First time at a Longhorns! It was delicious start to finish. The ambiance was classy but cozy. Loved the lighting and seating placement. Our server was wonderful. He knew the menu, was attentive and helpful. Started with Wild West shrimp which were divine!!! So crispy, salty and sour. I loved it!!!! Margaritas were huge and delicious. The Parmesan crusted chicken was mind blowing. It was a huge succulent breast that was perfectly seasoned and topped with a cheesy, savory cream sauce. 10/10. We ate at longhorn last week. We were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary atmosphere was great. I ordered the ribeye with bone in and I ordered it rare and it came out perfect the service was just OK. They were not too many people in there at the time that we went so I don't understand why the service wasn't great, the food tasted delicious had no problems with that the waiter had to be reminded to bring us some silverware so we can eat and also reminders of filling up our tea. I had a wonderful experience. Five stars all the way. First, my waitress, Kayla (not sure of spelling), was wonderful. I have a terrible gluten allergy, and she got a book, looked up what we wanted, and instructed us what was safe. That was a huge bonus there that she took the time. Then we ordered a chopped steak and it tasted like steak. I used to go to Texas R***h****, and their chopped steak was always grey, the wait for food was awful, and it was way too loud and uncomfortable, so we quit going. Longhorn went above and beyond. It was quiet, and the ambiance made you feel like you were fine dining. Our chopped steak was not only perfect but also divine. The sweet potato was cooked to perfection, and the salad was HUGE. I had the Outlaw Ribeye, I asked for light seasoning and a true medium. This is what l got. Cooked to perfection, delicious! My sides were sweet potato and Caesar salad. Both great! Also served was a loaf of bread, very tasty. My wine was passable (but l am very picky when it comes to wine). Prices are the best that l have ever seen in any of the local Steak houses. The host was on the phone, after she finally acknowledged me, she asked how many in my party then told me to look and see if they had arrived and went back on the phone. After my friends arrived she said there was a 10-15 minute wait. I was already there for 10 minutes but she did not take my name. After being seated our server took a while to greet us. She apologized and said she just walked in for her shift, it was 12 noon. After giving her our order she brought out water and bread, but no utensils. Wasn't sure if it was a rip off the bread and shove it in the butter cup service. She disappeared for a while and I had to ask the host for silverware. I ordered the burger, no cheese cooked medium. The burger was medium well and dry. I asked for ketchup and she brought it towards the end of our meal. The dining room did not look busy, maybe she was having a bad day. I drove from Phoenix on some business. I had a few hours to kill stopped in for a drink and an appetizer. The bartender was Stephanie greeting me with a smile and an outstanding attitude. After staying for the drink and the appetizer, I ordered the outlaw ribeye, which was suggested by Stephanie and was by far one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. if you're in the area or just driving through and looking for great food, served with a smile, stop by the bar and say hi to Stephanie. Our experience at the Longhorn in Tucson was good. We walked in about 5 pm on a Saturday. We were seated within 5 minutes as the restaurant was fairly busy but not yet completely full. Our server came by pretty quickly and took our drink order. He was very busy as it appeared they were short staffed. We gave him our orders and we didn't wait too long before we were served. Our steaks were good, and we enjoyed our sides as well. As far as the ambience, it was nice except for a kid who was screaming and his parents contributed to his bad behavior. They thought it was funny. We wouldn't allow our children to behave this way and disrupt other people trying to enjoy their meal. We will return another day. read more

We were a party of 14 and had to wait awhile on a weekend, but to be expected. Service was great and faster than expected. Waiters split up the table, one to each side. Everyone was happy with their meals. They even gave us each couple our own checks which was so helpful. The experience was much better than what we have experienced in Calif. where we live. The food and the waiter were very nice so it all started off great! The issue started when I needed to use the restroom. I walked in and immediately my nose was hit with a horrendous stench. One of the stalls had literal shit in it that had not been flushed, one of the sinks was backed up and filled with water, and the floors were disgusting. I'm extremely disappointed because that's a telltale sign that they are not a clean establishment if they can't keep up with restroom cleaning. I even went back after my meal to wash my hands and that stench was still there almost 45 minutes later. My boyfriend said the men's room was similar. I would definitely suggest looking for another restaurant, it was horrible how dirty it was. I will personally never be returning. read more

After 10 minutes 3 people were seated at the booth across from us. Within, not even kidding, 30 seconds of them sitting down, a server showed up at their table with coasters for their drink order. Walking out I saw the hostess with bread and maybe water (was so mad I can't remember if there was water) and I told her 'apparently our table doesn't have a server.' Ok, here's my breakdown...and basically these are all issues easily corrected if management had a clue. I was in Tucson & wanted a steak. I didnt need 5 star anything just a decent steak & some service to match. Longhorn wasnt too busy, was easily seated when I walked in. The server walked over & asked what I wanted to drink, iced tea, like always. He brings me the tea & I know what I want so I tell him, he mentions I get two sides. I look up and he's staring off in the distance. I get the NY & I mention Id like it rare minus, not medium, he shrugs, says he'll do what he can. I also say Id like some shrimp with the steak, he asks how many like Ive questioned his ability to count, which was weird. I also get the baked potato & rice pilaf, I ask for it loaded, but no cheese on the potato. A bit later he sets a small loaf of bread on the table, but fails to notice I had no silverware & leaves. I eventually get the attention of Iona, who stops, asks what else I might need & immediately returns with silverware. She did not seem hurried like all her associates or curt in her responses...this is how they should all act there, 5 stars to her. I get my meal, baked potato has cheese on it & no shrimp. Both the potato and the rice were undercooked. The steak was a nice cut of meat, at least it started that way. Apparently, the kitchen believes steaks need a pound of salt on them, which was the only thing I could taste. Justin, never realized he had forgotten the shrimp or that I didnt want cheese on the potato. He did ask if I needed a box about three bites into the the steak while running by. 've been a regular here, but I'm beyond frustrated. A few weeks ago, we placed a group takeout order and two salads came without the chicken. I called, and they told me, "Next time you order, just let us know and we'll add extra chicken." Well, I tried that today--and after waiting on hold 10+ minutes, the manager said that's not their policy and refused to honor it. She just kept repeating, "We'd refund you," but I didn't pay for the original order, so that didn't help me. When I finally got my salad, she was rude and forgot the dressing. Again. And the "extra chicken"? Just a couple sad, steamed strips--not even grilled like usual. Total letdown. Ambiance was just like the rest, however the Service was NOT! I probably sat at the bar a solid 8 minutes (and I was the ONLY one at the bar and in bar area. The bartender that was there did acknowledge me, however never stopped inputting his credit card tips, to hand me a menu, a glass of water... nothing. I'm sure it's because while doing this he was complaining about "my 10 hour shift" he just put in. Finally another Bartender/Server came from the floor to help me. I questioned whether we should come here or not for our anniversary but against my better judgment after reading the reviews we still came anyway today, March 19 at about 12 o'clock in the afternoon place had about two servers maybe five or six tables filled with elderly people, my husband and I Ordered soup and salad and a kids meal for our seven-year-old and appetizer took about 1015 minutes to get the drink drinks another 25 minutes for the soup and salad salad they put hot chicken on both of our salads which turned them into mush. The server was occupied by the elderly people sitting behind us on the side of us in front of us so so we got one refill of our drinks. After asking about five times my son never got a refill. I really wanted to leave her no tip at all, but my husband insisted on leaving her a tip we will not return. Service was super slow and food was not very good. read more

Instead, we had appetizers and sides. On a hot day in Arizona, I probably wouldn't have wanted meat anyway, but the smell out front from the nearby burger joint was so off-putting that I preferred eating spinach and cheese dip, Brussels sprouts, a baked potato, and the tonions (their equivalent to onion rings). Sharing these, my wife and I had more than enough to eat. Was this collation good? Eh. It was edible. The tonions were easily the best of the four. The ice-tea was good and again kudos to the server who actually brought the lime we had requested instead of lemon. In brief, I'd go back if somebody wanted, but I wouldn't initiate a trip. Stopped in for an early dinner with my friend, had a gift card to use after they messed up my Christmas dinner order back in December! We were greeted and seated pretty quickly, a booth by the front door. Enrique came over to take our drink order, we ordered the onion app, along with the mushrooms. The onion was too salty so we sent it back with no intent to reorder but Enrique had put in for it already. We enjoyed it and I enjoyed my mushrooms, they were delicious! I ordered the steak (medium) and shrimp. I only ate the shrimp because the steak was a little more red and bloody than expected so I plan to reheat it in the oven later. The mac n cheese with the bacon is my fav so I ate a bit and took the rest to go as well. Starting with the positives... The mashed potatoes were amazing (suspect box but I like those). The lobster shrimp chowder was AMAZING! The ranch dressing on the salad was just what the doctor ordered!! Conversely, the Wild West Shrimp are WAAAAY better when paired with the "Thai chili sauce" provided upon request, Than the beloved ranch for the salad. They do not have a hazy IPA or any IPA on tap.... WHAT?!? Hubby had the pork chops and while the flavor was ON POINT, the texture was tough. Knife required! Food is the reason we go to longhorn and f for years it's been incredible just recently. I don't know if it's new management but the last two times we've been mistakes have been uncooked correctly and we were there when it wasn't busy and it still took 40 minutes after the orders were placed to receive the appetizer and then another 30 minutes for the steak and i'm giving it four stars because you cannot give one star just because you had two bad experiences out of 1000, but I just wanted to be noticed and I will change it cause I'm sure the next time we go it's going to be just as good as it's always been I still recommend the ambience service and food. Just ask that they make sure that cook of the meat is correct, but if it's the same managers and owners, they know what they're doing. I was skeptical going to this location due to the reviews but it's the only one near my air bnb. When arriving there was plenty of parking and the restaurant looks very nice. Walking in I noticed it was very clean and we were seated pretty quick. Ordered some appetizers and they came out very quickly and were delicious. But the reason I came was for a nice steak after a long day of no eating. The steak was ordered medium rare and came out almost well done and the char was very bad tasted like chemical and as if the grill was lot cleaned. Jacob the manager came over and asked us if he can have them remake it we agreed because we waited all day to eat. So another 30 min goes by and the second steak comes out and it's worse than the first. At this point Jacob comped the whole meal and gave me and my friend gift cards to any longhorn we want. Jacob went above and beyond as a manager to provide excellent customer service and take care of the customer. Because of the appetizers and Jacob I can give this place a 3 star but honestly I would have given it a 1 star without his interjection and resolution of the situation. Food was amazing and came out fast! Service was really good waitress and hostess kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed! Showed up around 4 o'clock for an early dinner not too many people, but still some, we were taken back right away and given a booth. It was nice and clean.
