This place is adorable! We went for lunch during our stay in Willits at an RV spot and when looking for a place with vegetarian options, can across the reviews for their extreme veggie. So glad we went, the sandwiches were delicious! Highly recommend.

There seems to be an abundance of independent eating establishments in the small pass-through town of Willets so the reviews were helpful. Else, we wouldn't have known about this little place on a side street. The restaurant is as cozy as a bistro with a nice, covered seating area in addition to the small dining room. The menu is impressive and primarily sandwiches and salads. (No French fries.) The Santa Fe Chicken sandwich was very good. The chicken Caesar Salad was fresh but I would have liked a little more chicken. Our server was very friendly and efficient. Note that they only accept cash or check and have an ATM. Very casual with styrofoam cups and paper plates.

Cash only. The sandwiches are very unique and fresh. They don't serve French fries with the sandwiches but do serve chips, salad and soups a la carte. The service was great. The ambiance is cute. I'd recommend Loose Caboose Cafe to others.

Hometown favorite always have to visit when i return. The menu has always been a classic nothing has changed and the food is still tasting outta this world. No matter what the day or the weather this spot always hits. Best sandwiches in the town my favorite being the chicken pesto. Staff is always so friendly and the dinning room and patio are very comfortable with plenty of seating. Make sure to check this spot out.

Had a friend rave about this place while we were in town so I had to check it out. Snuggled dreamily on a one way street it evoked charm from the exterior as you can see. It is blessed by amazing flora and fauna that graces the outdoor patio section, which is peaceful and makes you feel like you are in another world. The staff is helpful, attentive, knowledgeable and amazing. The food choices were tremendous. My friend had the Cordon Bleu, which he is still talking about and my WigWag pastrami was it's equal. Definitely a must to frequent in Willits.

This place is a gem. Not only is the food delicious but the service is wonderful. This place serves the best sandwiches I have ever tasted in my life. I had the Chattanooga chicken sandwich and wow it was delicious. Everything is made fresh and hot. Additionally, the restaurant is very cute. It's small but cozy. The only downfall is that they only accept cash. They do have an ATM in the restaurant, but obviously using an general ATM has fees. My boyfriend had the Santa Fe Chicken sandwich, which is their most popular and he was very impressed. I highly recommend trying this place out.

It would be out of my way to go here from the Bay Area on my way to Mendocino.... And I am already planning my detour to make it back for another sandwich. 10/10.

Emma the Pug was super happy that the patio is dog friendly!

Best French dip I've ever had. My partner had the chicken parm sandwich. It was just as good.

The lady that helped us was really nice as we ordered our order to-go. I went with 2 crispy pastor tacos, lingua street taco, and an elote. Upon getting our order, I asked for extra hot sauce stating I would like the hottest one they had. I LOVE hot and spicy food and sauces. She tells me they have a very spicy chili oil but it's extra. You better believe I paid for the super spicy chili oil. The oil was amazing. The chilis were blended down into a thick paste in the oil. She told me to be careful since it can irritate your skin. I started with one of their tortilla chips and dip a little corner in to try it. The flavor had a smokiness to it. It is similar to thai chili oil. It was spicy but it was manageable. I proceeded to cover my crispy tacos in globs of it. Well, the heat builds hahaha my lips were puffy from eating so much and my mouth was on fire a little but I didn't feel like I was dying. Some water helped clear it up. If you like spicy, this oil is definitely something to try. Be careful if you don't normally eat very spicy. The crispy pastor tacos were pretty good. The pastor was seasoned a little different than what I have ever had when ordering pastor but still good flavor it was just a little on the salty side. I probably will change meat type next time. The tacos came with lettuce, cheese, cilantro, and a little pico. I asked for no sour cream. The tortillas have great flavor and were super crispy. There was a lot of extra lettuce, which I appreciate. My tripa street taco came with radish and a grilled jalapeños tucked inside the tinfoil which was a nice surprise since I thought it was just the taco. The tripa was fried nicely and was crispy. The flavor was simple but good. This taco wasn't salt which I liked. I covered this in chili oil as well lol. I also got an elote that I didn't take a picture of. I think by the time I ate it the heat had caused it to sweat a little so the toppings were dripping off a little. The flavor was good. Not too much not too little tajin so it was good for me. The elote was ok. I probably shouldn't have eaten in hot. Don't know if I would order it again. I love this place. It was a pleasant surprise for sure. I will absolutely be stopping here again on long trips out of town. My boyfriend loved his food. He stated it was some of the best chili verde he has had and will be telling his coworkers to make a pitstop here on their way out. Chili oil 5/5 Food 4/5

My friends and I were hanging out nearby after enjoying some…read morereally good food, and when we stopped in, everything was clean and the staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. It's the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back and support a local business. The only reason my visit took an emotional turn was unexpectedly seeing the owner of a nearby construction business. Knowing what I know, I instantly felt uneasy and uncomfortable. In a small town filled with so many families and children, that feeling hit even harder. I immediately knew I would never support that business again. Thankfully, that experience doesn't reflect this construction business at all. The business itself was wonderful, and the employees made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. I truly hope this business continues to thrive because it deserves the support of the community.

We got the pad thai with chicken and green curry with chicken and a side of brown rice. The brown rice was the fun kind with that great texture, super yummy with the green curry. Green curry was super flavorful and packed with veggies and chicken. Thai tea with coconut milk was a little sweet for me but still very very flavorful.
