Came here on a Wednesday with a friend. I found this spot randomly looking for places to eat during lunch. I saw the reviews and pics of the bulgogi cheesesteak and definitely wanted to give the place a try. The place has a very chill vibe, not too bright and clean. Got the bulgogi cheesesteak ($15.95) with povolone and it was really good, flavorful and the portion size was pretty big. My friend got the tofu bowl which she was not a fan of and didn't really eat much of it and mentioned that it was not what she expected. I felt kinda bad since I picked the spot.. If you're in the mood for cheesesteak with an Asian fusion twist to it, I highly recommend Loopy's. * Good service * Happy hour drink specials available * Gender neutral restroom

found this place randomly and glad we did! they have a variety of korean fusion items, it was hard to choose what to try! the bento option was a good amount of food, had to take some home. the chicken was tender and yummy! the fried rice was not as flavorful as i personally would like it, but some enjoy that light flavor! the kimchi was a bit too sour for me but good flavor (also a personal preference). area and seating is very nice, great lunch spot, id def go again!

I came here on a Sunday evening with a friend and the staff was super friendly and seated me quickly! The menus were on iPads with was pretty cool. The food came out pretty quick. The decorations were pretty nice and I loved the bird themed chandelier. They also had a clean bathroom in the back. Beef Bulgogi Cheesesteak ($15.95) - I got this with provolone cheese and Yum yum sauce. I've never thought about a bulgogi beef cheesesteak combination before. There was a lot of meat, and this was pretty good and filling!

I was in the area with the colleagues for work & when it was time to get lunch, we happen to come across "Loopy's Eatery" & I'm so glad we did! There a specials posted outside the window & the "spicy ramen" definitely caught my eye because I love ramen. I had their spicy ramen with bulgogi beef & it was so good! The beef was tender, the ramen was perfect & broth flavorful with a little heat in the background. It was served with pickled radish on the side which was little sweet & crunchy & balanced out the heat in the background. One of my colleagues tried their bibimbap bowl (which I was seriously considering getting too) & it looked delicious & he said it tasted good. My other colleague had the French fry bowl & enjoyed it as well & said the shrimp was good. I had a Thai ice tea, (which if this is ever on any menu I have to get it) & it didn't disappoint. Trying out a new restaurant, you never know what you'll get it. I'm happy the food here was good & didn't disappoint. My only critique is, there isn't a pubic restroom, so hopefully with time that can change because when serving food, you should always have a restroom available in a sit down restaurant. I won't hold that against them, because the food was 5 stars & came out hot.

I understand the 5 star review and wonder why this place isn't more popular. A hidden gem in garment district! I got the lunch platter with spicy pork and was very satisfied with it. The sides were curry chicken and salad. Even though it didn't look like much, I was stuffed at the end! The best part was it was delicious. Can't wait to come back to try other things on the menu

Food 10/10 Simple and delicious. Most of the time when I eat out, I am by myself and I really just wanna something simple, quick and affordable. It's weird to say this but there are not that many places fits all these criteria in the city, but this is one of them Service 10/10 This is more like grab and go take out place rather than a sit down restaurant, but you have the sit down option. You pay first and get the food later. The fact that I don't have to pay the ridiculous high tip really makes me wanna come back here

Super affordable with large portions! This small Korean fusion restaurant was empty when we came in, but it was very clean and the staff was so friendly. Our order only took about 10-15 minutes to come out, and everything was delicious. The plating was adorable as well. Great value for equally great taste!

I came on Christmas Day after getting in from travel to Penn Station and am still thinking about the bulgogi cheesesteak. The flavor and texture were incredible. The staff were also very nice.

Yes, our Manhattan location is open.

Are you all really closed? Are you reopening somewhere else? Been dying to try!

Sorry, but we are closed. We are planning to open another location, but it will be way up in NYC.

Can some dishes be prepared without black or white pepper? (I have a pepper allergy)

Yes, the Bibim Bop bowls, platters, and burritos can be made without any pepper spices. Just make sure to request no carrots for the bibim bop bowl, and white rice for any other entree. Hope this helps.

Food: Heres what I've tried. Fried chicken wings with lemongrass sauce--- Topped with cilantro, Thai ginger chips, and fresh mint leaves--so flavorful it goes straight to the bones. Perfectly sized, not too big or too small. OMG, it was really, really good. The aroma alone is already mouthwatering, and the umami is just next level. Grilled jumbo tiger shrimp (18 for 2 pcs)-- A bit firm for my liking--I felt they were slightly overcooked--but still very savory and rich in flavor. Mango Salad--- A refreshing twist on the usual mango salad. It has avocado, which makes it stand out, and it's less saucy than most versions. It's not your typical lychee martini. It has Aperol and pineapple, which gives it a great flavor. My only note is that I wish it were a bit stronger. For appetizers we had the yellowtail, which is a must get. It was delicious. We also had the lobster spring rolls, another great dish, and the crispy wontons, which were good but not my favorite compared to everything else. For our entrée we got the beef tenderloin, another must get. It was amazing, super tender, and melts in your mouth. We had it with the fried rice, which was solid. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection. Overall, this place is gorgeous and the food matches. I would definitely return. The service was also great, the perfect balance of letting you do your own thing and truly enjoy your evening while still checking in. It is pricey. We each paid $184 including tip, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or to spoil yourself a bit.

Best way to describe this is luxe Asian or bougie Chinese. If you are fan of top Chef it would be called soigné. We had three of the hot apps, Foie gras, lobster shumai with caviar and morel mushroom with spinach crystal dumplings. After that we're deciding between the quail and beef tenderloin wok dishes. Since the quail was spicy went with tenderloin which came with small serving of rice. All the food was great. I felt the crystal dumpling needed a kicked and they brought Out there house soy and hot vinegar sauce. For drinks I tried there mix of a classic martini with an old fashioned and after discussions with there somm who nicely recommended a more affordable bottle that would meet our needs got the Chardonnay by glass as a bottle. Enjoyed the meal though likely spent 5 times what usually spend on Chinese place mainly due to cost of alcohol. Place is well designed with a look similar to Butter downtown with the arched ceiling mixed with with the sound dampening feature of similar design of bar Boulod. Will return to try the quail and the lobster spring rolls and if they keep to this standard will increase rating to 5.
