This bar is gorgeous! TVs everywhere and modern. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for late lunch. Unfortunately, the food was horrendous. I ordered wings, 6 wings with carrots and celery for $7. The wings were the smallest I've ever seen....smaller than the ones I buy from Costco. They had visible freezer burn and tasted dry. This place might be fun to hang out and have beers but not eat. Went out to have a good time. I rolled my ankle and fell and one of the waitress actually pointed at me and I confronted the waitress but in a professional manner. I instantly was escorted out and pointed out to the manger Todd that this I was a bullying moment. I am pretty sure that when you are the consumer your health and concern should be at stake and then the consumer should be the concern. Not the waitress who is making fun of you. I really wanted to like this place since I've lived in the neighborhood for 15 years and have seen other restaurants come and go. But sadly I cannot give a good report. We got there a bit before noon on a Thursday and only one other table was being occupied. The space was beautifully renovated with lots of flat screens and nice atmosphere but first of all it was HOT inside. A wall thermostat by our table said 80 degrees. The waitress explained it was usually like that when they open up the large windows. Anyway we ordered our meals ,Cobb Salad for me and a Hot Spicy Burger for him. The server, while very sweet ,did not seem knowledgeable about the menu. My water came and had a funny sour taste to it and we had to request silverware. The service was SLOW, food taking 30 minutes to arrive and my salad showed up without the hard boiled egg as promised on the menu. The blue cheese dressing also tasted sour and the French fries were sooo salty! Server never checked back with us until we were done thenthe check never showed up until we flagged down a very helpful bartender. Not sure I would recommend this place for a meal but drinks at the bar might be ok! read more

I wish I could give a zero review. My love and I have been here numerous times. Atmosphere is "usually" great. However, after giving it multiple tries, we are done. Reason 1: food absolutely stinks. We've tried so many things on the menu and all have significantly fallen short from even store bought bottom of the shelf items (nachos especially ). Only item we've liked (relatively speaking) is the Tequila Lime Chicken sandwich. And while I'm a foodie, my love isn't and has also been extremely disappointed with the food. Reason 2: There's been multiple times we have had issues with service. Tonight, as prime example, we sat at the bar for over 45 minutes while we had nearly empty drinks, with food menus sitting on the counter, while two additional bartenders arrived, and while they each walked past us both at least fifteen times, we weren't even acknowledged. We specifically asked for food menus, and our original server never returned. Overall, we wanted to believe in this place and love it as a local, but we will never be back after today. read more

We were very excited when we got a new non-chain place in our hood. The hubs enjoys going because the waitresses are generally pretty looking and baring cleavage or belly -- so the food could be awful and he's going to continue to go (it's not awful BTW). Really their food is good bar food. Solid wings (the hubs will recommend you ask the kitchen to grill them so they crisp up a bit more). We enjoy their nachos because they use queso and not shredded cheese. The child had enjoyed their flatbread cheese pizza and the hot dog off of the reasonably priced and well-selected kids menu. She's also tackled the banana split on a solo mission. It's enormous, it could sate 8 adults. Their prices are a bit high for the area but I guess it is what it is. I've heard and seen on FB that it gets kind of crazy their at night as far as night life but I will likely never experience that since I enjoy an early bedtime. read more

So this the second time I've been here. First was on a weekend night and the people that suggested warned me it would have the club vive going on. And that's what it was, mindless house music, unfriendly staff, just what you would expect. Pretty people don't have to be polite. Like Scottsdales second cousin. So, here on a Sunday and the main reason is, I'm hungry. And their website says kitchen is open till 1AM. Nope. I'm here at 10:15 And told kitchen is closed. Only came here because the menu looked good, but could have stayed at my regular place to eat and saved to Lyft ride to not eat. Can't comment on the food because we never got to that point. When we checked in, they said it would be 35 minutes-- okay, fine. We have two hungry toddlers but it's nice outside so we can wait. After a while they offer us a high top outside but they only have regular height high chairs. Hmm well our kids need to eat too so, no thanks. We wait some more, 45 minutes rolls around and we look inside and there are maybe 5 regular height tables, most with 2 people at them, and no one has even gotten food yet. We realized we were not going to be getting food anytime soon, the hostesses didn't care, so we decided to leave. They need to seat people better-- don't put 2 people after us at a regular table if you know we can't sit at the booths. Didn't realize this place was so small either. Given the other lukewarm reviews I don't think we'll bother trying again which is a bummer because we were excited about a cool bar close to home. read more

I love this spot! Just went there for the first time ever so we weren't familiar with the drink menu. I asked the bartender Lyndee what she suggested. All I told her was that I liked sweet drinks with a whole lot of alcohol and she really showed her drinkmaking talent! The other bartenders even know her as the one who makes the really good drinks with a whole lot of flavor. We will definitely be back! If you happen to go, ask for Lyndee. That girl knows her drinks- just tell her an idea or flavor you like and she will make it happen!! read more

Figured I would try this place out since its closer to me than Scottsdale. The decor is beautiful, nice selection for alcohol, good music and the waitresses seem super nice. But then I went to the bar and dun dun dun... One of the bartenders was so rude & the look on her face when she was serving me was so ugly that I considered throwing my drink on her lol, I asked one of the waitresses for the bartenders name and she said her name was Loida? Probably the rudest bartenders I have ever met/encountered with. This place would have gotten 5 stars from me but I dislike that bartender so much that I gave it one star. Whoever runs this place should really look into her ATTITUDE when shes serving customers. read more

Decided to try out look out tavern tonight for dinner! The decor is awesome, lots of outdoor space! Food was great, tons of beers on draft--some local beer which I love, friendly and helpful staff! Chelsea was our waitress! She was awesome--super outgoing, helpful, efficient and just all around great! We tried the pretzels and recommend those! The queso was great with those. Have been eagerly awaiting this place to open and it did not disappoint. Great TV's - not a bad set in the house. Wings were really good. Service was friendly and prompt. Damn. This place is exactly what the Moon Valley area needed. The place is cool, the people are good-looking and friendly and the food is top-notch. (Never had better jalepeño poppers in my life) Went for lunch one day then went back a couple of days later to check out the night-life. I certainly did not expect something as awesome as that. Stay away from the apps. We got the "mozzarella sticks" and nachos. The mozzarella sticks had something that resembles cheese but tasted oddly off. I'm from the Midwest and know a thing or two about cheese, and this was not cheese. And they were cold. Not a winning combo. The nachos had the same orange stuff on them, and were cold as well. Oh the humanity. We went to this joint to watch a UFC fight, and were there for about four hours. There were five of us and spent well over $100. Not more than five minutes after the fights were over, a leprechaun came over and told us that as a curtesy to us, if someone wanted bottle service we would need to get out. So if you want to hang out, spend money, and catch up with fiends, don't plan on being allowed to do this after the fights. The bright side is that our waitress Kayley, was awesome! read more

I was super excited to go here when it opened but I went once for a drink and it was during "happy hour". Their well drinks are not what you would think they would be. Every time you asked for something oh that's not one, that's not one. Well what do you consider one? Maybe make a list of your "well drinks" then. I have not returned, nor will I unfortunately. I even googled well drinks because the lady helping us didn't seem to even know and even then she was like nope.. okay then, I ended up getting a Long Island iced tea and leaving. I've gone twice in the past week and have mixed feelings. The place is gorgeous! It has a great vibe and plenty of TVs from which to choose (although no B1G network). A good atmosphere to bring the kids too- but they lack a kids menu so be prepared to share/improvise. The first visit a few days ago was great. Grabbed a few beverages and shared apps with family in town. Played some darts. And, to be honest, I'm a sucker for any place that has garage doors to the tables. Doors were wiiiiiiide open with Mountain View's. Had a blast. The second visit left a lot to be desired. I really try not to nitpick, but it was like a downhill running snowball. Order wings- no wings available. Order nachos- out of queso. Order a beer- didn't get it until I reminded my server 20 minutes later. Order burger cooked medium- came out well done. The visit left a lot to be desired. Service is slow but friendly. We live nearby and will try it again... hoping some of the concerns can be ironed out. read more

The atmosphere is nice and the amount of TVs is impressive. We had a dozen wings and they were reeeeally good. I loved the mustard ones. I had the frito dog with curly fries....i'd give it an 8/10. The hot dog could use a little more flavor, but it was still good enough to eat the whole thing! My husband had the hot and spicy burger. he thought it was pretty good. he says 7.5/10. it was strange the waitress didn't ask how he'd like it cooked but nonetheless it was flavorful and quite good. the drinks came out promptly. i had a Tito's mule and it was yummy. Needed a place for happy hour within walking distance since my usual place, the bar at Chili's, was full. Both have free wi-fi. Taste-wise the food was par, nothing that gave a "wow" factor. The only "wow" was the small portion size relative to the price. Chips and salsa and loaded nachos came on a small rectangular plate, and no refills on chips/salsa like at Chili's (and Chili's charges a dollar less - better chips imo too as they were the thinner, restaurant-style). Loaded nachos had queso (aka Velveeta) rather than real cheese. They seemed to have a diverse menu, but I kept it simple. Mixed Drinks were average in terms of alcohol amount. Ambiance was lively, and they had more TV screens. I didn't go during an event (sporting or karaoke) so I can't speak to how busy they get. Uniforms the girls were wearing was a bit skimpy in case that bothers you (some sites list them as family-friendly, but be prepared for something similar to Hooters or Twin Peaks). They were friendly tho, and had pretty timely service and check-ins. I'd probably go again, but only as an alternate choice. I'm cheap, and would rather get the free soft drink or chips/salsa (with bottomless refills!) as a Chili's rewards member :) read more

I'm in town visiting a friend of mine and we were both excited to try this new tavern out. But much to our disappointment we received little to no service. We arrived and went to the bar. We sat for close to 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Once we finally received our beers we were surprised to find they were served in plastic cups. After the initial wait to be greeted, we weren't shocked to realize that would be the only time the bartender came back over to us. Our food arrived and we didn't have utensils, napkins, or side plates. We couldn't get the attention of the bar staff so we had to reach out to a server walking by, to be able to get those items. Our annoyance, rightfully, grew greater and greater as the bar staff continued to ignore us. We then decided we probably weren't going to be receiving another beer as we were nearing empty and no one seemed to care. So we wanted to get our check and leave. However, after asking three different times for the check, we still hadn't received the check. We then had to reach out to Galynne, a server not working behind the bar, to ask her to get our check. When she went up to ask one of the bartenders, Kelsey, she had an incredibly poor attitude and response. She said she was only handling the service well and the other bartender was handling the bar top. You are all a team, we were clearly aggravated and she refused to bring us our check. Once we finally got it, we paid, and rushed out of there as quickly as possible. Not impressed with this tavern. read more

Food was fantastic!!! Service was not, my family and I had a waitress Alyssa ( I think that was her name), anyways we ordered appetizers and our meal. Never got our appetizers, asked her about it three times, then our meal came and I asked again about our appetizers, finally she came back and said it was a system glitch and our appetizers order never got sent to the kitchen (whatever), then the appetizers came and I told her I don't think I should have to pay for them, so she began to argue with me and say since I ordered them, and they came out I had to pay for them. I asked for the manger and before he could come over she said she would get it fixed. Finally after I paid my bill (and left a generous tip) some friends of ours was coming to meet us there, so we decided to stay. She came back to the table and I asked for a beer while I waited and she said sure. Once my friends arrived she came back to the table and asked if they wanted anything to drink. They said water and she said sure. Well after 30 minutes she never came back and I never got my beer, they never got their water and we left. read more
