!

I said this was my first time here, and that I was excited to try them. She was super polite, very friendly. She sat me at a booth. She walked away for a quick minute and came back with a water glass and a small pitcher of ice cold water. My server came around. And gave me my menu and said you gotta try the whiskey Cake. Cake? Did someone say cake? Yes please. With cake on my mind. I thought I better balance this out. So I played it safe and got the grilled chicken salad. Also she said everything is house made from scratch, such as the cocktails, juice, salad dressing and so on. I did order a juice from the bar. It was the Jessica Wabbit with mint, carrot, lime, ginger, and some other flavors. The drink was handed to me first. Lovely flavors, could taste the fresh mint, fresh ginger. A little sweetness with the pineapple. Brilliant mix of flavors. The salad was very large. Dressing was fresh, rich with basil and garlic. Chunks of bacon and wedges of hard boiled eggs, avocado chunks, blue cheese scattered around, and the grilled chicken, warm juicy and beautifully chard. Love that charred flavor. The salad dressing was really delectable. Wonderful salad. Next came the whiskey cake. This cake should be its own food group. The cake itself has a beautiful flavor, it's a little dense, in a good way. The sauce is outstanding, it's toffee and sweet. Heavenly really. Pecans on top are spiced. I could only eat half of the cake. I'll snack on that later tonight. The food was outstanding. I would love to come back and try other food items. Service was perfection. I had so many wonderful conversations with everyone I came in contact with. I was wished well by everyone I passed by. Even in the bathroom, the host was coming out and she asked how my visit was. I mean, just the most genuine southern hospitality. Top notch service! Parking lot was packed. And they do have a pretty large lot all around the building. The whiskey cake is probably this restaurant's saving grace as the cake is decadent moist, and the combination of the pecans with the caramel and the whipped cream all just make it so delicious. It was definitely worth the wait to have it at the end and in retrospect, it probably would have done well to have first since the food that we ordered was a little more on the lackluster side. I found it hard to be impressed by the prime rib and Gouda stack as they were no defining flavors for this rather expensive sandwich and the mac and cheese was also not very memorable. When it comes to the service provided at the restaurant, there were many times where it felt as though our table had been forgotten to be waited upon, despite there not being many other people at the restaurant. Overall, I think my experience at Whiskey Cake was OK and while I may not return for the food necessarily, I would for the cake.
